JOB TITLE: Front of House Receptionist/Administrator

Key tasks
> Give a 5* welcome to visitors, guests, students and contractors.
> Be well acquainted with all activities and events due to take place in the house each day and be able to act as a central point of communication for our guest experience.
> Liaise with College staff and the House Manager to ensure students ,tutors and other guests stays with us are run smoothly and efficiently from time of booking through to their leaving us.
> Booking of bedroom reservations via telephone and email using CRM
> Ensure relevant staff in the Waverley Abbey team are well briefed with any updates to activities on the day.
> Administrative tasks day to day with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
> Act as Duty Manager for the House at weekends when required – on a rota basis.
> Engage face-to-face, by email and telephone with enquirers to inform them about and promote all that Waverley Abbey offers, signposting them to relevant areas of the organisation as appropriate.
> Ensure the foyer is clean, tidy and well presented at all times.
> Support other Front of House /café/restaurant/Event duties if required.

We are looking for a part time Volunteer Coordinator to join our small team at a very exciting time of growth for our charity.
Change for Good recently grew from a local mentoring charity in HMP Wandsworth to an innovative resettlement charity serving 4 London prisons.
We provide prison leavers with one-to-one mentoring and welcome them into our peer-led support group Next Chapter Community.
The Volunteer Coordinator will be self-motivating and energetic, with experience and heart for vulnerable people leaving prison. They will be comfortable working with members with lived experience of the justice system, and with using interpersonal skills to develop relationships with diverse communities and congregations who may be a source of volunteers. They will be engaging and recruiting potential volunteers and managing and equipping volunteers in their work. The Volunteer Coordinator will have empathy with Change for Good’s faith-based values and ethos.
We are looking for a Children's Spiritual Formation Lead. In this role, you will develop and create a spiritual formation pathway for children, that fosters spiritual growth through contemplative Christian practices, with a specific focus on pioneering and developing retreat day experiences for schools as part of the pathway. This is a national role that will enable churches to support their ministry to children in schools through contemplative Christian practices. You will also, where needed, play a hands-on role in supporting churches and schools in our work.
In this role, you will:

and delivering training for churches, leaders, lay volunteers, & students.

Embed a network of volunteer adult & student Contemplative Practice Champions to sustain & refine delivery of retreats and the contemplative spiritual formation pathway.

About You

Prison Fellowship (PF) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Head of Volunteer & Church Engagement to lead and develop our work with volunteers and churches across England and Wales.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, this role offers both strategic influence and hands-on leadership. You will shape the development of PF’s volunteer engagement and church partnerships, ensuring that volunteers are inspired, equipped and mobilised to deliver transformational support for people in prison and their families.
You will lead volunteer recruitment, induction and leadership development, supporting a large and geographically dispersed volunteer base. Working closely with colleagues, you will help ensure volunteers are aligned with PF’s programmes and priorities, while developing new and innovative ways for people to engage in PF’s work.
A key element of the role is church engagement. You will develop and lead PF’s church engagement strategy, building and sustaining strong relationships with churches across denominations. You will represent PF at churches, events and festivals, and work with the Chief Executive to cultivate relationships with senior and denominational church leaders.
About you
The successful candidate will have experience in volunteer management and leadership development, strong communication and public-speaking skills, and a good understanding of the UK Church. You will be a collaborative and resilient leader, able to think strategically while delivering operationally. Experience in a faith-based organisation is essential, and experience in prisons or criminal justice is desirable.
Working arrangements

Salary and Progression
Trainee Debt Advisor starting salary of £25,810 with the opportunity to progress to a Debt Advisor role with a salary of £27,960 usually within 12 months. Further progression is available to a Senior Debt Advisor with a salary of £29,926, usually after 2 years (based on meeting necessary performance and development criteria).

