Responsibilities
Research, Evaluation & Learning
Project Delivery: Delivery of research and evaluation projects, supporting the development of project plans, methodologies and data collection tools.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Own the analysis of quantitative, qualitative & SROI research data and contribute to the preparation of clear, engaging reports, dashboards and impact-focused case studies for clients and stakeholders.
Quality and Rigour: Apply high standards of accuracy and ethical practice across all project tasks. Proactively flag issues and contribute to continuous improvement of Bean’s processes and outputs.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed with developments in evaluation methods, social impact frameworks and best practice. Bring relevant insights to the team to strengthen our collective approach and capabilities.
B Corp Commitment: Actively support and further improve Bean’s own environmental and social performance.
Working With Clients
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with client teams. Act as the day-to-day point of contact, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness and a consistently high-quality client experience.
Project Coordination: Help coordinate evaluation activities, fieldwork logistics and client communications, ensuring projects run smoothly and to schedule.
Bean Operations
Advocate and Thought Leadership: Be a vocal advocate for Bean and for social value, active on LinkedIn and across the sector, and help position Bean as a thought leader through articles, insights, events and panels.
New business Opportunities: Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, contributing to proposals and helping to position Bean’s services confidently and creatively in the market.

Candidate Profile
You are a careful, methodical evaluation or research professional who takes genuine pride in getting things right. You combine methodological knowledge with strong attention to detail, and you are a natural team player: cooperative, supportive and reliable. You value clarity of task, high standards and seeing work through thoroughly, and you can translate findings clearly for clients who are not evaluators themselves.
Essential
Experience delivering evaluation or social research projects, including data collection, analysis and reporting across qualitative and quantitative methods.
Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to accuracy, ethics and high-quality outputs.
Confidence supporting the design of evaluation frameworks, logic models or theories of change.
Excellent organisation and project-coordination skills, with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.
Clear, accessible written and verbal communication, including turning data into engaging findings for non-specialist clients.
A collaborative, dependable approach: comfortable being the day-to-day point of contact and supporting colleagues and junior staff.

This is a critical and influential role at Independent Age, reporting to the Head of Governance. Working closely with senior leaders and the Board, you will play an important role in enabling effective and confident decision-making across every level of the charity. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for risk management, alongside a strong understanding of not-for-profit governance best practice. We’re looking for a motivated, organised and creative Senior Individual Giving Manager to lead our ambitious, supportive development team at the MS Society for a 12-month fixed term maternity leave cover.
You’ll be responsible for the strategic planning and oversee the delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaigns and supporter engagement projects ensuring they are delivered to time, income targets and expenditure budgets. You’ll have space to be creative, freedom to test new ideas, and the chance to shape the future of our development programme.

Job Description
Do you have experience in designing, reviewing or improving administrative or operational processes, with a focus on the user experience above all? We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead and deliver a transformation roadmap that redesigns and improves student services, using service design and business analysis approaches to create efficient, student-centred processes across the Union.
The role is full time (with part time possibility) and a fixed term contract for 12 months. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office).
Duties and Responsibilities
You will lead the delivery of a transformation roadmap to redesign and improve student services across the Union, focusing on creating efficient, user-centred processes that enhance the experience of student leaders and staff. This will involve analysing current ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement, and balancing quick wins with longer-term change aligned to the academic cycle.
You will work closely with students, staff and stakeholders across the Union to co-design services and ensure they meet real user needs. Using data, insight and feedback, you will prioritise improvements, build engagement, and ensure that systems and tools—working in partnership with IT and Digital—support the delivery of better services.
Alongside delivery, you will help embed a consistent approach to service design and process management, producing clear documentation and building organisational capability for continuous improvement. You will also ensure that all changes align with governance, risk and compliance requirements, supporting sustainable and effective service delivery.
Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of service design or business analysis approaches, and the ability to communicate complex processes clearly to diverse audiences.

