Job description

Use your skills to make a real difference for local families facing hardship. As a  Assessor with Citizens Advice Peterborough working with Peterborough Foodbanks, you’ll be the friendly, confident face at Foodbank sessions approaching clients, listening to what’s going on, and helping them take their next step forward.

This is a hands‑on, in‑person role delivered at Peterborough Foodbank locations, where your ability to talk to people, build trust quickly, and work closely with Foodbank volunteers matters more than previous advice experience.

We’ll train you to use Citizens Advice resources so you can provide information, signposting and support that helps tackle the issues behind food poverty.

If you’re compassionate, confident starting conversations, and motivated to help people move out of crisis, this role is perfect for you.
