This part time Welcome Desk Team Lead role is a key operational position within the Arboretum’s Visitor Experience team. Working 30 hours per week, you’ll take the lead on the day to day running of the welcome desk, ensuring visitors receive a smooth, professional and well managed experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll work closely with the Assistant Visitor Services Manager to support delivery across the site, balancing excellent customer service with strong operational oversight.

With responsibility for guiding paid staff and volunteers, you’ll help ensure the team is confident, well-trained and able to deliver consistently high standards in a busy visitor environment.
This role would suit someone with solid experience in customer-facing operations, ideally within a visitor attraction, leisure or retail setting, who enjoys leading people and keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes. You’ll be confident handling cash, comfortable supporting volunteers, and able to adapt to changing demands across the site. - Working closely with the Membership Council Representative to act as the point of contact, focal point and voice for RBL as well as representing the unique needs of Wales to RBL
- Liaising regularly with the Welsh Government, MSs, Welsh MPs, the Veterans Commissioner for Wales, Wales-based Military bases, Reserve and Cadet Force Associations and Welsh charity partners

- Promoting and advocating RBL’s strategy in a way that is responsive to the specific context of Wales and play a significant leadership role in the development and delivery of an organisation wide Wales plan

This role is 28 hours per week, to be worked as required by the role, with the ability to work flexibly (including evenings and weekends). You will be expected to travel regularly in the course of your work, including regularly across Wales. You will be contracted to your home address, where you will be expected to work when not travelling.

The role
This role will work collaboratively within Manchester City Council’s multi-disciplinary Thriving Families Team, to support families where children are open to Child Protection or Child In Need Plans. The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will engage directly with adults responsible for causing harm, aiming to increase perpetrator accountability and encourage positive change. Through one-on-one tailored interventions, the goal is to reduce risk to both victims and children, while enhancing the perpetrator's willingness to alter harmful behaviours. The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will work collaboratively with the Thriving Families Team and other agencies, ensuring a multi-agency, whole family approach. Additionally, the worker liaises with victim/survivor services to assess risks, formulate safety plans to secure better outcomes for those impacted by domestic abuse.
About you
You’ll be confident in delivering direct work with those who use harm. This will include completing comprehensive assessments of risk and need to deliver tailored interventions. You’ll have direct experience of working therapeutically with a client group and be confident in addressing challenging and harmful behaviour. You will have experience of safeguarding processes and multi-agency working.

Facilities Supervisor Salary £32,000
On site at Southwark, there are five listed multi-function buildings: offices, residential accommodation, function space, storage/archive and the Cathedral. The RC Diocese of Southwark has its administrative services in Bowen House, the site offices and accommodation are housed across Archbishop’s House and Cathedral House with Amigo Hall being a conference/ events space. It is a complex site both in terms of the nature of the buildings and their uses.
As well as the Clergy and the Diocese staff, we also have other organisations and groups who use our premises and services, both in support of our aims and to raise funds for building maintenance.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation in this role. We have embarked on a new strategy, making changes in how we work, particularly to improve our events service. This role will focus on collaborating across these areas:
- Deliver a great service and spaces to clergy, clients, staff, and all building users

Job Purpose:

Job Responsibilities:
This job will be responsible for (this list is not exhaustive):
- Site/Facilities
- Creating daily worksheets for 4 staff and checking daily on progress, reporting back to the Head of Facilities weekly on Mondays
- Ensuring a satisfactory, physical environment for all users and, in conjunction with other interested parties, to promote the efficient use of Diocesan assets
- Supporting the planned maintenance programme and dealing with unexpected issues as they arise
- Dealing effectively with any emergency/crisis issues
- Having experience of maintenance of power/electrics, heating/cooling, entry systems, cleaning, drills/alarms and security to liaise with and support the work of third-party contractors and utility providers
- Providing decorative touch ups, repair work and general maintenance
- Lone Working, in evenings and over rostered weekends
- Health and Safety on the site and in collaboration with the Diocesan Health and Safety Team.

The Fundraising Officer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all fundraising activities and events. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in line with the Central London Samaritans' fundraising strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Hours of work:

St Giles is expanding its delivery of hospital-based projects; this service is aimed at vulnerable 10 to 25-year-olds who attend the adult or paediatric emergency department or Urgent Care Centre Whittington Hospital ED. We will work alongside hospital staff to proactively identify vulnerable young people and help them to access and engage the support they need to prevent any potential escalation of violence and reduce the risk of repeat victimisation or exploitation.
About this key role
You will be part of the Whittington Hospital Emergency Department Team meeting CYP (Children and Young People) at the point of presentation to the ED to offer support, with the aim to safeguard and reduce risk around the CYP. This support extends post-discharge from the ED or Hospital with our Caseworkers working with the CYP and the professional networks to ensure the CYP voice is front and centre, this is to support the betterment of the CYP and their future, as well as reducing risks. This is done through providing 121 support in formulating the support plan with the CYP. This can also include supporting the family and advocating for them and CYP within the wider professional network.
