As a senior leader within the team, the Membership Engagement Manager will play a key role in delivering AMiE’s mission and supporting the education of mathematics across the sector.

The Association for Mathematics in Education (AMiE) supports anyone involved in mathematics education through a wide range of resources, publications, CPD opportunities and events. We shape the future of mathematics by bringing the sector together and providing a platform for a shared voice to advocate for the learning and teaching of mathematics.

Leading the development and delivery of our membership and engagement strategies, you will ensure that AMiE is focussed on the needs and wants of our members, growing and retaining members and ensuring we fulfil our aim to be a strong and cohesive platform for people across the mathematics education sector to be supported, developed and heard.

As well as taking responsibility for member recruitment and retention, you will ensure a responsive and compelling member offer and provide strong and supportive line management to our team of committed staff.

• Lead the development and delivery of AMiE’s membership and engagement strategy, ensuring growth, retention and a compelling member offer.
• Drive strategic improvements in member acquisition, retention and lifetime value, aligning services and products with member needs.

What we need from you:

Essential

· Significant experience in a senior membership and/or engagement role

· Strong track record of developing and delivering membership strategies that drive growth, retention, and engagement

· Experience in using membership data via CRM systems, data tools, and digital platforms to manage member engagement activity and maximise impact and efficiency

· Line management experience, including a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams

· Experience in building and managing strong relationships and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

About the role

Role Requirements

· Develop and maintain an effective clinical governance framework that supports safe and high-quality care.

· Facilitate regular clinical governance meetings to discuss performance, incidents, and quality improvement initiatives.

· Ensure that clinical pathways and practices are aligned with best practice guidelines and evidence-based standards.

· Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety across all services, promoting a culture of transparency and reporting.

· Implement and maintain the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), ensuring that learning from         incidents is captured and shared.

· Monitor and report on patient safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate action plans are developed.

· Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.

· Lead quality impact assessments for new initiatives or changes in practice, evaluating potential risks and benefits and manage the organisational governance in relation to these.

· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines, including CQC regulations and national safety frameworks.

· Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory changes and ensure organisational policies and practices reflect these updates.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Context 

Q:alliance provides support, information and representation for LGBTQ+ people who live, work and socialise in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Our goal is to create safe, welcoming spaces and accessible resources to ensure that the LGBTQ+ community is visible, represented and supported. 

Scope 

The Adult Project Worker will facilitate up to three weekly provisions for LGBTQ+ adults, working collaboratively within the team to develop activities that reduce isolation, create opportunities for belonging, and strengthen participation within the LGBTQ+ community in Milton Keynes. 

Sessions may take place at our centre in Fenny Stratford or at community locations across Milton Keynes, including Central Milton Keynes. Due to the nature of community-based group provision, most sessions take place during evenings, with some weekend working required to support community events and activities. 

Main Responsibilities  

• Support, information and empowerment – Develop and deliver resources, activities and events within group programmes. Create welcoming, safe and enjoyable environments where community members feel respected and included. Provide light-touch support and appropriate signposting to relevant services, and liaise with stakeholder organisations that support our community. 

• Co-production – Encourage meaningful involvement from beneficiaries in shaping activities and services. Support individuals to take on participatory roles within the organisation, such as co-chairing sessions or contributing to programme development. Seek innovative ways to embed community voice within service delivery. 

• Inclusivity – Ensure that services remain welcoming and accessible to a diverse range of LGBTQ+ people. Support activities that reflect varied perspectives, experiences and identities within the community.

• Support the development, validation, and practical application of feline welfare data collection tools. 

• Coordinate on-site technical logistics and data collection at UK adoption centres, including hardware deployment and software troubleshooting, while designing resilient, internet-enabled monitoring systems. 

• Use specialised programming skills to develop and maintain interactive software applications, creating user-friendly mechanisms for stakeholders to interrogate research outputs and inform management decisions. 

• Act as technical project lead for the transition of a Markerless Pose Estimation (MPE) system from external academic development into internal pipelines for automated cat behaviour and activity monitoring. 