About this job
The Head of Research enables successful delivery of the organisation’s ground-breaking Research Strategy. They will provide vital leadership, strategic direction and day to day management of the MS Society’s research programme as well as leadership of the Research Team.
This varied and exciting role also involves developing and maintaining strategically relevant partnerships, annual grant round, new research strategy and acting as a spokesperson for the MS Society as well as being a key ambassador – inspiring internal teams about the MS Society’s research programme.
Please note this is a part-time 14 hours per week position. This could be worked across either 2 or 3 days.

Context and Background
The Public Engagement team is responsible for developing and delivering the strategy that will drive significant, long-term income growth by inspiring and engaging public audiences to support the work of the NSPCC.
This will be achieved through integrated, audience-led, multi-channel marketing approaches, including; mass participation, individual giving, and campaigns that generate sustainable funding aligned to the NSPCC’s strategic priorities.
Alongside income generation, the team plays a vital role in increasing public understanding of abuse and neglect and building advocacy.
The team will foster a high-performing, results-driven culture that values collaboration, innovation, and integration. By focusing on excellent supporter relationship management and purposeful engagement, it will deliver long-term, sustainable impact to support the NSPCC’s mission.
Job purpose
The Associate Head of Engagement Delivery will lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of engagement and fundraising activity to key agreed audiences, ensuring alignment with the audience engagement strategy and campaign plan.
· Take accountability for Engagement Delivery team outputs, ensuring high-quality execution across creative, campaigns and channels
· Provide direct line management and coaching to diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, building capability, confidence and high performance across the full channel mix, while fostering an inclusive and supportive culture

Main duties and responsibilities
· Campaign Planning and Delivery
o Accountable for the planning and operational delivery of engagement and fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email and telemarketing to current supporter and DRTV, digital acquisition supporting integrated charity-wide campaigns, and advocacy activity.
o Oversee direct line management of campaign delivery teams, coaching and developing individuals to build capability, confidence and high performance across the full channel mix, while fostering an inclusive and supportive culture
o Oversee campaign briefing, scheduling, and performance tracking, ensuring campaigns are delivered in line with audience strategy and organisational priorities.

Who you are:
As a fundraising generalist, you will be well organised, provide strong administrative support, give excellent supporter care, write strong copy and be able to coordinate content creation.

Primary duties:
You will be responsible for continuing to grow our legacy programme, implementing the strategy developed by the Head of Development. This will include drafting copy and working with a designer to create evergreen legacy content, creating and maintaining content for our website, coordinating and drafting legacy communications and campaigns, managing legacy enquiries, thanking and stewarding legacy pledgers, and managing the legacy pipeline in Beacon.
You will support our community fundraising strategy. This will mean making sure we have the tools and information for supporters to fundraise for us, whether that be in memory of a loved one, delivering their own fundraising initiatives in aid of The Humane League UK, or through peer-to-peer fundraising. This will include responding to enquiries, thanking and stewarding community fundraisers, coordinating a small amount of external-facing content, creating evergreen content, such as a toolkit that fundraisers can use, creating and updating content for the website, and responding to opportunities that arise, which could include community speaking opportunities, or stalls at events.
You will support our corporate fundraising offering, ensuring we have the tools and information for businesses to support THL UK in a variety of ways. You will coordinate essential thanking activities for key donors and supporters. This will include coordinating the design and printing of thanking cards, and other relevant stewardship materials or merchandise, to be utilised by those across the organisation, including to support our volunteers. Working with Communications and the Digital Fundraising Lead to deliver activities for our donor recruitment and retention.
Work with the wider Development Team to input into our Development Strategy, as directed by the Head of Development, offering ideas and suggestions to help deliver the strategy and grow income across various income streams.
Liaise with and coordinate support from third-parties / external consultants where necessary, such as providing support for specific campaigns or projects, and / or providing fundraising materials.
Help us galvanise further support by lending your organisational skills to fundraising events.
Attending conferences and events.
Updating the wider team on fundraising progress.
Participating in team meetings including note-taking and facilitation.
Attending in-person workshops several times a year.

As an organisation we work a four day work week. This is a full time position of 30 hours per week over Monday to Thursday.
