Mission Without Borders (MWB) is a Christian charity supporting over 10,000 children and 2,000 families living in poverty across Eastern Europe. As we embark on an ambitious new 5‑year strategy, we’re investing in the growth of our UK team and we’re looking for a creative, proactive Marketing & Communications Officer to help expand our reach, raise awareness, and inspire supporters across the UK.

In this exciting new role, you’ll shape and deliver our marketing and communications strategy across both digital and traditional channels. From running targeted digital campaigns and enhancing our online presence to crafting compelling stories and to building relationships with Christian media and, you'll play a key part in growing awareness, engagement and income.

We’re seeking someone with strong digital marketing experience, excellent storytelling and relationship building skills, with an understanding of the UK Christian landscape. In this exciting role you will be responsible for researching, cultivating and managing a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations at all levels, including those which have the potential to make grants up to and above 7 figures.

Sitting in the Philanthropy Team of four, the team works really well together, both jointly and individually, with a focus on proactivity and ample autonomy. They have been very successful over the past few years in hitting targets and now theyre excited to be recruiting for a fourth team member.

Their ethos is a relationship development approach to fundraising and youll find plenty of support for a values-based approach to income generation within the team.

The role is hybrid with two days a week in the London office.

The Role
Lead the development and delivery of the Philanthropy strategy for Trusts & Foundations Develop and manage a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations to develop a sustainable income base for the charity
Support the Philanthropy teams fundraising strategy through creative thinking, problem-solving, and the maintenance and use of CRM databases.
Use networks, relationships and knowledge to generate income from Trusts and high value sources by identifying connections and new funding opportunities.

The Candidate
Proven track record of raising significant (e.g. six figures plus) single and multi-year gifts from Trusts and Grant makers.
Experience of developing and writing compelling applications bids and cases for support
Experience of successfully researching and building short, medium and long term funder pipelines to meet financial targets.

We are looking for someone with a depth of knowledge and experience of the faith and community homelessness sector (existing connections within Westminster would be a benefit). About the role 

The Faith and Communities Engagement Officer role is designed to enhance and strengthen the infrastructure of homelessness services across Westminster by mobilising and supporting faith and community-based initiatives and groups. The intention is to facilitate effective partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector services and promote sustainable, community-led responses to homelessness and rough sleeping. 

Key responsibilities will include engagement and partnership development, capacity building and support, infrastructure and sustainability and advocacy. The role will play a vital part in bridging gaps between grassroots faith and community initiatives and formal homelessness systems, ensuring coordinated and compassionate support for those experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping.

• 29 days annual leave, 3 of which are fixed between Christmas and New Year. This is in addition to bank holidays and pro-rata if part time.

Recruitment Process

Financial Controller
Oxford

We are looking for our new Financial Controller: someone who takes pride in running an excellent finance operation and who enjoys being closely involved in the life of a college.

This is a senior role at the heart of the College’s professional services team. Reporting to the Treasurer, the Financial Controller leads the College’s finance function and ensures the delivery of high-quality financial management, reporting and control across the organisation.

We are looking for someone with substantial experience of running a highly effective finance operation, but who is also curious and interested in the wider context of the organisation they support. College life is varied and dynamic, and the finance team plays an important role in supporting activity across academic, operational and commercial areas of the College.

You will be a key member of the Treasurer’s senior management team and the operational lead for the College’s finance function. Senior colleagues across the College look to the Financial Controller for sound financial advice as they develop plans and initiatives, and the role provides an opportunity to contribute to decision-making across a wide range of activities.

You will lead a finance and payroll team of nine staff (6 FTE) and will be responsible for the integrity of the College’s financial reporting, control environment and systems. The role also involves working closely with the Governing Body and its committees, providing clear and insightful financial information that supports effective governance and stewardship of the College’s resources.

Just as important as technical expertise is how we work together. Our finance team is collaborative, supportive and collegiate in the best sense of the word. We take pride in delivering high-quality work, but we also value openness, mutual support and a willingness to help colleagues across the College navigate financial matters. Join our team as an EDI Officer!

The EDI Officer role focuses on enhancing equity in health access and outcomes for all social groups within the local community, particularly in OUH palliative care services. The post holder will collaborate closely with palliative medicine colleagues to develop and lead projects aimed at improving EDI aspects across all Palliative Care departments.

This will be achieved by implementing the five-year EDI strategy plan, which supports hospice teams in integrating EDI considerations in all areas of care. Additionally, the role involves contributing to Trust-wide Health Inequalities initiatives through collaboration with the Trust’s EDI colleagues and Patient Experience Team and various internal and external stakeholders to meet EDI and health inequalities objectives.

What you'll do

· Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Oversee the implementation of the EDI Strategy for the Palliative Medicine Department to ensure services meet the needs of the diverse population in the catchment area.

· Service Planning and Development, Project Management: Take responsibility for the development and implementation of projects and service improvements with an EDI focus as agreed with line manager or Clinical Lead.

· Data Collection and Analysis: Review and analyse data on groups with protected characteristics and/or who may experience palliative care health inequalities within our catchment.

· Engagement: Identify and work to engage individuals and carers who are experiencing/are at risk of experiencing health inequalities in end of life and palliative care.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Location: While not required to be based in London, this role does require a regular presence in our London office and pan London sites, with a minimum of one day per week onsite. Home working is available in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy. Occasional travel may also be required to other locations across Crisis.

About the role

Crisis is recruiting 2 x People Advisors to collaborate with a variety of Directorates including Client Services, Commerce and Enterprise, People and Resources, and Policy and Social Change. The roles will work closely with other People Team colleagues to enable the People and Culture function to boldly deliver an excellent service to Crisis’s managers and people.

As a People Advisor, you will be given autonomy to apply your expertise in employee relations, engagement, and people policy to provide customer focussed, pragmatic, and credible advice to managers ensuring equitable practices throughout as priority. About you

To be successful in these roles you will have experience of advising on a range of employment areas. You will be able to demonstrate how you’ve advised and supported managers through, sometimes complex ER issues, to reach a resolution. You will be confident in your knowledge, ability and interpretation of employment law and best practice, and comfortable building relationships with colleagues, to provide appropriate challenge. You will be interested in shaping People and Culture policy and implementing modern practices.

It would be desirable for one of the roles if you have experience of providing People (HR) support in a charity retail environment with the ability to travel and meet with our managers on site across our London shops and warehouse. Both roles will support some of our client services across the UK so occasional travel to some of our regional locations would be required to support the leadership teams on site.

The Role:
The Head of Income Generation will lead the development and delivery of a sustainable, multi-year income strategy to support Aspens’ future growth and impact.

Working as part of the Inclusive Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership across fundraising, partnerships, marketing and trading activity. You will strengthen existing income streams while identifying and developing new opportunities including major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and social enterprise initiatives.

• The ability to translate impact and operational data into compelling funding narratives
• Experience using CRM systems and pipeline management to drive fundraising performance

To be successful as the Head of Development, you will be an experienced fundraiser who has developed and delivered an income generation strategy and achieved income growth across multiple income streams, including grants and high-value. You will also be an experienced team leader and ideally have a passion or knowledge of the nature, forestry, farming, or environmental sectors.
