Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. As a charity we rely on donations from the Scottish public, companies and communities to ensure that urgent medical help gets to the patient when it is needed, wherever they are and at whatever time of day.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Administration Manager. As Manager of a small team of administration assistants, you will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative support across our Perth and Aberdeen offices, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation by providing support across several of the charity’s functions including fundraising, finance, marketing and operations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar office or administration management role, ideally within the charity sector. They will be proactive in building positive relationships across the charity and will be confident managing projects, budgets and external suppliers. They will have experience of using CRM systems in a fundraising context, be solutions-focused and have a strong commitment to our mission.
This role will be based from our headquarters at Perth Airport, and occasional travel to our Aberdeen base will be required. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

Our Strategy and the role of Policy and Public Affairs Coordinator

You will have:
- At least three years experience in a learning and development role, preferably at a management level.

- Good knowledge of learning theories, and experience of applying these within the organisational context.
- Experience of delivering learning initiatives to individuals and groups at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience of establishing a range of employee voice channels, and ability to evaluate findings.

Together Women is an award-winning charity that supports women and girls across Yorkshire and Humberside, with particular focus on women who are involved in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. From our women centres, we provide tailored support across a range of different pathways, including housing, domestic abuse, debt, and unemployment. Role Summary
Together Women Leeds provides holistic wraparound support to women and girls and specialises in supporting women involved with the criminal justice system, through 1:1 Keywork, group programmes and access to specialist gender-specific support via TW Women’s Centres.
We are seeking an individual with a proactive, compassionate, collaborative approach. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and highly organised, brings strong reporting skills, and is a great relationship builder. Experience of working in the women’s sector or the criminal justice system is desirable, but not essential – most importantly we’re looking for an outstanding manager.
At Together Women, staff wellbeing is a priority. With the support of a Senior Keyworker, you will ensure our staff team are effectively managed, supported and encouraged to develop within their roles, enabling them to provide high quality, trauma-responsive support.
You will be responsible for the management of a range of services, ensuring high quality standards are consistently met and partnerships are established and maintained. You will lead the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the Bradford Centre, which is funded by a range of commissioners both statutory and non-statutory.
You will lead on contract and performance management including relationships with commissioners. Alongside the Director of Services and wider management team you will also contribute to the effective leadership of the organisation, ensuring our operational and strategic objectives are met.
Key accountabilities
Service Delivery and Management
- Lead the operational management of TW services in Bradford ensuring intensive high-quality, trauma responsive support is provided to women and girls accessing the services.
- Develop and manage a service plan for Bradford that incorporates key milestones and ensures delivery of project outputs and outcomes
- Monitor delegated budget responsibility, ensuring that the services operate within the agreed budget.
Staff Management
- Line manage direct reports and ensure that all staff receive regular support, supervision and performance review, case management, training and development in line with TW policies and procedures.
- Deliver team meetings, reflective practice, and staff learning and development opportunities.
- Effectively manage a team working on different contracts ensuring team cohesion and consistency in approach and practice.
Communication/Contracts and Partnerships
- Take overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and referral pathways.
- Lead on the contract and performance management including all relationships with commissioners.
- Organise and attend external meetings/events as appropriate, actively participating and disseminating information to colleagues. This includes sitting on steering groups and attending multi-agency panels to discuss the needs and challenges faced by our service users,
- Design and deliver training for professionals in the region to improve responses to women and girls affected by the social justice system.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Ensure that all staff maintain accurate, confidential customer records, following Together Women policies and procedures, and contribute to development of contract monitoring and recording.
- Produce monitoring and evaluation reports in line with funder and other key stakeholder requirements.
Funding
- Identify relevant fundraising opportunities and support TW senior management team to prepare funding applications, identify commissioning opportunities, which support the long-term sustainability of existing and new services.
- Attend meetings with potential new funders to secure new funding streams, ensuring that the project outcomes are achievable and measurable.
- Work with colleagues within TW and/or external partners to establish new services/projects when funding applications are successful.

