About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Head of Supporter Insight and Experience to lead WWF-UK’s understanding of its supporters and ensure that insight is consistently used to shape strategy, journeys and decisions across the organisation.

In this role, you’ll lead and shape WWF UK’s supporter insight and experience, owning the frameworks, intelligence and evidence that guide organisational strategy, supporter journeys, investment decisions, product development and innovation. You’ll build and develop a cross organisational insight capability in a new Supporter Experience Directorate - integrating qualitative research, quantitative analysis, audience segmentation, digital analytics and journey intelligence.

You will play a key change leadership role, embedding insight led ways of working across Fundraising, Communications, Digital and Technology, and championing a shared understanding of supporter needs and behaviours. A core part of the role is driving digital experience improvement and working collaboratively across teams to inform system development, UX design and experience innovation.

Skills and experience

You’ll bring the skills and experience needed to succeed in this role, including:

• Proven experience leading organisation-wide qualitative, quantitative and digital insight programmes

• Strong understanding of supporter or customer behaviours, needs and motivations, with proven experience in supporter segmentation and audience frameworks, as well as journey analysis, mapping and reporting.

• Experience of leading innovation pipelines, including developing business cases for improvements or investment and managing initiatives, from concept to delivery.

• Strategic insight leadership and communication skills, able to turn complex evidence into clear organisational direction, priorities and recommendations.

• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and embed insight led ways of working across fundraising, communications, technology and product teams.

• Strong people leadership skills, with experience building, leading and supporting insight, research or innovation teams.

• Proven ability to deliver insight and experience improvements in a fundraising, membership, charity or purpose led context (B2C and/or B2B).

• Degree level qualification, or equivalent experience, demonstrating strong capability in insight, data, digital, marketing or analytical disciplines.

Job description

Stella Maris is the official maritime charity of the Catholic Church.  We are looking for a Regional Port Chaplain for Immingham and the South Humber Ports to support seafarers, fishers and their families.

In this unique and rewarding role, you'll be the welcoming face of Stella Maris in your region, visiting ships, listening to crew members, and offering practical, pastoral and spiritual support to anyone in need, regardless of faith or background.

About the role

No two days are the same.  You might spend the morning visiting ships and listening to crew members' stories, help someone contact their family back home, support a seafarer in crisis, or offer a quiet moment of prayer on deck.

You'll also recruit and support a team of volunteers, work closely with other maritime charities and local partners, and build strong relationships with parishes, dioceses, and port authorities.  You'll be part of a nationwide network of Stella Maris chaplains, supported through regular meetings, retreats and professional development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Visit ships regularly to meet seafarers and fishers, responding to their pastoral, practical and spiritual needs.
• Provide practical help such as transport, communication access, and emergency or crisis support.
• Offer spiritual care to Catholic seafarers and facilitate the religious needs of those from other faiths.
• Recruit, train and support Stella Maris volunteers.
• Work collaboratively with other maritime charities.
• Maintain strong relationships with local parishes, the Diocese of Nottingham, and port stakeholders such as the Harbour Master, shipping agents and welfare committees.

About you

You'll be someone who takes joy in helping others.  You don't need maritime experiences, what matters most is your empathy and ability to offer pastoral support in practical ways.

Legacies form a key source of income for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), raising around £100m a year for our life saving research. 

As a Legacy Officer, you’ll manage and protect this income, optimising the BHF’s income from gifts in Wills.

Joining a thriving team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of legacies in accordance with the law, best practice and BHF’s processes and procedures. You'll manage your own caseload of largely residuary legacies. You will answer enquiries from solicitors and individuals in connection with bequests and assist in all matters relating to the department’s work.

About you
 
You'll either have experience in legacy management within the charities legacy sector; or be a Qualified private client Solicitor; or be a Qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners; or be a Qualified Chartered Legal Executive with experience of Wills and probate.

A self-starter with excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills, you'll bring proven experience of working within private client / legacy management. You’ll have a high level of empathy able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and contacts.

With high levels of financial numeracy, previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, and excellent IT skills, you’ll also have excellent attention to detail with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload and deliver to deadlines.

Working arrangements

Due to continued growth of Investors in the Environment (iiE), we are seeking a proactive and commercially minded individual to support the expansion of the iiE membership base nationally. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ experience in sales, marketing or business development who enjoys building relationships, closing opportunities and working in a purpose-driven organisation.

Purpose of role:

iiE is a national environmental accreditation scheme designed to help businesses reduce their impact on the environment through practical, engaging measures.

The successful applicant will be responsible for driving membership growth through proactive sales activity, targeted marketing campaigns and strong relationship management. The role combines strategic marketing delivery with confident prospect engagement,  moving organisations from initial enquiry through to membership sign-up and onboarding.

Working collaboratively across the iiE team, the role holder will help generate a strong and consistent sales funnel, guide prospective members through their on boarding journey, and contribute directly to the growth of the scheme.

Based: Two days per week based at Ham Lane House, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU, with flexible home working available depending on organisational and role requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Work proactively with the PECT Marketing Manager to design and deliver inspiring, targeted marketing campaigns that generate high-quality leads and grow the iiE sales funnel.
• Take ownership of campaign activity across email, website, social media and partnerships to attract new prospective members.
• Develop compelling marketing content including newsletters, sector-specific collateral, case studies, graphics and digital content that clearly communicate the benefits of iiE.
• Identify press, partnership and promotional opportunities that raise iiE’s profile and bring new organisations into the pipeline.
• Track campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement and lead conversion.
• Support the sales process by following up leads generated through campaigns, events and initial calls undertaken by other members of the team.
• Confidently guide prospective members through the accreditation process, clearly articulating the practical, financial and reputational benefits of iiE.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system, tracking pipeline progress and conversion data.
• Work proactively to improve and automate the member journey within the CRM system.
• Contribute ideas to streamline internal processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Represent iiE confidently at events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
• Support planning, promotion and delivery of iiE events and webinars.

Responsibilities include but are not exhaustive

• Provide visible interim leadership for the Trust’s business development function, setting clear priorities and ways of working, and coordinating contribution from service, operational, clinical and corporate colleagues.
• Develop and maintain a Trust-wide opportunity pipeline (tenders, frameworks, spot-purchase growth, strategic partnerships and other commissioned income routes), including qualification, prioritisation, and clear next steps.
• Lead proactive engagement with commissioners, local authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS partners and other stakeholders to understand demand, shape specifications where appropriate, and position the Trust effectively.
• Own the end-to-end bid process: establish bid plans, coordinate contributors, draft and quality-assure responses, and ensure submissions are compliant, persuasive, and submitted on time.

• Champion the Together Trust’s vision, mission and values, and role model the Trust’s behaviours.

About You