• Lead and support on evidence synthesis projects and associated publications, in order to create robust knowledge bases for shelter, unowned and owned cat welfare and risk factors. 

About the Research team: 

• The Feline Welfare Research Team are a small but growing team of six scientists, who sit within the wider Cat Welfare department. The team supports the organisation in improving our understanding of feline welfare both on a population and individual basis across a range of disciplines including epidemiology, demography and welfare assessment. 

• The team are responsible for providing the charity with scientific expertise. 

What we’re looking for in our Cat Scientist - Emerging Welfare Technology: 

• Extensive experience undertaking non-invasive animal behaviour and welfare studies, including first-author publications. 

• Significant experience in research project design and leadership, including planning, oversight, and completion of projects on time and within budget. 

• Experience leading and advising on data-led research and innovation projects to inform animal management or conservation strategies 

• Strong programming and statistical data analysis skills including experience of transitioning academic research or coding systems into practical, operational tools to support positive animal health and welfare outcomes

• Solid grasp of research principles and the ability to find, absorb, and apply new analytical techniques

Role Overview:

This is a new and pivotal role at RMJ, created to build our individual giving programme from the ground up. You’ll take a small but committed base of supporter donors and grow it into a thriving, sustainable income stream. If you enjoy working in a small, collaborative team within a fast-moving organisation that’s ready to scale its impact, this role offers the chance to shape something truly meaningful.

As our Individual Giving Fundraiser, you will lead on digital and direct marketing appeals, engagement campaigns, and supporter journeys that inspire people to take action  - whether that’s making a gift, leaving a legacy, taking on a fundraising challenge, or becoming a long-term advocate for our work.

We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ fundraising experience within a campaigning organisation, charity, membership body, or political party. You’ll bring the creativity and drive needed to start a programme almost from scratch, alongside practical experience delivering fundraising across both digital and print channels. You’ll know how to engage different audiences, motivate them to give, and build strong relationships over time.

You’ll also be someone who loves working with data - using it to understand donor behaviour, analyse performance, spot trends, and make smart, evidence-based decisions. By combining data, strong storytelling, and supporter insight, you’ll help us deepen donor engagement and increase income to fuel RMJ’s mission.

Help tackle loneliness among older people in care homes

Thousands of older people living in care homes receive few or no visitors. Friends for Life Bedfordshire exists to change that.

Through our befriending and group activities, we bring companionship, connection and meaningful relationships to care home residents across Bedford and the surrounding area.

We are now looking for a Manager to lead the charity through a period of growth and transition – expanding our reach, strengthening our team, improving our delivery whilst building a sustainable future.

About Friends for Life Bedfordshire

We are a Bedford-based charity working to address the social isolation of older residents in Bedfordshire’s care homes.

Founded in 2007, we have grown from a small local initiative to a registered charity with c90 volunteers supporting more than 30 care homes across Bedford Borough. In the last year, over 1,100 care home residents received our services.

The Role

This is a leadership role responsible for the overall management, performance and development of the charity.

You will lead a small team which includes specialist leads responsible for fundraising, volunteer management, and marketing & partnerships.

Your role is to set direction for the team to deliver the charity’s strategy and business plan, aligning priorities and creating the conditions for the team to succeed.

You will also act as the public face of Friends for Life, working closely with the Board of Trustees. Whilst we are small charity and this is a hands-on leadership role, success will come from enabling others, not by doing everything yourself.