Research Grant Manager - FTC
ARUK is migrating to a new grants management system, Flexigrant, creating an exciting opportunity for a Research Grants Manager to act as the product owner for ARUK’s grant-making processes. This role will sit at the intersection of research funding, systems delivery, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for configuring, embedding, and continuously improving Flexigrant to support ARUK’s grant-making activities across the full funding lifecycle — from scheme design and application, through peer review and funding decisions, to post-award management and reporting.
Working closely with colleagues across the Research Funding team, the wider Research Directorate, and external partners and providers, you will ensure that ARUK’s grant processes are robust, user-centred, efficient, and scalable. This role is vital to enabling ARUK to fund the best dementia research and to support and engage our funded research community.
This role sits in the Research Directorate, an ambitious, supportive and friendly team funding world-class research to transform the lives of people affected by dementia. We’re looking for someone with research management experience, a good eye for detail and enthusiasm for improving systems and processes in a complex research funding environment.
This is a 12-month FTC
Key Responsibilities:
Grant Product & System Management
· Act as a subject matter expert and system owner for ARUK’s grants management system, Flexigrant.
· Lead the ongoing configuration, implementation and optimisation of Flexigrant, working closely with team across the Research Directorate to embed their funding schemes and workflows.
· Support the Senior Research Funding Manager to work in partnership with the external system provider to support system development, issue resolution and updates.
· Configure and open grant schemes, build application and review workflows, manage access and permissions, and create data exports to meet internal and external needs.
· Develop and maintain system guidance, documentation, and training materials for internal users and external stakeholders.
· Champion adoption of Flexigrant across the organisation, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
Grant Programme Delivery
· Support the operational delivery of ARUK’s grant-making activities, from scheme launch through peer review to funding decisions.
· Work with the Research Grants Manager (pre-award) to support the development and delivery of expert review processes, ensuring fair, transparent assessment in line with AMRC principles.
· Work with the Research Grants Manager (post-award) with award and post-award management, including monitoring research expenditure, milestone reporting, and post-award change requests.
· Maintain accurate, high-quality grant data and records, ensuring internal and external stakeholders have access to reliable and timely information.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
· Act as a primary contact for internal teams requiring grant information or data from Flexigrant.
· Support applicants, reviewers, and grant holders by providing clear guidance throughout the application, assessment, and award lifecycle.
· Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Science Communications and Philanthropy to support effective communication of funding opportunities and grant outcomes.
· Represent the charity at relevant external meetings and events.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Degree in a life science, health-related, or relevant discipline.
· Experience of grant management or research funding administration within a charity, research organisation, university or funder, with experience supporting the full research funding lifecycle, including application, peer review, funding decisions, and post-award management.
· Practical experience of working with a grants management system or similar complex business system (e.g. Flexigrant, Grant Tracker, Salesforce, Worktribe, InfoEd, etc.) with experience of configuring or supporting funding schemes, workflows, or processes within a system or platform.
· Experience working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, reviewers, and colleagues across multiple teams.
· Understanding of fair and transparent peer review processes and commitment to best practice (e.g. AMRC principles).
· Strong attention to detail, with experience managing accurate data, records, and reporting.
· Ability to take ownership of a system or process and drive continuous improvement. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear guidance and explain complex processes to different audiences.

A day in the life of a philanthropy manager could begin with researching and identifying prospects from a recent event; giving a studio tour to prospective donors and enthusing them about our youth programme; preparing a report for a major donor about our work with young entrepreneurs; and ending the day in the members bar with a current supporter who’s there for a gig.
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs, mainly through attending departmental events with donors and attending the members bar.
About you:
We would expect applicants to this role to have at least 3 years previous experience in managing a portfolio of prospects and donors and securing gifts toward charitable aims or projects. The ideal candidate would also have management experience of staff or volunteers and of working in a team towards a shared fundraising goal.

The Opportunity
The Finance and Operations Manager will provide financial expertise and support the Head of Finance & Operations (HFO) to deliver high quality financial management in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.

About the Charity
From Me to You is an inspiring charity dedicated to alleviating loneliness and isolation for people living with cancer. We make connections for people living with cancer through the simple, powerful act of letter writing easing loneliness and bringing comfort, hope and human connection, one letter at a time. Each year thousands of anonymous letters are collated by our team of volunteers and then given to patients at home, in hospitals or cancer centres by nurses and our charity partners. Recent feedback showed that 93% of our letter recipients reported that the letters lifted their mood and a quarter said that they made them feel less alone, with 80% saying that our letters made them feel cared for. Our work is powered by a passionate community of volunteers, in 2025 with their help we processed over 17,000 letters from all over the world, delivering them to cancer patients throughout the UK.
Our Donate a Letter programme supports our 2,500+ Volunteer Letter Writers to contribute anonymous letters, some people write a couple of letters a year, others one a week. These letters are all delivered to our PO Box in Ascot. They are then sorted, read and processed by our wonderful team of local Donate a Letter Volunteers. These volunteers also then repackaged and redistributed the suitable letters to cancer patients through our partnership with hospitals, cancer centres and other charities that act as distribution partners.
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and people-focused Volunteer Coordinator to manage and support our volunteer network. About The Role
Events are a key component in our visitors’ experience at a WWT site and we have big ambitions to develop and deliver an even stronger calendar of innovative events in 2026 and beyond.
Working with the Head of Interpretation and Programming and the Centre Managers, you will lead on the development of new seasonal events, from ideation and concept stage to multi-site implementation, with the objective of driving new and repeat visitation. You will have good experience in planning and delivering events in a multi-site organisation. You will be passionate about nature and conservation with the desire and ability to create both home-grown and partner-based events that connect and engage our visitors with the Superpowers of Wetlands
To join as our Events and Partnerships Manager you’ll bring:
- Proven experience of creating and managing events in a multi-site visitor facing organisation, leading projects from concept stage, through implementation, to ROI analysis and reporting
- Experience of developing and maintaining external relationships with brands, like-minded organisations, funders and/or community groups
- Excellent project management skills, with proven experience of delivering projects, to budget and on time, bringing teams from different parts of the organisation with you
- Excellent financial management skills with evidence of accountability for budget development, management and control
- Evidence of a visionary mindset with the ability to turn vision into reality; demonstrable creativity with a flair for innovative problem solving, thinking outside of the box and developing test & learn experiences and events
- Brilliant written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others when sharing new concepts and ideas, developing strong stakeholder support at all levels
