The Role
As a Stop Smoking Specialist, you will help to deliver our stop smoking service and underpin our commitment to support people to stop smoking and reduce the risk of cancer. You will provide specialist advice and support to our service users around tobacco addiction and provide evidence-based approaches in line with national guidance and good practice to help them to quit smoking.
Supporting the Services Manager and Head of Services, you will be vital in the implementation of our strategy to ensure people in Yorkshire receive the best prevention, diagnosis and treatment. You will deliver evidence-based stop smoking interventions to patients referred into the service, providing support, advice and guidance either face to face, virtually or by telephone to maximise quitting outcomes. You will work as part of a team to respond to referrals and work with our Active Together Services, which are being rolled out across Yorkshire, and NHS Trusts where we fund in patient smoking cessation programmes.
Specifically, you will:
· Autonomously deliver smoking cessation assessments, advice and support, minimising harm from tobacco and health-related issues in line with best guidance and protocols.
· Undertake client assessments, making appropriate pharmacotherapy decisions, provide ongoing client support and undertake 4 and 12 week follow-ups.
· Advise on stop smoking medications to patients, including all forms of NRT, vapes (e.cigarettes) as well as non-nicotine treatments.
· Manage a stock of NRT and Vaping Starter kits.
· Help patients who smoke to quit, communicating in a sensitive, client centred manner.
· Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the service, including the completion of the minimum data set aligned to NHS England mandatory requirements. This will include following up with patients following discharge to monitor stop smoking outcomes.
· Manage caseload of patients and be responsible for all associated tasks, including follow-up appointments, and managing diary commitments.
· Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear verbal, digital or written information and instructions when sharing information, delegating, or handing over responsibility for care to ensure that smoking cessation records are kept up to date and accurate.
· Work collaboratively and co-operatively with other members of the team and observe operational policy and procedures requirements.
· Work with the Services Manager and Head of Services to ensure that public and patient insight and involvement is captured, which will shape the development, delivery and evaluation of our service to make sure they are patient centred.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
· To be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths.
· To be National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) Level 2 trained.
· To have demonstrable evidence of continuing professional development.
· To have intermediate theoretical knowledge of stop smoking support, gained through Level 2 NCSCT.
· To have substantial experience of providing smoking cessation support in a stop smoking service with good levels of quit rates.
· To have experience of working in Health and Social Care setting or community.
· To have experience of providing healthcare, healthcare advice or health improvement/promotion advice to patients or members of the public.
· To have experience of using Microsoft Office software and patient management systems such as Quit Manager.
· To have proven IT skills, including data entry, accurate reporting of agreed care plans, and experience using IT infrastructure to support effective handover of care.
· To have good knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice in stopping smoking, the consequences of smoking and the benefits of quitting.
· To be able to build and maintain good working relationships with professionals/individuals from different professional/cultural backgrounds.

The Role
The Social Media Manager is responsible for all aspects of Global Witness’s social media presence, including day-to-day channel management, content creation, paid social campaigns and influencer/creator engagement. You will work with colleagues from within the Communications team and across the whole organisation to ensure our social media content contributes to our awareness, advocacy and income goals, while remaining aligned with our brand and values. Who we are looking for
• Substantial experience managing organisational social media accounts across multiple platforms, including content creation, scheduling and community management.

About the Role
The Public and Private Finance Specialist will provide specialist technical leadership on WASH financing strategy, structuring and investor engagement within the National Water Compact Delivery Accelerator.
The role is responsible for ensuring that priority WASH projects are financially credible, appropriately structured and aligned with the requirements of public, concessional and where relevant private finance providers, enabling formal entry into financing appraisal and investment pipelines.
In this role, you will:

Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, this newly created role offers the chance to support the delivery of our new Fundraising and Partnership Strategy (2025–2029) by helping to grow our community of supporters, increase individual digital giving and deepen engagement with corporate partners. We also welcome your ideas and experience in developing how we might approach digital fundraising.
Working closely with the Director of Partnerships, this role will lead on community fundraising development and provide hands-on coordination of partnership activities, from employee volunteering and group sessions to corporate fundraising events and payroll giving. The role will also contribute to communications and marketing content.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships and Engagement
Support the Director of Partnerships in managing and delivering high-quality partnership activities, including:
Organising employee volunteering sessions – including mapping / tracking volunteer hours and activities (where possible)
Organising and supporting group visits, insight events, and work experience placements (as needed)
Work closely with NHP colleagues, Local House Project staff and partners to develop impactful partnership activities
Fundraising activities and events organised by corporate partners
Liaise with LHPs to coordinate partnership activity across different regions.
Maintain accurate partnership records and activity tracking in NHP’s CRM.
Communications and Collaboration
Work closely with the Business Support Administrator and Admin Team to create and share communications and marketing materials that promote partnership activities, volunteering, and fundraising opportunities.
Support the preparation of partnership updates, impact stories, and social media content.
Contribute to internal communications about partnership successes and learning.
Support the rest of the NHP team from time to time, as required.
Community Fundraising, Individual Giving and Supporter Engagement
Plan, deliver and evaluate a calendar of community fundraising activities and events (third party) to build NHP’s supporter base, ensuring income and engagement targets are met. (We plan to have 2 community fundraising events a year, and support those our corporate partners organise).
Recruit, brief and support challenge event participants, fundraisers and corporate teams undertaking community activities.
Develop toolkits and resources to empower supporters (fundraising packs, JustGiving Guides and risk assessments)
Support the Business Support Administrator to manage the stock, ordering and distribution of fundraising materials to ensure event participants are equipped and engaged.
Support the Director of Partnerships to lead the event logistics (registrations, supplier liaison, risk assessments, volunteer coordination, on the day delivery and post event follow up)
Provide guidance, resources, and encouragement to individuals and groups fundraising on behalf of NHP.
Support the development of our long-term individual goals (one-off donations and regular giving via our website)
Coordinate fundraising communications, updates, and impact stories to strengthen donor engagement and retention.
Track and evaluate community fundraising and individual giving performance and supporter feedback.
Maintain accurate CRM records of donor giving/community fundraising
Support with sharing best practice and resources that enable local teams to engage effectively with partners and supporters
