Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Manager (New Business)

Purpose of the Job:
The Corporate Partnerships Manager (New Business) drives income growth by securing high-value, multi-year corporate partnerships. With new business separated from account management, and as The Felix Project moves through its merger with FareShare to form a larger national food redistribution network, the role requires a strategic, results-driven specialist who can build a robust pipeline, develop compelling propositions and convert interest into significant private-sector income. Working within the wider Income Generation Team, the post-holder collaborates across all fundraising streams to ensure opportunities are aligned and maximised.
The role leads prospect research, pitch development, early-stage cultivation, income forecasting and CRM accuracy, and ensures a smooth transition of secured partners into account management. The role also works with senior leaders, including the CEO and Trustees, to unlock major opportunities linked to the merger and the organisation’s expanding national profile.
Additionally, the post-holder will build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, engaging with key internal stakeholders such as the CEO and Trustees to identify and cultivate funding opportunities. The role may require evening and weekend work to attend networking or corporate partner event and to support fundraising events.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Secure High-Value, Multi-Year Partnerships – Proactively identify and secure six-figure, multi-year corporate partnerships across various industries.
- Expand Corporate Partnerships Pipeline – Develop and drive multiple income streams, including strategic partnerships, corporate foundations, grants, commercial opportunities, sponsorships, and social value initiatives.
- Develop and Pitch New Business Propositions – Create compelling fundraising initiatives and business cases to attract new corporate partners.
- Leverage Sector Knowledge & Relationship Management – Use commercial acumen to build strong relationships, secure new partnerships, and maximize corporate engagement.
- Manage Inbound Partnership Opportunities – Respond to and convert corporate interest, particularly in corporate volunteering, into long-term partnerships.
- Strategic Collaboration & Fundraising Implementation – Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement corporate fundraising strategies, ensuring alignment with KPIs and organizational goals.
- Support Strategic Partner Development – Assist the Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Corporate Partnerships in developing key corporate relationships for sustainable income growth.
- Financial Oversight & Budgeting – Assist in forecasting budgets, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate income reporting in collaboration with the Finance Team.
- Maintain & Track Partnerships Data – Keep up-to-date records of funding partnerships, ensuring a structured cultivation cycle aligned with team processes.
- Ensure Compliance & Best Practices – Adhere to GDPR, fundraising regulations, and relevant legislation while maintaining ethical fundraising practices.
- Collaborate on Partner Onboarding – Work with the Account Management team to ensure a smooth transition for new corporate partners.
- Contribute to Corporate Income Targets – Play an active role in achieving the team’s annual corporate income goals.

About the role
You will work closely with the Income Generation Team and Services Teams to develop and maintain long-term sustainable funding from Trusts and Foundations. Through developing and expanding income through grants, evolving our case for support, and managing relationships with a variety of grant funders, you will transform survivors’ lives and help us be part of the systems change to end sexual violence.
You will undertake new prospect research, keep up-to-date with the sector at large, and maintain and grow our funding pipeline. You will also write compelling funding bids, proposals and appeals, alongside timely reports to funders. You will seek opportunities to strengthen and build on existing and lapsed funding relationships and offer opportunities to engage funders directly with our work.
About You
You will be passionate about implementing the SARSAS fundraising strategy ensuring that SARSAS can continue to deliver support to meet the needs of those who have been raped and sexually abused across Avon and Somerset.
You will be a skilled writer who is confident in identifying, researching, and qualifying prospects to continue our successful growth. You will have strong relationship management skills and will be able to build and sustain long-term relationships with funders, as well as identify opportunities to deepen funders’ commitment to our cause.
You will have strong organisational skills, and be able to manage a workload which balances application and reporting deadlines alongside funder stewardship and pipeline development. You will also be a good team player and self-starter – we’re a small team who manage our own workloads, but we relish the opportunity to come together, share ideas and take creative risks.

SARSAS exists to relieve the trauma and distress, and help rebuild the lives, of survivors who live in Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES, who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.

You will lead on fundraising from Trusts and Foundations and be responsible for relationships, applications and reporting to major Trust and Foundation funders. What you’ll focus on:
- Your primary role will be in delivering personalised and tailored support to people affected by dementia. This could include the person living with dementia, carer, family or friends.
- Being a named, trusted contact for people affected by dementia, enabling them to access vital services whilst improving people’s sense of well-being, ultimately giving them more control over their lives and decisions.
- Managing your own caseload of clients and referring people to the appropriate health and social care organisations when required, which will include safeguarding’s.
- Providing advice and guidance at local peer groups, specific dementia groups and community networks, whilst looking out for new opportunities to promote the service and maintain the profile of dementia services across the area.

Location: The contract for the role is London-based – it means that while you can be working anywhere in the UK, you are responsible for the cost of your travel to the London-based office. You will be a forward-looking and collaborative Head of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships, a vital role as we enter an exciting new phase for the charity. You’ll be joining a talented and dedicated team focused on delivering our new and exciting strategy. As the Head of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships you will inspire, and lead, income generation from corporate partnerships and philanthropists. This key role will lead growing income streams currently worth a combined £1.1 million per year, plus an incredible ongoing partnership worth £1 million pa. You will lead a step-change in income that directly drives the charity’s ability to be there for people who are missing and those who love them.
You will lead and line manage established and high performing teams, creating the culture for them to deliver their very best. As a senior leader you will take a key role in department-wide development, culture, planning and delivery as well as influencing charity-wide and externally.
ABOUT YOU
If you are ready to bring your expertise in philanthropy and corporate partnerships to lead and vital fundraising at Missing People you will have:
• Significant experience leading growth (i.e. £500k increase) in income in both, or one of, philanthropy or corporate partnerships
• Experience of directly securing and managing high value support and partnerships
• Experience of successfully preparing others to also secure such support
• Experience of leading and developing high performing teams of fundraisers
• High level of experience of using Raisers Edge, or equivalent fundraising database
• Experience of developing and implementing fundraising plans, products and events
• Sound understanding of the voluntary sector as well as regulatory framework for fundraising;

