We are looking for a pro-active and committed Support Worker (known internally as Project Worker) to join our team at Endsleigh Gardens in Euston. Endsleigh Gardens provides accommodation to people who are experiencing homelessness, including those with complex support needs such as alcohol misuse, substance misuse and mental health.
What you'll be doing
In the role of Project Worker, you will support clients on their journey toward increased independence. You will manage a caseload of residents, helping them develop the skills and confidence required to move on to appropriate longer‑term or independent accommodation. The role focuses on empowering residents to build on their strengths, develop practical life skills, and maintain independence in the community.
About You
Above all, you will have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives. The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. They champion individual's voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high-quality information, advice, and advocacy support.
The Forensic Advocate will provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. The role will ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient's forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one-to-one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have some experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy role, as well as working in an Inpatient setting, and in an Advocacy role. You will have good knowledge of Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.

Purpose of the role
The Project Manager will lead the delivery of MindOut's National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Speaking Our Minds: MindOut 25+ Years and LGBTQ Mental Health, an innovative 18-month heritage programme documenting, preserving and sharing over 25 years of LGBTQ mental health history.
Working with LGBTQ communities, volunteers, staff, former service users, heritage partners and community organisations, the postholder will oversee all aspects of project planning, delivery, evaluation and legacy. This includes oral history collection, digital archiving, volunteer management, community engagement, public exhibitions and dissemination activities.
The Project Manager will ensure the project is delivered safely, ethically and inclusively whilst meeting all National Lottery Heritage Fund outcomes, budgets, milestones and reporting requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a significant LGBTQ heritage project that will create a lasting record of community resilience, mental health activism, peer support and social change.
Role description
You will bring the experience, confidence, organisational skills and values required to lead a complex community heritage programme involving lived experience storytelling, volunteer participation, community partnerships and public engagement.
Main Tasks
Project Management
· Manage the set up and delivery of a new Speaking Our Minds project in a medium-size charity.
· Develop and maintain detailed work plans, project timelines, budgets, risk management and ensure milestones and National Lottery Heritage Fund requirements are met.
· Provide regular progress reports in line with project timeline, budgets and outcomes for the Charity Director

Oral History & Heritage Collection
· Lead the collection of a minimum of 25 oral histories documenting LGBTQ mental health heritage.
· Ensure interviews are conducted ethically and in accordance with Oral History Society guidance and project protocols.
· Coordinate transcription, metadata creation, cataloguing and archive preparation.
· Oversee collection of photographs, documents, memorabilia and contextual materials that support interpretation of MindOut's history.
· Ensure safeguarding, consent and ethical storytelling principles are followed throughout the collection process.
Volunteer Recruitment & Management
· Recruit, train, supervise and support project volunteers.
· Develop clear volunteer roles and learning opportunities.

· Deliver a programme of public engagement activities and community events.

To be a key member of the staff team delivering the Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Services. Hertfordshire Mind Network’s Nightlight Service (Cafés, Helpline, 24/7 Crisis House, A&E Liaison service and Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention, and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.
We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our Helpline, Cafes and 24/7 Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary. Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As Waking Night Recovery Worker you will be ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of our building and service users throughout the night. In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges and substance misuse, helping them achieve positive outcomes and maintain their independence. Responsibilities include co-producing risk assessments, support plans, and crisis interventions, responding appropriately to incidents and mental health relapses, carrying out welfare and flat checks, and supporting service users with their health, wellbeing, and safety goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining the security of the building through regular patrols, health and safety inspections, CCTV and alarm monitoring, as well as undertaking housing management and caretaking duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is calm under pressure, proactive, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people.

We are seeking a resilient, empathetic, and highly motivated individual with demonstrable experience supporting people with mental health needs and complex support requirements. Experience working with individuals affected by substance misuse is desirable, alongside a strong understanding of recovery-focused practice, co-production, and the challenges faced by vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be confident in engaging service users in assessments, developing and reviewing support and safety plans, and delivering activities that promote confidence, independence, wellbeing, and self-defined recovery. You will have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including welfare reform, the Care Act, and housing pathways, together with the ability to remain calm and maintain high standards in challenging and unpredictable situations. Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems, are essential, as is an understanding of basic building maintenance and safety issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, accurate record keeping, and the ability to handle financial transactions responsibly are required. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays is essential, along with a commitment to delivering outstanding support and safeguarding the wellbeing of our service users.

Main purposes of the job:
Sound Minds is recruiting a Head of Operations to join our team in Wandsworth.
The Head of Operations is a member of the senior leadership team at Sound Minds and leads the management and day-to-day operations of a vibrant community premises.
Sound Minds is in a period of review and consolidation, following growth of its programmes and having secured Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation status. The Head of Operations will further develop and implement robust systems to support this growth and the charity’s future aims.
The role leads on all operational, health and safety, premises, IT, systems, human resources, evaluation, and reporting activity. The Head of Operations manages the delivery of Sound Minds’ Peer Support service and will act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. They deputise for the CEO as required.
They will assist the CEO on maintaining key relationships with external stakeholders and external communications.
Sound Minds is a creative place, and the Head of Operations will need a passion for organisation and administration.
Salary: £42,833 per annum(pro rata) & 3% contribution to pension
Hours: 28 hours per week
This fixed term contract ends on 16th June 2030 and is renewable depending on funding.