Key Responsibilities

Management of the Charity

• Lead the day-to-day running of the charity and the delivery of its business plan
• Work with Trustees to shape and implement plans for development, sustainability and impact
• As a member of the Board, contribute to the wider governance of the charity

Management of People

• Lead and develop a team of 5 part-time staff, including functional leads for fundraising, volunteer management, and marketing/partnerships
• Set clear priorities, objectives and accountability across the team
• Support and challenge team members to deliver against ambitious targets

· Rebuild and stabilise the team following a period of transition

Operational Management

• Ensure effective delivery of the befriending and activity programmes
• Drive growth in the number of residents supported by scaling volunteer recruitment and engagement
• Use digital tools and services to improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery
• Ensure services remain high-quality, safe and responsive to need, whilst complying with legislation and safeguarding requirements

Management of Fundraising

• Ensure effective delivery of fundraising strategy
• Support the development of new income streams including community fundraising, individual giving and partnerships
• Ensure income targets are met and funding relationships are effectively managed

Management of Partnerships & Profile

• Build and maintain relationships with care homes, other partners and stakeholders
• Raise the profile of the charity through external engagement, advocacy and partnerships

Financial Management & Governance

• Oversee budgets and ensure effective financial management
• Work with the Treasurer and Board on financial planning, risk and compliance
• Ensure safeguarding, governance and regulatory requirements are met

About You

We are looking for a strong people leader who can bring clarity, structure and momentum to a small but ambitious charity.

• Experience in a management role, ideally in a charity, community or care setting

Job Title: Floating Support Worker

Location: Warwickshire

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire. This service will provide emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. 

The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.  A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.

The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

Background and Contract

This is a role that promises good growth potential, with the chance to work across multiple geographies. The position of Junior Impact Analyst, at Bridges Outcomes, will support education projects funded by Sustainable Development Goals Outcomes Fund (SDG OF).

Reporting to the Operational lead, the primary focus of this position will be the successful delivery of the Sierra Leone Early Childhood Education (SLECE), the Rwanda Early Childhood, and South African Early Childhood initiatives. However, we also anticipate this role to support our work in the Ghana Education Outcomes Programme (GEOP), leveraging overlapping themes and collaborative opportunities across these impactful projects.

You will contribute to programme performance, data quality and evidence generation across initiatives in Sierra Leone, Rwanda, South Africa and Ghana. Across all programmes, we work with a mix of national and international NGOs.

Sierra Leone Early Childhood Education (SL ECE) 

A national initiative focused on expanding safe community‑based centres, improving access and attendance, strengthening structural and process quality, and enhancing holistic child development outcomes. Delivery is implemented through multiple lots with NGO partners. The programme is currently in implementation and runs from 2026 to 2029.

Rwanda Early Childhood Education Programme 

Launched in 2026, this four‑year programme focuses on strengthening early childhood development outcomes through evidence‑driven delivery and performance management.

South Africa Early Childhood Programme 

Initiated in 2026, this three‑year programme supports improvements in early learning quality and access through partnerships with national and international NGOs.

Ghana Education Outcomes Programme (GEOP) 

 Supporting the government’s GALOP strategy through outcomes‑based delivery across rural districts and major urban centres. The programme includes an Accelerated Learning Programme for out‑of‑school children and a Mainstream School Improvement Programme. Implementation runs from 2023 to 2026.

Role Purpose

The Junior Impact Analyst will be accountable for:

· Providing hands‑on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) guidance to in‑country delivery partners (national and international NGOs), ensuring practical, context‑appropriate monitoring systems that drive performance improvement.

· Coordinating closely with delivery partners to track milestones, validate outcome achievements, and ensure timely submission of evidence required by the Outcomes Fund commissioner.

· Enhancing the data capabilities of delivery partners, with a strategic emphasis on effective decision-making.

· Developing practical performance‑management tools and forecasting models that help anticipate delivery risks and guide course‑correction.

· Creating and disseminating actionable insights and learnings to support delivery partners and internal teams, emphasizing strategic problem-solving to enhance outcomes.

· Ensuring that delivery partners within the programme adopt data-driven approaches to continuously refine and improve service delivery.

· Leading and standardizing data analysis efforts across programmes, driving improvements in services, systems, and processes through collaborative work with the team.

· Spearheading the development of templates and process frameworks that empower delivery partners to achieve operational excellence.

· Overseeing and fulfilling comprehensive reporting requirements, including the preparation of impact assessments and reports for commissioners and the board.

· Ensuring MEL systems meet programme‑level compliance requirements, including data quality assurance, verification readiness, and alignment with commissioner standards.

