Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis. This role sits at the heart of Endometriosis UK working closely with the Community Engagement and Volunteer Manager, Support and Information Administrator and our Volunteer Coordinators based in England and Wales to facilitate the delivery of our support services through our network of volunteers.

At Endometriosis UK, our team of close to 200 trained volunteers are at the very heart of what we do. The empathy, generosity and commitment of our volunteers enables us to run all our support services, ensuring we can help and support all those affected by endometriosis.

The Scottish Development Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring we support and grow a thriving volunteer network, this involves working with the team to recruit, mobilise and inspire volunteers in their chosen roles. The Scottish Development Coordinator will ensure volunteers are supported at every stage of their journey to ensure those accessing our support services are well supported whilst ensuring the volunteer contributions are recognised and their achievements celebrated.

The post holder will help to expand our reach in Scotland to help raise the charity’s profile and ensure we are delivering vital supportive services to everyone affected by in Scotland this includes work with the wider team to develop exciting new projects to achieve our ambitious goals.

Location: Home-based in Scotland 

This is a practical, hands-on leadership role at the heart of Richmond CVS’s work with local charities and community groups. The postholder will lead our support to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough – helping them to grow stronger and more sustainable.

The main focus of the role is to strengthen the fundraising skills and income generation of local organisations, alongside providing high-quality advice on governance, planning and strategy. The role requires curiosity, creativity and strong problem-solving skills to help organisations find practical solutions to real-world challenges.

Richmond CVS already works with a range of experienced consultants and trainers and has an established suite of training resources. The postholder is not expected to be an expert in every aspect of charity management. A key part of the role is to coordinate and facilitate this support, drawing on specialist expertise where needed, while providing direct advice particularly in relation to fundraising and the fundamentals of good governance.

Working with a small, passionate team, you will deliver support, facilitate learning and manage projects that make a real difference to grassroots groups.

Key Responsibilities

Organisational Support 

· Provide practical tailored advice and support to VCSE organisations on governance, fundraising, income generation, and strategic planning.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a Head of Partnerships & Events to join our highly successful Philanthropy team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Corporate and Special Events Programme. This is very much a hands-on role of team leadership and direct account management. This includes six figure partners and our key relationships with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, The Dorchester Hotel and international insurer Fidelis. Special Events include our Winter Ball which raises over £500k annual and our Golf Day at around £100k. The post-holder has a key role in the management of our Philanthropy & Corporate Board, which bring together industry leader to help move both these programmes forward. There is great freedom to innovate and a healthy pool of local business with an affinity to our cause. The post-holder takes a key leadership role across fundraising and marketing, working with their peers (Heads) and Director to take strategic decisions for wider benefit of the department. Beyond Reflections is a UK charity providing dedicated mental-wellbeing support to Trans+ people, as well as to their families,

friends, and allies. We offer a combination of group support, one-to-one services, and therapeutic interventions delivered by experienced case workers, counsellors, and therapists.

Our work spans both online and in-person settings, ensuring support is accessible, confidential, and rooted in compassion.

Essential Desirable

We are seeking an enterprising, organised individual to join Akshaya Patra UK as our Supporter Engagement Officer. The role is a joyfully versatile one which requires planning, coordination, and a strong 'make it happen' attitude. As the first point of contact for supporters, community groups, and partners, the candidate will ensure every interaction, whether by phone, email, social media, or in-person, is positive, timely, and professional.

A key part of the role will be to build and grow volunteer chapters across the UK, developing local champions who increase awareness and funds for Akshaya Patra. Even as the candidate will invite new supporters to join our mission, managing supporter relationships with a defined portfolio of donors, monitoring income, and contributing to data analysis related to supporter engagement and projects is a key part of the role. In addition, maintaining the inventory of supporter engagement tools and merchandise, ensuring materials are organised, available, and effectively used to inspire supporters.

Knowledge of British culture and geography is welcome, while familiarity with India, its regions, and Indian languages is an added advantage. You will attend meetings and events in London and other parts of the UK as required, with the flexibility to work remotely at other times. The role will play an important part in shaping our future plans and helping us grow our income and impact in the years ahead.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supporter enquiries, building strong relationships and offering excellent stewardship at every stage.
• Adopt an enterprising, creative mindset to engage a wide variety of donors and community groups across the UK, thinking innovatively about supporter involvement.
• Send timely thank-you messages, acknowledgements, and fulfilment communications, ensuring supporters feel valued and informed.

About the Role:

The Fundraising Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in building relationships, boosting community participation, and supporting fundraising initiatives for Kids Operating Room.

This position will concentrate on outreach, donor reporting, event coordination, and partnership growth across sectors, including universities, civic organisations, schools, and community groups. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Centre for Global Operations (CfGO) Tours & Visitor Engagement 

· Act as the primary host for CfGO tours, ensuring they are engaging and aligned with fundraising objectives. 

· Manage tour logistics, including bookings, team and material preparation, and visitor follow-up, to include companies. 

Community Fundraising & Engagement 

· Respond to inbound community fundraising enquiries and provide stewardship to supporters. 

· Develop fundraising packs, storytelling materials, and social media assets. 

· Develop outreach for community events and fundraising initiatives. 

· Build and maintain regional relationships with clubs, organisations, and faith groups. 

· Track community fundraising pipeline and assist with income forecasting.

Universities & Student Engagement 

· Represent Kids Operating Room at freshers’ fairs, university events, and student conferences. 

· Build partnerships with societies, medical groups, and RAG committees. 

· Coordinate guest lectures, student fundraising activities, and campus collaborations. 

Rotary Clubs & Civic Organisations 

· Organise and deliver presentations to Rotary clubs, church groups, and civic societies. 

· Expand Rotary engagement across Scotland and develop district-level opportunities. 

· Create a calendar of civic presentations and nurture ‘Civic Champions.’ 

Schools Outreach 

· Organise & deliver assemblies and classroom talks to inspire student involvement. 

· Support simple school fundraising activities such as sponsored events and bake sales. 

· Develop and distribute a comprehensive ‘Schools Pack.’ 

Trusts & Foundations Research Support 

· Update and expand research lists for trusts and foundations. 

· Conduct initial prospect research and draft letters of intent or applications. 

· Prepare briefing notes for meetings and identify fundraising opportunities at events. 

Event Support 

· Assist with KidsOR events, including breakfasts, civic engagements, and CfGO visits. 

· Manage guest lists and represent the organisation at public events when required. 

CRM & Administrative Support 

· Log outreach activities and maintain accurate records. 

· Pass warm community contacts to the Individual Giving Manager for stewardship. 

· Track civic group calendars and manage follow-up cycles. 

· Undertake reconciliation of CRM

· Apply for Gift Aid 

· Writing thank you letters for donors 

Reporting 

· Support and develop the standardisation of reporting processes for trusts and foundations, including scholarship fund updates. 

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

· Ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse groups.
