About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Head of Design and Impact to lead WWF-UK’s work on programme design, impact measurement and learning, ensuring our strategies, programmes and projects deliver meaningful outcomes for people and nature.

In this role, you’ll lead a specialist team providing expert advice and quality assurance across the organisation, supporting strong programme design, effective monitoring and evaluation, and the embedding of WWF’s Environmental and Social Safeguards. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, portfolio leads and teams across conservation, policy, advocacy and fundraising, helping ensure impact is clearly evidenced and learning is embedded in how we work.

You’ll also play a senior advisory role, providing assurance to the Executive Group and Trustees on the quality of programme design and impact reporting, and working with the wider WWF network to strengthen approaches to impact, learning and accountability.

This is a senior leadership role for someone with deep expertise in design, monitoring and evaluation, strong people leadership skills, and the confidence to influence across complex programmes and stakeholders in a global context.

Skills and experience

You’ll bring the following skills and experience to succeed in this role:

Essential

• Significant experience leading the design, monitoring, evaluation and learning of strategies, programmes or projects in a conservation, development or policy context

• Proven experience leading and developing specialist teams, including performance management and creating a strong learning culture

• Strong expertise in programme and project design, quality assurance and evidence of impact

• Experience embedding environmental and social safeguards, including safeguarding and ethical standards, into programme design and delivery

• Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders, including Directors, Executive leadership or Trustees

• Strong facilitation and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance

• Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and disciplines, including with fundraising and partnerships

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data and evidence meaningful for different audiences

• Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines

• Strong alignment with WWF-UK’s mission, values and purpose

Desirable

• Experience working within international conservation or development programmes, including with partners or offices in multiple countries

• Experience supporting fundraising bids through programme design, monitoring or reporting

• Experience with outcome monitoring linked to performance-based funding or finance mechanisms

• Understanding of global monitoring or reporting frameworks

• Experience working with or influencing global networks or multi-country organisations

• Competency in an additional language relevant to WWF’s global work

Evening / Weekend Support Worker (Substance Misuse)

We are looking for someone mature, motivated and caring to provide person-centred support to our residents in their recovery journey. If you have a heart to see people overcome substance misuse - to reset, recover, and restore their lives - please join our friendly team.

The post-holder will form part of our team of staff who support our residents in their recovery primarily outside of office hours. You will therefore have great inter-personal skills and the ability to implement firm but caring boundaries. In addition, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including updating records and administering medication as well as managing the house during weekends and overnight.

This is a part-time role on a zero hours contract, including some evenings and weekends, so could work alongside other employment commitments. Hours negotiable.

About the Role 

The Development Operations team enables all philanthropic income across the Barbican. As we prepare for a major comprehensive campaign and significant growth in activity, The Development Manager, Operations is central to strengthening the systems and infrastructure that support our fundraising.
You will lead a team spanning CRM, prospect research, events operations and audience giving, ensuring the department has the systems, insight and financial rigour to deliver sustainable income growth at scale.

In this role, you will:

•    Lead and improve the systems, policies and processes that support fundraising, embedding best practice and driving efficiency.
•    Oversee Development finances, including income tracking, forecasting and budgeting, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy and insight.
•    Act as strategic lead for our CRM (Spektrix) and data environment, overseeing reporting, gift processing, data integrity and compliance (GDPR, Gift Aid).

Job Title: HR Services Manager (Maternity Cover)

Reports to: HR Director

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join the Rhodes Trust on a 14-month maternity cover. This is a central operational role within our HR function, leading the delivery of payroll, benefits and core people processes to ensure they run accurately, efficiently and on time. You will lead on key operational areas, provide practical advice to managers and staff, and maintain high standards across payroll, employee relations and data management.

This role is about keeping things running smoothly and reliably, delivering a strong HR service in a busy international environment while making thoughtful improvements where they add real value. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will bring sound judgement, attention to detail and a balanced and thoughtful approach to complex situations. The role does not include line management responsibility and works in close partnership with the HR Director as part of the wider HR team.

The role

The HR Services Manager role will be focused on continuity of critical HR operations. The role will be responsible for the following:

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, ensuring payroll, benefits and employee lifecycle processes run accurately, efficiently and on time.
• Oversee UK, US and South Africa payroll inputs, working closely with Finance and external providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide practical, trusted advice to managers and staff on a range of employee relations matters, including family leave, performance management, change, grievances and disciplinaries.
• Own and manage the annual HR calendar, coordinating payroll cycles, benefits renewals, reporting requirements and key people processes.
• Maintain and develop the HR system (PeopleHR), ensuring data accuracy, effective workflows and meaningful management information.
• Ensure HR data is managed securely and in line with data protection requirements.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the delivery of the People plan.
• Build strong working relationships across the Trust, working collaboratively within a small, supportive HR team.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR Generalist with strong operational expertise across payroll, benefits, HR systems and employee relations. You will be confident managing UK payroll, including statutory requirements, and handling employee relations matters independently and with sound judgement.

