The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives. 

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK. 

Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.

Purpose of the Job 

To focus on the growth and sustainability of the FareShare Go programme; through maximising relationships and adding value to create the best experience for the charity and store community in your designated area.  
 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Liaison with store or retailer personnel to ensure positive charity experience and issue resolution

Is this the right position for you?

We’re looking for a Head of Communications & Marketing to advance greater public understanding of humanism by reaching new and growing audiences. The role also comes with strategic responsibility for improving brand awareness and driving sales for key products and brands, including Humanist Ceremonies (non-religious weddings, funerals, and naming ceremonies), the award-winning New Humanist magazine (est. 1885), podcasts, books, and a nationwide programme of prestige events and festivals.

This is a senior role with real scope. You will lead our communications team across print, digital, events, and marketing, and make sure what we put out is clear, compelling, consistent, and rooted in our purpose. As well as marketing, this role has responsibility for content, including for our website and social media channels, making sure these are updated with high-quality, accessible, engaging, and well-optimised educational and brand-building materials pitched at a range of target audiences.

This role is about leadership as much as delivery. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clear organisational communications grid, and for working closely with colleagues across the organisation, particularly the Head of Press & Campaign Communications and the Head of Fundraising, to make sure our messaging, brand, and tone are joined up and effective.

You will be at your best when working to ambitious but achievable KPIs and making strategic decisions on the basis of evidence, including open and clickthrough rates, A/B testing, site behaviour and visit numbers, sales conversions, surveys, and feedback.

If you don't have experience at this level already you will need to be able to showcase to us – both at interview, and in your application – that you have significant experience of decision-making for communications or marketing in a complex organisation. You’ll also need to convince us of your ability to balance leading on strategy with hands-on problem-solving. You’ll be comfortable setting priorities, making judgement calls, and giving clear direction to your direct reports, while also collaborating well across departments and supporting less experienced staff to do their best work. We’re looking for someone who can think long-term, but who also cares about the details and the day-to-day reality of getting communications right.

The role will lead and manage communications across Mission 44’s brand and corporate partnerships, acting as the primary contact and fostering long-term, trusted relationships. Requirements

BRAND & FUNDRAISING COMMUNICATIONS (70%) 

• Manage communications across Mission 44’s portfolio of brand and corporate partners, serving as the primary contact.
• Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with partners to strengthen engagement and impact.
• Develop and implement integrated communications plans (owned, earned, paid and shared) that support brand growth, income generation and organisational objectives.
• Identify and deliver compelling storytelling opportunities that highlight shared initiatives and drive visibility of the partnership. 
• Collaborate closely with Events, Partnerships, and Philanthropy teams to create donor-facing materials, campaign messaging, and communications support for key activities and moments.
• Work in partnership with Lewis Hamilton Ventures to maximise strategic partnership opportunities and amplify Mission 44’s impact.

MEDIA RELATIONS (20%)

• Account manage the day-to-day relationship with Mission 44’s media agency, ensuring the delivery of high quality media coverage (reactive and proactive) to meet organisational objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key media contacts where necessary. 
• Monitor, evaluate and report on media coverage and performance, delivering regular insight and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
• Support crisis communications and reputational risk management as required.
• Work closely with the founder’s brand and communications team on joint high-profile press moments.

TALENT ENGAGEMENT (10%) 

• Support talent engagement including strategy development, recruitment and ongoing engagement.
• Work cross-teams to identify and deliver opportunities for talent involvement across communications, fundraising, campaigns and partnerships.
• Support key moments where talent can meaningfully amplify Mission 44’s mission and impact.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on talent engagement activity to inform future strategy.

ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Job Title: Estate Officer, East Anglia

 Overall job purpose

The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.

The post holder will be the main contact for all maintenance related matters and will maintain the property management records for the estate, develop volunteer projects and training on maintenance reporting and conservation cleaning and will assist with fundraising.

The organisation is seeking a motivated and inspiring leader full of energy and ideas to lead and grow fundraising. The Interim Head of Development will lead the delivery of the fundraising strategy and will support any capital fundraising campaign planning for the future, while also liaising and reporting to the Board of Trustees where appropriate. The postholder will be responsible for generating all fundraised income (c. £1m per annum currently) from corporates, individuals and trusts and foundations, which represents approximately 26% of the organisation’s total income. The postholder will lead the Development Team and will report to the Director.

The selected candidate will have a demonstrable track record of successful fundraising including major donor fundraising and writing successful grant applications. You will have the ability to combine strategic thinking with attention to detail and will ideally have worked in the arts and culture sector, understanding its nuances and donor motivations, before.

Technology sits at the heart of how we deliver that mission—and we’re looking for a Senior IT Manager who can take us into our next chapter. You’ll have the autonomy to set direction, make decisions, and build an IT environment that’s robust, secure, and future‑ready. 

A natural collaborator you’ll support cross organisational projects, taking the lead on all IT initiatives, alongside supporting staff to upskill across a range of IT packages.

This is the ideal role for someone who can see the big picture while happily keeping the day‑to‑day operations running smoothly. 

Experience required 

You’ll have previous experience of: 

• Management of digital systems, in particular Microsoft 365 

• Digital project management/rollout of digital systems 

• Providing IT/digital support to multiple teams across an organisation 

• Management and development of good relationships with external IT support services and suppliers

• Co-ordinating training for multiple teams, and mitigate against the risk of cyber attacks

• Involvement with management of digital systems (CRM, website) 

• Cybersecurity systems and training 

• Drafting IT policies/documentation

About the role

The Operations Manager sits at the very heart of TLG, working closely with the Executive Director to turn vision into reality and ensure the organisation runs smoothly at every level. From trustee board and governance rhythms, through the leadership team, and out across the whole organisation, this role is pivotal in holding together the systems, structures and environments that enable TLG to flourish.

A non-profit animal welfare organisation in Bali, with a team of approximately 70 staff and multiple operational programs, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and strengthen our financial management and administrative systems.

About the Role

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organisation, ensuring strong financial integrity, compliance, and transparency. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both experienced oversight and operational involvement.

The successful candidate will manage the finance and co-ordinate with the administration teams, work closely with external tax advisors and auditors, and ensure that the organisation maintains the highest standards of financial accountability to donors, partners, and regulatory authorities.

Living and working in Bali is required. 
 

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring clear processes.
• Ensure all income and expenditures are accurately coded and allocated to the correct projects, departments, and donor funds.
• Oversee financial data management and ensure accurate accounting across multiple accounts and programs.
• Support the development and strengthening of financial systems and procedures.

Financial Reporting & Budgeting

• Prepare regular financial reports and statements for organisational leadership.
• Monitor program budgets and track expenditure against approved budgets.
• Support organisational management and leadership with financial planning and program budgeting.

Controls, Compliance & Risk Management

• Implement and monitor  internal financial controls to safeguard organisational assets and prevent errors.
• Ensure full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, labour laws, and international NGO reporting standards.
• Lead preparation for internal and external audits, maintaining high levels of financial transparency and accountability.
• Work closely with external tax consultants and auditors to ensure all reporting obligations are met.

Financial Operations & Procurement

• Oversee organisational banking operations

About the Applicant

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance or financial management
• Experience managing teams and supervising staff
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience working with multiple budgets, programs, and funding streams
• Experience preparing for audits and working with external auditors
• Excellent data management and analytical skills
• Comfortable navigating local financial systems and administrative processes in Indonesia
