Responsible for all Continuous Professional Development (CPD) resources and activity of the Royal College of Paramedics, The primary role of the National CPD Lead will be overall responsibility for all CPD delivered by the Royal College of Paramedics, including ensuring the quality of content across the current and future range of platforms, (including video, webinars, events, podcasting).
The National CPD Lead is responsible for the efficient and effective management of specific pre-agreed workstreams aligned with realisation of the Royal College’s strategy objectives, this will require budget awareness along with supervision and management of team members.
As a senior member the College team – the National CPD Lead will provide a leadership presenceacross the organisation, contributing to policy and planning, staff development and membershipengagement and growth. They will be an able, confident and competent communicator, engagingeffectively at all levels, from student members to the Royal College of Paramedics Board and Council to national partners and colleagues.
The primary role of the National CPD Lead is to provide assurance, support and leadership in the provision of face to face and virtual CPD delivered by the College of Paramedics, including:

Ensuring the quality of content across the current and future range of platforms (including events, video, webinars, courses, and podcasting).

Reviewing and developing CPD activities which meet the needs of members and the profession
As an employee, the National CPD Lead will promote the Royal College, and its aims and objectives by building effective relationships with members, other healthcare colleagues, employers and other stakeholder bodies.
The Person:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work directly with the Head of Education to drive innovation and change and deliver the Continuous Professional Development and Education objectives as part of the overall College strategy.
The National CPD Lead will act with integrity, positivity, and adaptability, using their skills to build effective relationships and work within a shared vision.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will lead the charity legacy and in-memory fundraising, ensuring gifts in wills continue to fund our life saving service for generations to come.
This is a strategic and hands on role, offering the freedom to shape and develop a high-performing legacy programme while delivering exceptional supporter care.
As a Legacy Giving Manager you will:
- Delivering and evolving a legacy giving strategy to grow future income
- Managing the administration of legacy gifts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Stewarding legacy pledgers and in-memory supporters with empathy and professionalism
- Growing and promoting our Free Wills programme, working with local solicitors and partners
- Developing engaging campaigns and materials that reflect our mission and local impact
- Monitoring performance, trends and risks across legacy income
- Keeping up to date with sector developments and changes to probate or fundraising practice
- Working collaboratively with fundraising, marketing, supporter care teams and volunteers
- Line managing legacy or in-memory giving staff or volunteers where required
To be successful, you must have experience:
- Proven experience in legacy and/or in-memory fundraising
- Strong understanding of legacy administration, probate law and regulation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Confident using CRM/database systems
- Empathy and sensitivity when working with bereaved supporter
Desirable:
- Experience working with solicitors or funeral directors
- Professional fundraising or marketing qualification.
- Experience managing lotteries and raffles.
Salary: £38,000- £43,000 per annum
Location: Wellington, Somerset, hybrid working (flexible)
Contract: Permanent, full time or part-time

This is a fantastic role within Income Generation team, where you will be shaping events strategy, inspiring supporters, and maximising income to help save lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a diverse portfolio of mass participation events, including runs, treks, virtual challenges, and community campaigns.
- Develop and implement marketing and stewardship plans to attract, retain, and inspire participants, working closely with Communications and Fundraising colleagues.
- Identify, develop, and launch new event concepts aligned with our brand and fundraising objectives, including virtual and hybrid formats.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, and risk assessments to ensure safe, high quality, and cost-effective delivery.
- Build and nurture relationships with supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and partners to maximise participation and income.
- Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and management, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on event performance, using insight and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion innovation and best practice in mass participation fundraising, staying up to date with sector trends.
To be successful, you must have experience:
- Proven experience delivering successful mass participation or challenge events, ideally within the charity sector.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, including supporter stewardship and partnership working.
- Experience managing budgets, logistics, and risk assessments for large scale events.
- Confident using digital tools and CRM systems to support event delivery and supporter journeys.
- Creative, proactive, and results driven, with a passion for fundraising and community engagement.
- A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000
Location: Wellington, Somerset (hybrid working available)