You will be highly organised and resilient, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Discreet and professional, you will handle sensitive information with care and integrity.

A clear and approachable communicator, you will build trusted relationships with managers and colleagues, offering practical advice and identifying sensible improvements where they add value.

You will hold (or be working towards) CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification or bring equivalent experience. Experience of PeopleHR (Access), working in a complex or regulated environment, or exposure to US or South Africa payroll would be advantageous.

You’ll design and develop ambitious policy solutions that can scale in the UK and influence action globally, helping ensure climate action works for people, nature and the wider economy.

You’ll contribute to developing policy frameworks that support the net zero transition across areas such as governance, power, heat, home decarbonisation, agriculture and land use. This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager to join the internationally recognised UK Cystic Fibrosis Registry team. 
 
The UK Cystic Fibrosis Registry is a database of consenting people with cystic fibrosis across the UK collecting demographic, clinical care, and health outcomes data from clinical teams in specialist centres. The Registry is a world-leading resource, the data from which is used to facilitate research, clinical trials, real-world evidence studies and quality improvement projects for the benefit of people with cystic fibrosis. 
 
We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of working with large observational data sets who can support the Registry with efficient data management and reporting processes. You will have a passion for working with healthcare data and the use of data to improve health outcomes. 
 
With excellent communication skills, you will be able to communicate your work clearly and appropriately for a wide range of audiences and be able to deliver to agreed timelines. 
 
You will join a busy, dynamic, collaborative team and work with colleagues and stakeholders both nationally and internationally. You will be passionate about supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and uniting with us to make sure that everyone can live without the limits of cystic fibrosis.

Overall Purpose
 
The Influencing Project Manager will work as part of a flexible team to develop, lead and manage the stakeholder engagement, influencing and communications elements of the Volunteering for Health programme.
 
Volunteering for Health is a £10million learning programme focused on testing, building and growing healthcare volunteering infrastructure. The programme has invested in fifteen systems across England who are navigating complex health systems to ensure that volunteering is embedded as a system wide NHS asset.
 
The team is responsible for developing and delivering the ‘learning and support’ and the ‘influencing and communications’ elements of the national programme, in partnership with NHS England and CW .
 
We have reached an exciting stage where we can turn our local learning into national change. By using the inspiring stories and impact from our programme, we want to show healthcare leaders what is possible. We are positioning our learnings to prove that volunteering infrastructure is a vital solution for a modern and sustainable health service aligned to the NHS 10-year Health Plan.
 
Overall Objectives

• Work collaboratively and strategically with a wide range of stakeholders including our member charities, NHS Trusts, VCSE organisations, funders, and government officials.
• Develop compelling narratives and high impact campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and mobilise stakeholders at every level.
• To identify and leverage cross-sector themes and opportunities to scale impact across health, social care, and the voluntary sector, underpinned by robust horizon scanning and a commitment to innovative, non-traditional problem solving.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Convene and engage stakeholders, including member charities, NHS trusts and employees, funders and evaluators, to co-produce plans collaboratively.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
• Provide support to funded partnerships, enabling their development and to become high performing.
• Represent the organisation externally, acting as a champion for NHS Charities Together and NHS charities.
• Form professional and beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders – including at a senior level, representing the department internally and externally, and bringing policy knowledge to bear to support their influencing in line with our strategic goals.
• Building and maintaining a stakeholder database to reflect the opportunities for system change at local, regional and national level.

 
Project Design and Development

• Create plans with clear objectives, time lines, milestones and budgets, ensuring that projects and campaigns are financially sustainable and cover our costs.
• Lead processes to capture and synthesise information, and insight to support the development and design of approaches.
• Proactively build knowledge and understanding in volunteering and healthcare to support wider organisational learnings in these domains.

 
Delivery and Management

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking communication and influencing plans to elevate our funded partnerships.
• Oversee workstream governance, risk management, and reporting processes, maintaining strong administration and compliance throughout.
• Regularly review and monitor impact against our strategic goals.
• Support internal resource planning to ensure efficient staffing and best use of our team.
• Manage project resources and staff effectively, fostering a collaborative team culture and supporting and developing team members to perform.
• Provide line management and support to staff as required.

 
Learning and Evaluation
