About you
We are looking for a passionate fundraiser with keen interest in the charity sector, particularly in humanitarian work. The ideal candidate will have a range of cross-channel experience, ideally in the charity sector and in an Individual Giving team, with a particular focus on retention and engagement activity. We are looking for someone with the passion to drive and improve our retention and engagement campaigns, to critically review campaigns and implement improvements, and to put their own stamp on the role.
About the role
The Senior Individual Giving Executive will play a key part in the delivery of the Individual Giving programme, producing sector-leading comms and campaigns to recruit and retain supporters. You will work closely with the rest of the IG team and the Fundraising and Communications Department to deliver high-quality, data-led campaigns across a range of marketing channels. The role will include campaign delivery, budgeting, strategy and planning, managing relationships with key suppliers and driving continuous campaign improvement.
This role will focus predominantly on retention and engagement activity, with a particular focus on mailings, emails and telemarketing, amongst other channels, though there is flexibility for this to change in the future.

Our University has a proud history of philanthropy stretching back to its foundation in 1900. We are looking for a Prospect Development Officer to join our highly successful prospect development team, working in partnership with our fundraising team to manage their prospect pools and portfolios. The Social Media and Digital Content Manager is central to shaping and delivering the Young Vic's social media and digital content strategies. This role will take ownership of the Young Vic’s social media channels, promoting the full scope of programming and projects and bringing the Young Vic’s brand and tone of voice to life for our online audiences. It will also lead the Young Vic's approach to digital storytelling and video content, finding innovative ways to engage new audiences in our programming and bring them closer to the artistic visions and processes behind our work. Cultivating digital partnerships is also key to this role; helping bring the Young Vic to new audiences.
Essential Skills
A strategic, pro-active and creative approach to social media and digital content
Sound knowledge and experience of managing social platforms
Experience briefing and booking freelance creatives, and producing video content
Experience managing social media campaigns and successfully driving reach and engagement online.
Proven copywriting and editorial skills
Experience using social media planning and publishing software, including Meta Business Suite
Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and a strong belief in inclusive content creation
A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational and project management skills, and confidence in managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. Impeccable accuracy and strong attention to detail.
A collaborative approach, with the ability to engage multiple levels of stakeholders.

Experience managing budgets
You will be building great relationships with our Corporate members and involving them with the work of the trust and inspiring them to support our range of inspiring projects. You will use your networking skills at events to proactively find new corporate supporters, and retain our existing supporters by running corporate events on our nature reserves across the county. You will further develop our corporate volunteering offering, working closely with our land management team, creating great days out for our supporters’ employees that they’ll recommend to their colleagues.
You will be an active member of the Fundraising team, sharing skills and ideas at regular meetings. The role will require extensive travel throughout the county, visiting networking events and arranging relationships between corporates and our wildlife projects, such as the Rye Harbour Discovery Centre. You will have a creative and innovative approach to the role, working on new ways to secure support from businesses from across the county. You will enjoy getting involved in fundraising events that include that whole fundraising department to create new income streams for the trust.

As our current CEO steps down after five successful years, we are looking for an outstanding candidate to lead our charity in the next stage of its development.
As Chief Executive Officer you will provide strategic and operational leadership to our well-established community charity, ensuring that our activities and projects continue to meet the changing needs of our local community.
You will work closely with the board of trustees to shape the next stage of our charity’s development. You will lead our staff team and ensure that all the resources and structures are in place that allow them and the charity to flourish. This means successfully securing grant funding, leading our community fundraising efforts, ensuring the charity meets its legal and regulatory obligations, managing the operational finances, and building effective partnerships within the local voluntary, community, and faith sector.
You will be equally comfortable writing a funding bid, supporting a member of staff, navigating a spreadsheet, working directly with beneficiaries, and providing concise and accessible reports to trustees and stakeholders. This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. Your work will make a real difference to the lives of those we support and this is what makes it so rewarding.

St Christopher’s Hospice was founded in 1967 by Dame Cicely Saunders, and became the first hospice of the modern hospice movement. We provide invaluable care and support to over 7,500 people across the five London Boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.
The work of the hospice extends beyond care to the local community. St Christopher’s Professional Learning offer continues to advance national and global leadership in palliative care through a range of impactful initiatives. Other programmes include supporting and shaping palliative care leaders of the future.
The fundraising team generates more than £10m every year, around half of which comes through gifts left to the charity as legacies. We organise a programme of appeals, campaigns and events, administer our own lottery, make applications to charitable foundations, engage with local business and support individuals who give in-memory of a loved one. This is delivered by a strong employed fundraising team, supported by a number of wonderful volunteers.
Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Trusts and Grants Fundraiser to join our friendly and dedicated team.
If you are detail oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with confidence — and if you’re motivated by making a real difference to end of life care for patients across five London boroughs and beyond — this could be the perfect role for you.
In this hands-on position, you will have the opportunity to shape and grow our income from trusts, foundations and charitable funders. You will be responsible for researching, writing and submitting high quality funding applications, nurturing relationships with existing supporters, identifying new funding opportunities, and ensuring that all communications reflect our mission and impact.
