About the Role
This Project Officer role is part of Bright Futures, our mentoring and employability support programme for young Gypsy and Traveller people aged 15-25. You will keep the programme organised, connected and running smoothly - managing records and systems, building partnerships, and coordinating workshops and activities so that young people can find their way in and get the most out of the support on offer.
Many of the young people we work with have faced exclusion or discrimination within mainstream education, employment and other services, and are often not in education, employment or training (NEET). The processes, systems and communications you manage all need to be accessible and responsive to young people who may be wary of formal support.
You will coordinate outreach and community engagement to bring young people into the programme, build and maintain relationships with colleges, training providers, employers and community organisations, and manage day-to-day communications with young people, families and partners. You will set up and coordinate a Youth Advisory Group, giving young people a structured way to help shape the programme. You may also be asked to cover for mentee support when a mentor is unavailable or at capacity.
This role is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
About You
This role is for someone who enjoys keeping things organised and connected, and who wants that work to make a real, practical difference in young people's lives – someone committed to supporting young people from marginalised and underserved communities to fairly access relevant opportunities.
You will be highly organised, with strong admin skills and confidence using digital tools and databases. You will also be a confident communicator, equally comfortable writing a promotional post, following up with a training provider, or having a conversation with a young person or their family.
The role is ideal for someone with experience of outreach, building partnerships or community engagement, who can build trusting relationships with a wide range of people – from young people and families to colleges, employers and community organisations. You should be open to providing support to young people when needed.
We don't expect you to already have all the answers what matters most is your admin and organisational ability, your commitment to the communities we work with, and your confidence building relationships across a wide range of people and settings. We will support your development through supervision, training and a small, collaborative team environment.
We know not everyone will meet every requirement in the job description below, but if you feel you have what it takes, please apply and tell us how your experience and skills make you suitable.
If you are not sure what the work looks like or you want to ask questions before applying, we are happy to chat with you about the role. Please contact Mini Ravi (Programme Lead) by calling on our office phone.