As a Trainee Debt Advisor you will complete a comprehensive programme of classroom training, exams and on the job sign off to equip you to be able to bring expert advice and support our clients in their journey to becoming debt free.
Once you step into one team, you will be working in a fast paced, but rewarding environment. As a debt advisor you will be creating bespoke advice, crafted to help each client gain greater control over their finances. Create a client budget from information gathered by local CAP staff, reviewing documentation, identifying further queries and applying guidance to expenditure

To advise clients on their best options to deal with their financial difficulties. This includes formulating a strategy to become debt free, as well as broader advice relevant to their financial situation

Stella Maris is the official maritime charity of the Catholic Church. We are looking for a Regional Port Chaplain for Immingham and the South Humber Ports to support seafarers, fishers and their families.
In this unique and rewarding role, you'll be the welcoming face of Stella Maris in your region, visiting ships, listening to crew members, and offering practical, pastoral and spiritual support to anyone in need, regardless of faith or background.
About the role
No two days are the same. You might spend the morning visiting ships and listening to crew members' stories, help someone contact their family back home, support a seafarer in crisis, or offer a quiet moment of prayer on deck.
You'll also recruit and support a team of volunteers, work closely with other maritime charities and local partners, and build strong relationships with parishes, dioceses, and port authorities. You'll be part of a nationwide network of Stella Maris chaplains, supported through regular meetings, retreats and professional development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Visit ships regularly to meet seafarers and fishers, responding to their pastoral, practical and spiritual needs.
- Provide practical help such as transport, communication access, and emergency or crisis support.
- Offer spiritual care to Catholic seafarers and facilitate the religious needs of those from other faiths.

As a member of the fundraising management team, you'll contribute to shaping and delivering the Fundraising and Engagement strategy while providing leadership and development for the Supporter Engagement Lead. You'll lead the implementation of Individual Giving and Church Engagement strategies to achieve agreed KPIs for income growth and supporter retention, while managing operational delivery of fundraising processes including supporter-centric donation platforms, thanking, banking, and Gift Aid compliance.

You'll build and grow the Spurgeons Church Network, oversee the creation of resources and organisation of events to equip churches for prayer, giving, and community engagement, and research church denominations and networks to inform engagement activities. Managing budgets and reporting for individual and church engagement activity, you'll ensure cost-effective delivery and clear ROI.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Track record in fundraising and supporter engagement, delivering measurable income and retention growth
- Experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies, donor journeys and stewardship programmes
- Managing campaigns and appeals from planning to evaluation, using CRM systems to track KPIs and donor trends
- Strong understanding of individual giving, donor acquisition, retention and stewardship.
By month 3, you'll have audited current Individual Giving and Church engagement processes, delivered your first supporter email, and developed a 12-month roadmap for Individual Giving, Church engagement, and events. By month 6, you'll have launched the annual Christmas appeal and one community fundraising initiative, developed the regular giving programme and church engagement resources, and presented a 6-month review with data-driven recommendations. This is a brand-new role where you’ll help shape our approach to fundraising from the ground up — growing and supporting individual giving in our parishes, helping to build a new CMS, developing diocesan-wide appeals, and co-creating a simple and effective legacy campaign.

Main Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser to refine and roll-out the parish fundraising programme.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser and Deputy Chief Operating Officer to devise and deliver a programme of annual diocesan appeals.
- Develop and deliver clear and engaging content for print, digital, website and social media elements of the appeal.
- Ensure donors and users have an accessible and seamless experience across all channels.

- Implement and maintain a diocesan Customer Management System
- Prepare and share donation reports and feedback for each parish programme and diocesan appeal.
- Review and analyse reports to gain insights into donor behaviour and improve future fundraising activity.
- Develop and implement a simple legacy strategy
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser and Trust Fundraiser to explore and develop other fundraising income streams.
- Research and keep abreast of industry activity and trends.

Keychange provides care, support, personal development, and well-being services across nine sites in England, consisting of seven residential Care Homes for older people and two Housing Communities for women and young people, with an additional housing site in development. Wayside Community is a 19-bed supported accommodation project in Reigate for women experiencing homelessness. Residents stay with us for up to 2 years and during this time we provide person-centred, trauma informed support to each resident, to enable them to achieve their goals and move on to sustainable, independent living.
About the Role
- This Support Worker role involves coordinating support for clients, helping women to identify their personal aims and supporting them to achieving their goals
- Providing dedicated person-centred support to clients, ensuring they access relevant services such as housing benefits and welfare benefits
- Conducting assessments with prospective clients and enrolling them in line with Keychange policies
- Liaising with other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the appropriate support for clients.
- Working as part of a team responsible for the day to day management of the house, and alongside clients, to provide a high quality, positive and safe place to live.
- To assess factors which could impact on the safety of clients or others, and to develop a management plan with the client and other services delivering relevant support.
- To accompany clients to visits and other services where appropriate.
