About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Head of Design and Impact to lead WWF-UK’s work on programme design, impact measurement and learning, ensuring our strategies, programmes and projects deliver meaningful outcomes for people and nature.

In this role, you’ll lead a specialist team providing expert advice and quality assurance across the organisation, supporting strong programme design, effective monitoring and evaluation, and the embedding of WWF’s Environmental and Social Safeguards. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, portfolio leads and teams across conservation, policy, advocacy and fundraising, helping ensure impact is clearly evidenced and learning is embedded in how we work.

You’ll also play a senior advisory role, providing assurance to the Executive Group and Trustees on the quality of programme design and impact reporting, and working with the wider WWF network to strengthen approaches to impact, learning and accountability.

This is a senior leadership role for someone with deep expertise in design, monitoring and evaluation, strong people leadership skills, and the confidence to influence across complex programmes and stakeholders in a global context.

Essential

• Significant experience leading the design, monitoring, evaluation and learning of strategies, programmes or projects in a conservation, development or policy context

• Proven experience leading and developing specialist teams, including performance management and creating a strong learning culture

• Strong expertise in programme and project design, quality assurance and evidence of impact

• Experience embedding environmental and social safeguards, including safeguarding and ethical standards, into programme design and delivery

• Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders, including Directors, Executive leadership or Trustees

• Strong facilitation and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance

• Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and disciplines, including with fundraising and partnerships

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data and evidence meaningful for different audiences

We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our service based in Basildon, Essex. As the Circles Study and Salon Site Manager, you will be responsible for overall leadership of the service, day to day operations and development of the future provision. In this role you will lead the tutors, empowering and enabling them to deliver high quality support for our students by setting high standards for work and reflecting this to our external partners through effective communication, evidencing outcomes that are in line with, and exceed, contractual requirements. Whizz Kidz is seeking an experienced, creative and strategic Social Media & Content Manager to lead our content and digital storytelling across all channels. This role combines hands-on content creation with strategic oversight, giving you ownership of how Whizz Kidz tells its story to inspire, engage and mobilise audiences. 

You will manage the development and delivery of multimedia content - from video, photography and graphics to written storytelling - while leading our social media strategy, and website content. PMRGCAuk is a small national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and giant cell arteritis (GCA). We have a big impact, supporting patients with our small staff team and with the help of a proactive team of volunteers and working closely with leading rheumatologists and researchers to improve diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Fundraising Officer.

Key focus of the role

This is a newly created role designed to develop and support our fundraising activities, particularly in the areas of legacy fundraising and grants and trusts, as well as increasing our membership, working alongside our small team. We are a small charity with big ambitions and this role is designed to help us grow and become sustainable in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Legacies:

· To develop a comprehensive legacy fundraising strategy and workflow, in collaboration with the Director and the Fundraising Committee.

· To work with colleagues to raise the profile of legacy fundraising, including production of materials, social media content, website development, etc.

· Work across the charity to ensure legacies are integrated across relevant channels to reach key audiences

· Build a portfolio of case studies in conjunction with the Deputy Director to showcase how legacy giving has impacted the community

Trust and Grants

· Identify and research a pipeline of potential Trust and Grant funders to secure financial support for the charity

· Work with the Director, trustees and other colleagues to develop fundraising applications for new and existing projects

· Develop compelling funding applications with service-user insight to Trust and Grant funders

River Thames Boat Project

Job title: Fundraising Manager

Salary: £35,000 pro rata

Hours: 3 days (22.5 hours) per week

Location: Home based with expectation of regular attendance at office (Teddington), some evenings and weekends for events and funder meetings when required.

Summary

This exciting new role will raise the funds to enable The River Thames Boat Project to expand our cruises and education programme on the River Thames, and cover our annual running costs.

Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of raising capital funds, building relationships with individuals, community groups, trusts and foundations and other donors to achieve and exceed annual capital and income targets. You will have the skills to create compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.

Background

Established in 1988, our charity's mission is to make the River Thames accessible to all.

We provide opportunities for individuals to experience river and waterways environments to enhance their personal, social, and educational wellbeing.

Using our fully wheelchair-accessible community boats we deliver educational programmes for children and young people across London and the South East, and therapeutic cruises for people of all ages who have limited access to the Thames due to health issues, disabilities, isolation or social exclusion.

A small staff team of four and more than 100 volunteers support the charity. In 2021, we received The Queens Award for Voluntary Service. The charity, more than thirty five years old, is run by a volunteer Board of Trustees.

We rely on grants, donations and community fundraising to subsidise the cost of our charitable activities on the River Thames.

We are seeking a fundraising professional to grow our charitable income across all streams (grants, foundations, corporate sponsors), raise significant capital funds, reinvigorate our members program, diversify our fundraising income and establish a volunteer fundraising committee.