· Strategically supporting financial processes by overseeing invoicing and budgeting to enhance financial efficiency and sustainability of projects.

Key responsibilities

Delivery Impact

· Co‑develop MEL frameworks with delivery partners, ensuring indicators, tools, and data flows are realistic for community‑level implementation and aligned with programme outcomes

· Facilitate collaboration among data analyst teams from delivery partners to proactively address challenges and co-create solutions aimed at enhancing service delivery

· Follow up with delivery partners on activity completion, milestone progress, and evidence submission, ensuring timely and accurate reporting into programme systems.

 Process Improvement

· Lead strategic initiatives to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

· Refine and adapt existing working files and tools to optimize usability and performance, while evaluating current practices and identifying opportunities for substantial improvements.

· Identify opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data

· Strengthen MEL processes within delivery partners, including data collection protocols, field supervision routines, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.

 Data Analysis

· Deliver high-quality statistical analysis and comprehensive impact reports to engage diverse stakeholders and provide meaningful insights that include short, medium, and long-term projections for enhanced programme impact.

· Ensure the relevance and effectiveness of data dashboards by integrating early warning systems to highlight priority areas for action.

· Translate data into practical performance insights for delivery partners, highlighting operational bottlenecks and recommending corrective action

· Provide mentorship and strategic oversight to M&E teams within delivery partners, ensuring the effective completion of roles and responsibilities.

· Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure high standards of grammar and accuracy in all documentation.

Data Integrity

· Collate and update volumetric and programme data and systems, continually developing and refining data collection processes.

· Strengthen data reliability by enhancing data flow from beneficiaries through to final reporting.

· Conduct periodic data quality checks with in‑country CSO teams, ensuring accuracy of field‑level data and alignment with verification requirements

· Ensure compliance with data protection legislations when retaining and sharing information.

· Identify opportunities for process automation and ease of access to information.

Impact Presentation

· Deliver consistent, aggregated representations of project performance against targets, ensuring clear and compelling presentations.

· Partner closely with the Programme Director and Manager to create and deliver engaging and accurate programme outcome presentations.

· Tailor communication to suit varied audiences, including formal presentations for high-level stakeholders.

Relationship Management

· Collaborate with Analyst colleagues to streamline data processes, minimizing manual interventions where possible.

· Build strong working relationships with in‑country CSO teams, providing supportive, capacity‑building engagement that strengthens MEL practice and operational delivery

· Work collaboratively with finance and investment teams to monitor programme invoicing and maintain awareness of the intersection between outcome achievement and the financial status of the project.

· Actively contribute to stakeholder meetings and forums, demonstrating focus and attentiveness to discussions

· Support the Operations Lead and Senior Impact Analyst in ensuring delivery partners meet commissioner compliance requirements, including documentation, evidence standards, and reporting timelines.

 · Previous Power BI experience would be advantageous.

 · Ability and desire to travel to Sierra Leone and similar contexts.

About the role

As a Lead Worker (Intensive Case Management), you will deliver intensive, person-centred, and holistic support to people who are disadvantaged and need significant support to end their homelessness. You will be collaborating with internal and external colleagues to meet people’s immediate, acute needs and to support them to start taking steps towards ending their homelessness.

We take a bold approach to supporting people and adapt our ways of working when needed to ensure that we are providing impactful, equitable service giving everyone a fair opportunity to receive the support they need. We help people to challenge barriers put up by the system. This is an incredibly varied role as you will offer practical support such as help to attend external appointments, open bank accounts, and obtain IDs, but you will also work closely with our internal clinical psychologists to help your members to recognise their strengths and build resilience.

About you

• You have experience supporting people with complex trauma and multiple needs including mental health, physical health and substance misuse difficulties, a history of multiple exclusion and social isolation.

• You have worked within a relevant sector which could include domestic violence, women’s services, migrants’ services, probation, or health services.

• You have knowledge of relevant housing, homelessness, social care, and welfare legislation.

• You work reflectively and welcome learning through continuous improvement.