YEF Detached Youth Work Project Lead
Relationships change lives.
At M13 Youth Project, we believe every young person deserves trusted adults who believe in them, walk alongside them and help them discover who they are, what they have to offer and the difference they can make. For over 30 years, we've built those relationships through detached youth work - meeting young people where they choose to be, listening deeply and creating opportunities for belonging, belief and hope.
We're now looking for an experienced Detached Youth Work Project Lead to join our team and play a central role in one of the UK's most ambitious detached youth work research pilots.
M13 is leading the Greater Manchester consortium delivering the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) Detached Youth Work Pilot. The Pilot aims to build a strong evidence base for researching detached youth work, combining outstanding frontline practice with rigorous evaluation to shape the future of youth work nationally.
Reporting to the Founding Director, you'll provide the day-to-day leadership of M13's delivery of the pilot. You'll lead a small team of detached youth workers, coordinate operational delivery across intervention neighbourhoods and ensure the project is delivered safely, consistently and in line with the YEF Shared Practice Model and research requirements.
This is first and foremost a practice leadership role. You'll spend much of your week out in parks, streets and neighbourhoods, building trusted relationships with young people through high-quality detached youth work. Alongside this, you'll supervise and support colleagues, oversee monitoring and reporting, build positive relationships with community members and partner organisations, and, together with the Founding Director, work closely with the Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI) and consortium partners to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
We're looking for someone who is an experienced detached youth worker, confident leading others and passionate about relational practice. You'll be organised, reflective and proactive, with experience of supervising staff, coordinating projects, maintaining high-quality records and working collaboratively with partners. Most importantly, you'll share our belief that relationships are the foundation for meaningful change.
This is a 35-hour per week, office- and community-based role. (M13's full-time week is 37.5 hours). Your week will include six detached youth work sessions (three afternoons and three evenings), alongside team leadership, partnership working, supervision, monitoring and project coordination. Some flexibility can be offered around when office-based work is undertaken, where operationally possible.
In return, we offer a supportive, reflective and values-led working environment, regular supervision, ongoing professional development, a generous employer pension contribution, TOIL for out-of-hours working, additional Christmas gift leave and the opportunity to contribute to nationally significant research that could shape the future of detached youth work.
If you're an experienced detached youth worker ready to combine excellent frontline practice with leadership, learning and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
Please submit your CV together with answers to the five questions below, limiting your response to 250 words per question. Please do not exceed the word limit as doing so may affect the scoring of your answers. We encourage you to use examples from your own practice, explaining not only what you did, but why you made particular decisions and what you learned.
We use a blind recruitment process to help ensure fair and equitable recruitment. Applications will be shortlisted against the Person Specification, so please demonstrate how your skills, experience and values meet the requirements of the role. We welcome examples from paid or voluntary roles, and recognise that many skills are transferable.
We exist to be a consistent, trusted presence in communities experiencing deep-rooted inequality.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
Reporting to: Chief Executive
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Salary: £45,000–£48,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in an important period of development and transformation for West London Synagogue.
Working closely with the executive team, the postholder will provide coordination and project management across a range of organisational priorities and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the wider transformation programme.
The role will bring together project management, organisational performance, impact measurement, reporting and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will help turn strategic priorities into practical plans, ensure projects remain on track, and provide clear information to senior leaders and the Board about progress, performance and impact.
This is a broad and varied role for someone who enjoys working across an organisation, bringing structure to complexity and helping people turn good ideas into effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transformation and Organisational Priorities
- Play a key role in coordinating and supporting the organisation's transformation programme.
- Work with the Chief Executive, the finance and resources director and senior colleagues to translate strategic priorities into clear plans, actions, milestones and deliverables.
- Track progress against agreed priorities and identify risks, delays, dependencies and resource pressures.
- Identify connections and opportunities for collaboration between different projects and programmes.
- Support colleagues in embedding new processes, systems and ways of working arising from the transformation programme.
- Ensure that agreed decisions are translated into clear actions, ownership and follow-through.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, learning and accountability.
The postholder will not be expected to manage every change initiative directly. Their role will be to provide structure, coordination and visibility across the transformation programme, working with colleagues who own individual projects and areas of work.
2. Project Management
- Plan, coordinate and deliver a range of organisational projects in line with agreed priorities and timelines.
- Develop proportionate project plans setting out objectives, milestones, deliverables, responsibilities, dependencies and measures of success.
- Coordinate internal teams, volunteers, partners and external stakeholders where required.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops and reviews.
- Maintain clear project documentation, actions and decision logs.
Projects are likely to vary in scale and nature and may include organisational improvement, systems and process development, governance, member services, operational change, programme development and cross-team initiatives.
3. Organisational Performance and Data
- Collect, analyse and interpret data to understand project and organisational performance and impact
- Develop clear and proportionate dashboards and management information.
- Identify trends, gaps, risks and areas requiring attention.
- Work with colleagues to establish meaningful KPIs and measures of success.
- Ensure information is accurate, appropriately managed and compliant with relevant data protection requirements.
4. Board and Senior Leadership Reporting
- Coordinate the preparation of clear, concise and meaningful reports for the Board.
- Establish and maintain an effective reporting timetable.
- Track actions and decisions arising from Board and committee meetings and ensure appropriate follow-up.
The emphasis will be on insight rather than simply reporting activity — helping leaders and trustees understand what is happening, why it matters and where action is required.
5. Governance, Compliance and Policies
- Maintain and regularly update the organisational compliance log, duties and mitigation plans.
- Monitor progress against compliance requirements and highlight emerging risks.
- Support colleagues to ensure compliance actions are followed through.
- Develop, review and update organisational policies and operational procedures.
6. Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination
- Build effective working relationships across the organisation.
- Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, trustees, partners and external stakeholders.
- Bring people together where projects or priorities cross organisational boundaries.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and project reviews where required.
- Communicate progress, challenges, risks and successes clearly and appropriately.
Person Specification

You will have:
- Proven experience managing projects and delivering organisational change or improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing several projects or workstreams simultaneously.

- The ability to take a project from initial idea and scoping through to implementation and evaluation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail while retaining an understanding of the bigger picture.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership and use good judgement.
- Confidence working in an environment where priorities can change and not everything is fully defined.
Desirable
- Experience supporting an organisational transformation or change programme.
- Experience working in a charity, synagogue, community organisation, social enterprise or other purpose-led organisation.
- Experience working with Boards, trustees or governance committees.
- Experience developing organisational dashboards or management information.
- Experience in impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
- Understanding of governance, compliance and data protection requirements, including GDPR.
- Experience developing policies and operational procedures.