As Fundraising Manager you will also be responsible for marketing the charity to prospective clients through mailings, social media and other routes.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and execute a fundraising strategy that aligns with the charity's business plan and future ambitions
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing funders
3. Research potential trust and foundation funders, write compelling bids and ensure effective reporting and stewardship
4. Revitalise the charity's members' program (Friends of RTBP)
5. Create and lead a volunteer fundraising committee to support our initiatives.
6. Ensure effective records are kept and a database developed for fundraising and the members' program
7. Ensure all fundraising is compliant with GDPR and other legal and best practice standards
8. Develop and implement marketing plans for the charity's cruises and education work
9. Attend the Trustee finance and fundraising committee and produce reports on activities and income as required

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in raising capital and income for small to medium size charities from multiple sources
2. Self-motivated and proactive with great interpersonal skills to work with staff members, volunteers, trustees, and external funders from individual to corporate donors
3. Proven ability to research funders, write compelling bids and manage relationships with funders

5. An interest or link with the Thames or environmental activities is desirable

Following a successful application to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, we are seeking a Youth Worker to lead on systems change as part of our Brighter Rainbow Project. The Communications Manager plays a key role in increasing the reach, visibility, and impact of the organisation’s work. The post-holder will lead on creating high-quality, audience-focused communications across digital platforms, ensuring all content reflects the organisation’s values, brand, and strategic priorities.

Working closely with colleagues and sector stakeholders, the role involves managing social media, newsletters, and the website; supporting events and campaigns; and communicating the impact of the NBO and NBAS within the newborn and perinatal field. The successful candidate will combine creativity, strong organisational skills, and sector awareness to deliver engaging, relevant, and impactful communications.

Suitability

1. Digital and Communications Platforms Management

Use this content across social media, newsletters, and the website to showcase the organisation’s impact.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trainers, champions, international colleagues, bursary awardees, and partner organisations, to support communications activities such as guest articles, talks, and dissemination through their networks.
• Sector awareness: Maintain awareness of developments within the newborn, perinatal, and ‘1001 days’ field (including policy, NHS services, government initiatives, and charitable activities) to ensure communications remain current.
• Awareness campaigns: Support relevant awareness days and weeks throughout the year, primarily via social media, contributing a Brazelton-informed voice to wider sector themes and discussions.
• Baby Communication Week: Plan and deliver Baby Communication Week, the organisation’s annual awareness campaign, ensuring strong thematic focus and high-quality events to maximise educational impact and engagement.
• Strategic initiatives: Support additional initiatives that increase the reach, visibility, and impact of the organisation’s work in line with strategic objectives.

3. Content Creation and Brand Compliance

• Visual content: Use design tools such as Canva to produce visual assets — including graphics, videos, and, on occasion, printed materials such as posters — for social media, newsletters, the website, and events, ensuring all content is visually engaging and aligned with the organisation’s branding.
• Written content: Create written copy for a variety of channels, including newsletters, social media posts and captions, website pages, blogs, and promotional materials, ensuring all content is clear, engaging, and consistent with the organisation’s tone of voice.
• Ensure all communications comply with the organisation’s branding and communications policy, providing guidance and support to team members as required.

4. Events and Programme Administration

•  Online events: Assist with the organisation of Brazelton online events, such as quarterly Inform & Inspire Sessions, including setting up Eventbrite ticketing/booking pages, managing Zoom sessions, recording events, and uploading content to YouTube for catch-up.
•  In-person events: Support the planning and delivery of occasional in-person events, including representing the organisation at external exhibitions and contributing to the Brazelton Centre UK 30th anniversary conference in 2027.
• Bursary schemes: Assist with the administration of annual bursary schemes, including setting up application forms, managing submissions, promoting the schemes, and corresponding with applicants and awardees.

One of two Outreach and Project Workers pivotal to the delivery of an exciting new Women at Risk (WaR) project which will support women at risk of rough sleeping, homelessness and exploitation. Working across key areas of Enfield and Haringey you will, through a combination of nighttime outreach and daytime service provision, be critical to supporting a coordinated response across multiple agencies already engaged in this work.

Together Women Leeds provides holistic wraparound support to women and girls and specialises in supporting women involved with the criminal justice system, through 1:1 Keywork, group programmes and access to specialist gender-specific support via TW Women’s Centres.

We are seeking an individual with a proactive, compassionate, collaborative approach. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and highly organised, brings strong reporting skills, and is a great relationship builder. Experience of working in the women’s sector or the criminal justice system is desirable, but not essential – most importantly we’re looking for an outstanding manager.

At Together Women, staff wellbeing is a priority. With the support of a Senior Keyworker, you will ensure our staff team are effectively managed, supported and encouraged to develop within their roles, enabling them to provide high quality, trauma-responsive support.

You will be responsible for the management of a range of services, ensuring high quality standards are consistently met and partnerships are established and maintained. You will lead the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the Bradford Centre, which is funded by a range of commissioners both statutory and non-statutory.
