We are working with a well-established UK health charity that is entering a period of transition. They are looking to appoint an Interim Finance Officer for an initial three-month assignment to provide hands-on support across core finance processes.

The role

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will support day-to-day finance operations, with a particular focus on sales ledger, purchase ledger and income processing. You will work within a small team and also work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping to ensure income and expenditure are recorded accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities:

• Sales and purchase ledger processing using an accounting system
• Raising sales invoices and entering purchase invoices, ensuring correct coding and authorisation
• Supporting fortnightly BACS payment runs and issuing remittance advices
• Reviewing credit card usage and checking supporting documentation
• Posting and reconciling bank transactions including invoice payments, direct debits and transfers
• Reconciling income from third-party platforms and payment gateways
• Preparing and checking data in Excel, including running macros where required
• Importing income batches into a fundraising database and processing exceptional items manually
• Maintaining clear audit trails and saving supporting documentation
• Providing ad hoc finance support, including exporting transaction lists for budget holders ahead of a finance committee meeting

• Sales ledger and or purchase ledger experience

About the role

The purposes of the Book Services Coordinator role is to assist the Books and Library Manager in facilitating the charity’s crew’ libraries service and specialist maritime book sales and also to administer all processes and systems involved within Books and library services.

Responsibilities

a. Administration of the functions and systems involved in providing an effective and efficient exchange hardback library or recyclable paperback library service to ships and maritime installations

b. Administrating book order system, and procurement process for all merchandise necessary for the efficient functioning of the Book Services operation.

c. Updating and maintaining the Bookshop website with accurate information and prices.

d. Assisting in the management of the fulfilment of all sales of books/media to customers and external agencies (On-line bookshop, telephone, mail and “walk-in”), and ensure the maintenance of customer service standards

e. Administration of the Library and Book stock control system

We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. The Data Officer for our Finance and Data team will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely data flows into Dynamics CRM and other platforms, supporting Fundraising, Marketing and Communications colleagues to make informed decisions, run effective campaigns and deliver brilliant experiences for our supporters.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for data, problem‑solving, and improving processes to make a real impact across the charity.

You will be responsible for supporting data load tasks by running pre‑defined scripts and updating source files, while also monitoring routine ETL jobs to identify and escalate any failures or irregularities. It includes carrying out basic investigations into data issues and contributing to data cleansing and validation activities to maintain high data quality. You will ensure accurate and complete imports of data from a variety of income sources into our CRM and maintain clear documentation of data processes, helping to improve and streamline data workflows.

5. Updating of database OASIS system, reporting and assistance with

including liaising with our partners for timely payments and

reimbursements. 

7. Support coordination of cash banking and petty cash processing for all

sites.

8. Obtain relevant authorisation for financial transactions.

in a timely fashion.

• Own and lead the charity's data strategy, working collaboratively with senior leadership to shape a forward-looking, insight-driven organisation

THE ROLE

Job Title: Head of CRM

Reports To: Chief Executive

Location: Remote and hybrid working (occasional travel to SportsAid Head Office)

Salary: £60,000 per annum FTE; pro-rated to £36,000 per annum for 3 days/week

Contract: Permanent; part-time

Hours of work: Part-time position, approx. 21 working hours a week (3 days per week), some evening work may be required from time to time, reasonable flexible work options are available.

CONTEXT & PURPOSE OF ROLE

SportsAid is currently implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud as our new organisation-wide CRM platform to strengthen engagement with athletes and their parents/care-givers, supporters and funders, partners, alumni, volunteers and other key stakeholders.  The Head of CRM will provide strategic and operational leadership for the charity’s CRM function.  

Initially the focus of the role will be to realise the value of the implementation, including adoption, embedding ways of working and processes across teams, improving data quality, refining reporting, ensuring good system governance and optimising organisation-wide usage. 

Longer term, the role will develop and lead a CRM roadmap, identifying priorities and enhancements for future development and planning the strategic evolution of our new CRM ecosystem and long-term sustainability of our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud platform.

You will lead organisational change, embed best practice CRM processes, ensure high-quality data governance and maximise the value of CRM insights to support fundraising, programme delivery, marketing, partnerships and impact reporting.

Founded in 1976, SportsAid is a national charity that provides recognition and financial help to emerging young talented sports people – the next generation of British sporting heroes and heroines – often at a crucial time in their personal and sporting development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 CRM Strategy & Leadership

• Champion CRM adoption across all function areas.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on CRM best practice.
• Lead continuous improvement and optimisation of the platform.
• Develop and deliver a multi-year CRM roadmap aligned to organisational strategy.
• Act as Product Owner for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.

 Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Implementation & Optimisation

• Lead final configuration, rollout and optimisation of:

• • Constituent management
  • Fundraising and donation management
  • Grants management
  • Beneficiary engagement
  • Programme and impact tracking

• Configure and manage:

• • Custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types
  • Validation rules and automation
  • Reports and dashboards

• Oversee integrations (eg website forms, email marketing platforms, finance systems, payment gateways).
• Manage sandbox environments, release cycles and change control.
• Liaise with external Salesforce implementation partners where required.

 Data Governance & Compliance

• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

 Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with Salesforce partners and third-party vendors.
• Oversee licence management and budget control.
• Contribute to digital transformation projects across the charity.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 Experience

• Substantial experience of a similar role within a UK charity (essential).
• Experience with:

• • Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot)
  • Experience Cloud
  • Payment integrations (eg Stripe, FinDock)
  • Grants management workflows

• Experience managing small CRM or data teams.
• Understanding of impact measurement frameworks in sport or social change.

Salesforce & Technical Expertise

• Significant experience administering Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (or NPSP).
• Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201); ideally Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
• Strong understanding of:

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (the Trust) is looking for a part-time (0.7 FTE) Head of Outreach.

Our vision is for a world where bumblebees are thriving and valued by everyone.

This role will:

• Lead on the development and implementation of an Outreach Strategy that inspires people and organisations, including policy makers, to take action for bumblebees. (Aim 2 of the Trust’s strategy)
• Lead on behaviour change impact reporting, ensuring data collection methods and tools are fit for purpose, and staff and volunteers have the necessary training and support to confidently report on the impact of face-to-face outreach activities.
• Lead on project development activities and work with the fundraising team to generate income to fund the sustainable growth of the Trust’s outreach activities across the UK.

You will be an excellent communicator and problem solver with experience in managing change and leading and motivating staff and volunteers. You will have a proven track record in securing grant funding and building strong partnerships with third party organisations, as well as experience in monitoring and evaluating the impact of public engagement and volunteering activities, including social and wellbeing impacts and behaviour change.