You’ll work directly with residents who may be navigating challenges linked to mental health, substance use, trauma or contact with the criminal justice system. Through strengths-based support planning and clear risk management, you’ll help individuals identify goals, overcome barriers and take practical steps forward. From supporting someone to engage with treatment, to sustaining a tenancy or accessing training and employment, your work will focus on realistic, sustainable progress.
Day to day, you’ll build trusted relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You’ll keep accurate records, respond calmly in challenging situations and contribute to a psychologically informed environment where people feel respected and motivated to change.
This role is about creating momentum. By helping residents move from crisis towards stability, you’ll play a key part in freeing up hostel spaces for others in urgent need and strengthening SHP’s mission to end homelessness for good. If you’re resilient, person-centred and motivated by seeing people take meaningful steps forward, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact every day.

- A non-judgemental approach to working with multi-disadvantaged clients and to promote a strengths-based approach.
- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering service objectives across work specialisms.
- Experience helping people to identify personal goals and supporting them through a process of change, including managing challenging situations in relation to people, including responding calmly to crisis and deal promptly, effectively and safely to complex situations.
- Strong time management skills, ability to work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.
- Willingness and ability to work on a rota system of early and late shifts, which may include some variable hours including some evenings and weekends.
About us:
We’re London’s leading homelessness charity – and we get things done.
In a city where hundreds are forced into homelessness every day, our work has never been more needed or more challenging. And we’re not shying away. We prevent homelessness, provide safe places to live and give people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures. And we never give up.
We’re here for Londoners wherever they are on their journey. We start with trust, building relationships that help people feel safe, supported, and ready to move forward. Every day, we put people first in everything we do, challenging injustice and barriers that keep people from the safety, stability and opportunity they deserve. We stand alongside people as they rebuild and shape a future that feels their own.
Joining Single Homeless Project means joining a team that’s bold, compassionate and determined to do better for the people we support and for each other. You’ll work alongside colleagues with lived experience, in a space that’s trans-inclusive, disability-friendly, and actively striving to be anti-oppressive and equitable.
We’re not perfect, but we’re real. We listen. We learn. And we push forward, together. Because this isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to lead with empathy, spark change, and help build a London where no one is left behind.

Join SafeLives and help transform the response to domestic abuse across the UK.
As our Project Manager (Drive Partnership), you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and growth of one of the UK's leading programmes working with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. Through effective project management, governance and partnership working, you will help ensure that services are delivered consistently, meet their objectives and contribute to safer outcomes for victims, survivors and their families.
Working closely with colleagues across The Drive Partnership, SafeLives, Respect, Social Finance, commissioners and delivery partners, you will coordinate multiple project workstreams, monitor progress against project plans and support effective programme governance. You will help manage risks, oversee compliance processes, contribute to funder reporting and support the development of systems and processes that strengthen programme delivery. You will also play an important role in facilitating collaboration between partners and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
We're looking for someone with strong project management experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams. You'll be confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful social change. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and values-led organisation while contributing to the work of The Drive Partnership, which is transforming the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. An understanding of the importance of partnership working, systems change and victim-survivor safety is essential.
About SafeLives We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone, for good. We work with organisations across the UK to transform the response to domestic abuse. We want what you would want for your best friend. We listen to survivors, putting their voices at the heart of our thinking. We look at the whole picture for each individual and family to get the right help at the right time to make families everywhere safe and well. And we challenge perpetrators to change, asking ‘why doesn’t he stop?’ rather than ‘why doesn’t she leave?’ This applies whatever the gender of the victim or perpetrator and whatever the nature of their relationship.
Last year alone, we delivered more than 700 sessions to over 15,000 learners across the UK in policing, health, housing, justice, education and the specialist sector. And we have reached 90,000 adult and 100,000 child survivors through programmes designed and delivered with partners.
In the last 9 years, close to 7,000 perpetrators have been challenged and supported to change through flagship interventions developed by The Drive Partnership and the programme continues to expand year on year.
Together we can end domestic abuse. Forever. For everyone.
