Job Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
Staff are expected to come into their base office once per week. Staff are also able to flex their start and finish times between the hours of 7am to 7pm daily.
Our Belfast office is located in an historic building in a lively area, close to the Ulster University Belfast campus, cafés, restaurants, shops, and excellent transport links. The building is full of character, blending historic charm with modern, flexible workspaces designed for collaboration and creativity.
About the role
The Direct Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering high-quality direct marketing campaigns that drive income and engagement from individual supporters. Focusing on cash appeals and alternative gifts, this role will manage the planning, delivery, and evaluation of multi-channel campaigns that inspire supporters to give, strengthen loyalty, and maximise return on investment.
About You
You are organised, proactive and experienced in delivering successful direct marketing campaigns across channels such as direct mail and email. With excellent planning and project management skills, you can manage multiple campaigns from concept to completion, working collaboratively with colleagues, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
You have strong analytical and numerical skills, enjoy working with data and databases, and use campaign insights to drive continuous improvement. Comfortable using Excel, Word and CRM or database systems, you're confident managing campaign data, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve supporter engagement and response.
An excellent communicator, you have strong written skills and experience writing and editing compelling email and campaign copy. You build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, working collaboratively while confidently managing priorities, negotiating deadlines and solving problems as they arise.
You're highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership of your work, bring fresh ideas and a creative approach to campaign development, and are always looking for ways to improve results.
Ideally, you'll have experience within the charity sector, individual giving or supporter fundraising, along with an understanding of digital marketing, donor care and audience segmentation. Most importantly, you're motivated by the opportunity to create meaningful campaigns that inspire supporters and make a lasting impact.

The Head of Communications & Public Affairs is a pivotal role at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) promoting our world-leading work in science, conservation, horticulture, and education.
Working as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will lead the organisation’s approach to strategic communications, seeking opportunities to engage external audiences, disseminate key messages, and raise RBGE’s profile on a national and international stage through press and media engagement.

Bow Church is looking for an organised, proactive and relational Operations Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day life, ministry and mission of our church community.
Bow Church is a vibrant community seeking out the abundant life of following Jesus, encountering the Spirit and growing in the Bible – and helping others in Bow to come, belong, serve, give and grow within that story.
Working closely with the Rector and other leaders, you’ll coordinate the practical rhythms of church life, maintain the systems, communication and organisation that enable the life of the church to flourish, help oversee our buildings, events and governance, and support volunteers, ministry leaders and staff.
This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys helping people, systems and activities work well together. You’ll need strong organisational and interpersonal skills, good judgement and the ability to move confidently between practical administration, relationship-building and day-to-day problem-solving.
This is a permanent, flexible three-day-per-week role (21 hours), including some Sundays and occasional evenings as part of the normal rhythm of church life. Salary: £19,200–£21,600 per annum (£32,000–£36,000 FTE), depending on experience.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Edinburgh Skylight as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Crisis Skylight Edinburgh Team. You will be there to welcome people who are homeless seeking advice and start the process of helping them to end their homelessness.
You will support the team to manage a busy working environment, welcoming and supporting a range of people including new Skylight members, current members, staff, Crisis volunteers and visitors. You will provide administrative support for this fast and responsive service to those newly presenting as homeless. You will also carry out administration and housekeeping functions relating to the customer service and facilities management of Cranston House. This role is based onsite with no option for homeworking.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understands the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. You will be able to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building.