Alliance Publishing Trust (APT) aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas among people in philanthropy working for social change. We aspire to contribute to building an effective, accountable and thriving philanthropy field by being a ‘critical friend’ to philanthropy worldwide.
To do this we produce Alliance magazine, the leading quarterly publication for philanthropy and social investment worldwide and respected in the sector for thirty years. Each issue provides a special in-depth feature on a key aspect of philanthropy and social investment, with contributors from around the world and expert guest editors as well as interviews, news and book reviews.
We also produce over 700 items of digital content per year: providing premium interviews and articles published exclusively every Tuesday; daily free-to-read news, conference reports and a space for thinking, debate and peer exchange among philanthropy practitioners worldwide; weekly coverage of climate and gender philanthropy, monthly columns and more. In addition to written content, we convene 24 events a year to discuss the latest topics in philanthropy with speakers and attendees across the globe.
With a core staff team based in London, valued freelance support and a team of representatives around the world, we work with the leading organisations and practitioners worldwide to deliver our charitable mission. Opportunity
As Alliance celebrates its 30th anniversary we are currently seeking a curious, motivated and collaborative individual to join us in the new role of Director of Philanthropy Knowledge. This externally-facing senior role would suit experienced candidates with a passionate interest in philanthropy and with a truly global mindset. Candidates should be eager to both learn about and examine philanthropic giving in all forms and in all contexts.
Building on the strong position of the organisation you will play a key role in shaping the organisational strategy and direction in the years ahead through the knowledge and insights you will develop and maintain. To excel in this role, you will need to be able to forge positive professional relationships with senior leaders, both at large global institutions and small grassroots organisations.
Summary of main duties and responsibilities
The Director of Philanthropy Knowledge’s principal responsibilities are to keep up-to-date with the developments of the global philanthropy sector; be a proactive knowledge resource for the editorial team; build and maintain a strong network of relationships with key individuals and organisations on every continent; and to work with the Executive Director on generating philanthropic funding and support in line with APT’s strategy.

Our charity is growing again - this time we’re transforming online learning for school food. You’ll help shape and create resources for our new online hub. This hub will become a central point for schools, kitchen teams and caterers to seek inspiration. You’ll be creative and confident enough to work with busy chefs, celebrities and educators who all care deeply about feeding children brilliant school food. This role will sit in our communications team and focus on creating clear, engaging and practical resources that help people take action, whether that is a headteacher looking to improve their whole school to food or a school chef looking to transform their school meals.
You will help turn complex ideas, research and on the ground practice into user friendly content, in a range of formats, that reflects our brand, showcases the work of our chefs, schools, patrons and partners, and puts the wellbeing of children and young people at its heart.

About you and the role
This role will initially support the set up and roll out of a national school food resource hub, supporting the creation of resources for the platform, working closely with internal teams and external partners. With the hub still in development, you will be joining at a crucial point to help shape what goes live, how it looks and sounds, and how useful it is for the people we most want to reach.
Our aim is that schools and the wider school food community can quickly find practical, trusted resources that help them improve food in schools. That might be a headteacher looking for a simple starting point, a school chef wanting a clear guide to implement new practices, or a teacher looking to introduce food education.
Your role will focus on creating and maintaining high quality resources for the hub. You will turn ideas, evidence, and stories into clear content in different formats, including short one to two pagers, multi-page guides, videos, photographs and interactive resources. You will adapt your writing and framing to different audiences, keeping content aligned with brand guidelines.
This role sits within our comms team but works closely with our school transformation and membership teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and develop content, including supporting interviews and capturing case studies. You will also help manage the day to day flow of content into the hub, keeping resources organised, up to date and easy to navigate, while bringing a curious, practical mindset that helps us keep improving what we publish. You’ll identify any resources that could be a wider engagement tool to draw more people to the hub.

Purpose
The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. They aim to draw supporters closer to the work we do, deepening their relationship and support of CAP. Income from CAP’s major donors is vital for the future expansion of CAP in the UK.
Each Philanthropy Lead may be allocated one or more area of Philanthropy engagement in order to specialise in, but will be expected to support in any area as required. Such areas include:

Accountabilities:
Strategic Implementation & Fundraising

Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income.

Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.

Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.

Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement and draft appropriate funding bids.

Represent CAP at high-level events and conferences to build relationships with potential donors and partners.
Major Donor Development

Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.

Conduct face-to-face meetings, personalised communications, and bespoke stewardship plans to cultivate and steward major donors.

Develop compelling restricted funding projects to attract major donor investment.

Implement a donor recognition program to acknowledge and celebrate major donor support.
Philanthropy Team Membership

Impact & Reporting

Ensure that the CRM is updated with engagements, proposal submissions and engagement plans in a timely fashion.

Innovation & Best Practices

As part of the Training and Registration team in the Education Directorate, this role will be responsible for monitoring and assessing applications for Certificates of Completion of Training (CCT) and providing specialist advice and guidance while contributing to ongoing improvement in GP training and registration.
