Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. From April next year, we’re expanding our service and looking for new Support Workers to join our team – helping guide children and families on their healing journey.
Position: Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Support Worker
Location: Homebased with frequent travel. Role covers casework activity across Oxfordshire area including Cherwell, West Oxfordshire and the wider Oxfordshire area.
Contract: Permanent part time – 18.5 hours per week, weekdays.
We’re open to discussing working patterns that match both your needs and our service delivery. We’re also open to discussing an opportunity for 24 hours.
Salary range: £12,868 - £15,727 pro-rata per annum (full time equivalent range £25,735 - £31,453 per annum)
About the role:
As a Support Worker you will play a significant role in supporting children and families affected by domestic abuse, some of your key responsibilities will include:
· the completion of assessments to understand the needs of families
· delivering group work for children and parents
· provide 1-2-1 sessions to children and families most in need
· supporting our families through providing outreach support
About you:
A successful Support Worker will need a good understanding of domestic abuse and the impact on children and families (or an interest in working in this field), with experience of delivering groupwork programmes for vulnerable parents and/or children.

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable adults in Oxford?
We are looking for 3 people to join the St Mungo’s Rough Sleeping Service as Housing Led Workers on fixed term contracts until March 2027. (2x Full Time, and 1 Part time).
The team will work in partnership with the Oxford Rough Sleeping Service, and in partnership with local partner agencies to provide long term tenancy sustainment support to clients experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to support people to access suitable accommodation; and move-on with the right support in place.
In the role of Housing Led Worker you will work as part of a team to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the service. Managing a caseload of around 15-20 clients you will:
- Provide personalised, flexible support that helps clients access the right services for their mental and physical health, substance use, community engagement, learning, training, and employment.
- Deliver intensive, ongoing support to help clients establish their home, sustain their tenancy, and work towards their personal goals and aspirations.
- Work in partnership with clients, using a creative and strengths-based approach to help people manage tenancy, build independence, and rebuild their lives in the community.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
- We will provide support and supervision to help you work independently and comfortably as a lone worker to support clients and effectively manage your own caseload.
- About you

- You have experience supporting people experiencing homelessness, helping them identify personal goals and navigate meaningful change.
- You have experience of working as part of a team, working collaboratively to build positive effective relationships.
- You’re organised, able to prioritise effectively, and can manage your own caseload.
- You bring good administrative and IT skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- You understand the challenges people face when experiencing homelessness and the barriers to moving into and sustaining long‑term accommodation.
- You have the knowledge, and interest in developing your skills to work with people who may have complex needs, including mental or physical health challenges or substance use.
Above all, you will be committed to working with recovery focused approach towards the aims of the service.

Do you want to work in a role where no day is the same and make a real difference to the lives of people experiencing homelessness in Oxford?
The Rough Sleeping Team in Oxford provide a rapid response service to support people at immediate risk of rough sleeping. We are currently looking for inspirational people to join the Somewhere Safe to Stay Service (SSTS) team as Assessment and Reconnection Workers where no day is the same. You will work as part of a busy, dedicated team while developing the necessary skills to:
- Provide direct support to people new to, or at risk of rough sleeping; working closely with individuals on assessment action plans which fully involves them in their recovery. To do this you will build positive working relationships with a range of services and individuals across Oxford.
- Work on the weekly shift rota including shifts from Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, and some weekends and bank holidays where required.
