Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Stage 2 complaint reviews to Ombudsman-compliant standards.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential

• Clear and uninterrupted Stage 2 review / Ombudsman-level experience within a registered social landlord.
• Strong working knowledge of the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code and its practical application.
• Understanding of tenancy and leasehold agreements, landlord/resident obligations, and the serviceexpectations of a large G15 provider.
• Proven ability to investigate independently, apply critical thinking, and produce high-quality written decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy, manage expectations, and advocate appropriately for residents.

Desirable

• Experience reviewing complaints within a large-scale housing organisation (tens of thousands of homes).
• Knowledge of complex housing services (repairs, ASB, allocations, tenancy management, etc.)

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We offer a range of high-quality services to young people aged up to 25, including information and support on a “drop in” basis, mental health services, counselling, housing and financial advice, sexual health support and support for young carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ service in a Team Lead role.  The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our North Locality – in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech. The Team Lead will work closely with the other Team Leads and Heads of Service to jointly ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a Mental Health, or youth work role, and with experience of managing people.  The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s mental health support offer for young people aged 13-25 years, leading the teams delivering counselling and the wider, flexible emotional wellbeing offer. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.  They will develop strong relationships with local organisations and statutory services to ensure effective joint working and support for young people.  This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will hold only a limited ongoing, regular case load.

About the role

Since Crick’s inception in 2015, its external funding portfolio has steadily grown and diversified with funding now received from a broad range of national and international funding bodies, each with their own regulations, policies and conditions.

As Senior Manager – Post-Award Grant Compliance, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the Crick’s continued adherence to funder terms and conditions. You’ll lead the development and implementation of robust post-award grant processes, working across internal teams to provide expert guidance on compliance and regulatory requirements. Acting as the primary point of contact for external funding bodies, you’ll maintain a deep understanding of funder policies and ensure that grants and contracts are managed accordingly.  As an experienced post-award professional, you will have familiarity with business-as-usual research finance practices including project reconciliation using general ledger reports, funder invoicing, journal posting, budgeting, income recognition and other month-end processes.

As a senior member of the Finance and Grants team, you’ll also provide leadership support by deputising for the Post-Award Team Lead when required, a responsibility that could lead to future opportunities for line management. The Avenues Youth Project (AYP) is an exceptional West London youth club that guides disadvantaged children and young people to explore and develop new skills, connect with their peers and our trusted staff, and find their confidence. We offer fun and meaningful after-school and holiday activities led by trained youth workers. Our facilities include training kitchen, music recording studio, podcasting studio, arts and craft room, sports hall and classrooms.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the HR Manager is a standalone role and will lead on the operational delivery of HR initiatives and will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle across our youth centre, ensuring the organisation remains an inclusive and supportive employer. 

The HR Manager will also manage HR systems compliance, while supporting strategic projects that embed best practice and innovation across the organisation.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Purpose / WHY? 

The Carers Wellbeing Worker will support unpaid carers across Bridgend to establish ‘What Matters’ to them and provide bespoke, person-centred information, advice and guidance to those accessing our services, including, one 2 one support, group work and activities, as well as signposting and referring to relevant agencies for additional support including working with the unpaid carer to complete a proportionate carers assessment to help them on their caring journey. 

Working with the senior Carers Wellbeing worker to develop and deliver of a targeted outreach support programme, building on existing partnership working and connecting carers to community resources, preventing the need for escalation to statutory services. 

Key Responsibilities / WHAT? 

• To be the key contact for all enquiries around the Bridged Carers Wellbeing Service, including monitoring referrals, Bridgend Carers Wellbeing inbox, telephone or online enquiries and referrals through WCCIS. 

• To identify, engage with and support individuals who may be in an informal unpaid caring role including carers from seldom heard groups. 

• To work with unpaid carers and assist them to articulate ‘what matters to them’, their desired outcomes and signpost / refer individuals to relevant support service to enable them to achieve those outcomes within their own communities. 

• Undertaking proportionate carers assessments and reviews – identifying areas of need or change and producing support plans, to achieve outcomes that support the carer to become self-reliant and build a network of support. 

• To deliver a regular programme of outreach and engagement events, taking Bridgend Carers Wellbeing services into the community and working in partnership with carers support services. Feeding back suggestions and ideas to the Senior Carers Wellbeing worker to support development of targeted outreach across Bridgend. 

• To work with key stakeholders including Bridgend Council, Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, Third Sector, and other external organisations across Bridgend, in a professional manner. 

• Accurate and timely recording and reporting on CRM to support with monitoring requirements.

Head of Community Sponsorship Role 

This is a rare opportunity to lead Citizens UK’s community sponsorship campaign and help build the movement that will be at the heart of a community-led welcome.

This new role comes at an exciting and crucial time, as we seek to build and embed this new form of named community sponsorship in the UK. We are excited to be seeking a talented and motivated individual to join Southampton Hospitals Charity as our Grants Manager.

This role will provide the right candidate with a rare opportunity to implement, embed and oversee the delivery of the Charity’s £2.5 million dedicated grant programmes from pre to post award.

Covering four programmes (Patient Care, Research & Development, Clinical Innovation and Staff Education & Improvement), the post holder will be responsible for managing circa £2.5M of expenditure each year, ensuring they deliver impact for patients, staff and donors.

• Short Breaks Scheme – Bridgend
• Carers Trust Grants 
delivering targeted financial education, support, and direct grants for unpaid carers in financial hardship or in need 
of a short break. The service aims to address both immediate financial need and support long-term financial 
resilience for carers.
Key Responsibilities / WHAT?
Service Delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for all financial wellbeing and grants-related enquiries.
• Conduct research to provide up-to-date information and practical guidance to help unpaid carers maximise 
their income.
• Deliver benefits checks using Money Helper tools and support carers in navigating the welfare system.
• Provide tailored financial guidance, signposting to appropriate services, and assisting carers with benefits 
and grant applications.
• Plan, prepare, and chair regular grant panel meetings, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
• Communicate grant decisions to carers and arrange timely award payments.
• Actively identify, engage, and support unpaid carers, including those from seldom heard or marginalised 
communities.
• Support carers in articulating their financial goals and refer them to relevant services such as the Vale 
Unpaid Carers Hub, Cardiff Independent Living Service or Bridgend Carers Wellbeing Service.
Monitoring and Administration
• Maintain accurate and timely records on TuVida’s CRM system, supporting monitoring and reporting 
requirements.
• Oversee the grant budget in collaboration with the finance team, ensuring monthly reconciliation and robust 
tracking of expenditure.
• Contribute to contractual reporting and outcomes tracking.
Awareness and Engagement
• Promote the service across social media, online platforms, and through outreach work, with a focus on 
increasing access and income maximisation for unpaid carers.
• Represent the service at events such as Young Carers Action Day, Carers Rights Day, and Carers Week, 
promoting carer awareness and increasing engagement.
Service Development
• Engage with stakeholders, carers, and community partners to review and shape the development of the 
service.
• Actively contribute to team meetings, supervisions, and service reviews, sharing insight to improve 
outcomes for carers.
• Operate within TuVida’s policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, equality, and diversity.
Culture 
• Role model behaviour with volunteers and wider staff team consistent with the values of the organisation.
• Champion the rights and wellbeing of carers and those they support.
