About the Independent Living Programme
Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme (ILP) is delivering 300 genuinely affordable homes across London and Greater Manchester for young people moving on from homelessness. With 50 homes already built and £23m secured, the Independent Living Capital Appeal is raising a further £27m to complete the programme.
The Role
The Independent Living Capital Appeal Manager will play a key role in delivering this ambitious programme. You will be responsible for helping to deliver the £27m appeal target by managing and growing a portfolio of high-value donors and grant-makers, securing five and six figure gifts, and developing a strong pipeline of new prospects.
Working closely with the Head of Independent Living Appeal, you will lead the cultivation and solicitation of high-value supporters while delivering an outstanding donor experience. You will also work closely with development and programme colleagues to align fundraising with live housing developments and future pipeline opportunities.

Role Purpose
The Fundraising & Marketing team's purpose is to advocate for and raise flexible and unrestricted funding to enable Womankind to deliver it's 2030 organisational strategy.
This post will support the growth of trusts and foundations income by carrying out prospect research, preparing proposals and reports for small and medium-sized donors, and cultivating and stewarding new and existing donor relationships to secure long-term income for Womankind.
Areas of responsibilities:
Prospect research – Co-ordinate the prospect research requirements for trusts and foundations, working closely with the Philanthropy Manager – Foundations, produce clear and relevant donor profiles and where relevant, make recommendations for donor cultivation and development
Proposal and report development - Produce and send high quality, engaging and relevant applications and reports to trusts and foundations and develop and maintain efficient ways of keeping existing and prospective donors up to date and engaged on the work of Womankind.
Donor relationship management - Establish and manage long term, effective and values-aligned relationships with existing and prospective trust and foundation donors by providing excellent donor and supporter care. Maintain prompt and personalised thanking to donors.
Event management support - Work with the Philanthropy Manager – Foundations and Philanthropy Manager – Corporate Partnerships to coordinate a range of cultivation and engagement events for key donors including researching venues, co-ordinating invitation process and guest list management, liaising with relevant staff and post-event follow up.

Person Specification
Essential Experience:
• Minimum of two years experience in a fundraising role, with a focus on relationship-based fundraising, ideally trusts and foundations
• Experience and a proven track record of growing income from trusts and foundations
• Demonstrable experience of prospect research
• Proven ability to write compelling proposals and reports communicating complex project information to donors
• Proven ability to form good working relationships with colleagues across the organisation
• Proven experience using a fundraising database (ideally Beacon) to maintain accurate donor records, manage invitation guest lists for events, and extract data for donor reporting and prospect tracking

Job Description
This role reports directly to the Volunteering Programmes Manager.
Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Volunteering Programmes Manager

The role of BOP spans project development (working with Government and others to design and launch the service), project management (coordinating the delivery phase, managing performance, and liaising with the various stakeholders) and project finance (funding the project until it starts to earn outcomes payments). Our own funding comes from a group of pioneering social investors, including The Office for Civil Society, Big Society Capital, Pilotlight, Trust for London, who, like us, are motivated by improving lives and changing the system for the better.
About the role
In 2018 Bridges Outcomes Partnerships co-designed the Single Homelessness Prevention service with Brent Council following the Homelessness Reduction Act (2018). The service provides early intervention to prevent or relieve homelessness for single people who previously would not have received support, aiming to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness and stop individuals reaching crisis point.
Our services continue to evolve into models that combine homelessness prevention, refugee support, and family stability interventions to improve life chances for vulnerable people and reduce the long-term impacts of housing instability and child poverty.
The Referral & Assessment Officer is a key role within the London Partnership, it is the first point of contact for people who have experienced trauma or are struggling to find a home.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for the following activities within this element of the service
· Receiving inbound referrals into the London central point of access, ensuing all data points are completed and case assessed to ensure referral to the right delivery partner/service.
· Reviewing and processing referrals into the online referral portal, triaging to the most appropriate service for them.
· Ensure that referrals are triaged and allocated to a specialist organisation within the agreed timeframes
· Inputting and processing self-referrals into the SHPS case management system
· Identify, record and refer any immediate safeguarding concerns through the appropriate pathways
· Ensuring the case management system is maintained through timely and accurate record keeping
· Build strong, positive and collaborative relationships with relevant agencies to enable effective referral pathways into specialist services within the partnership and to external services
· Work closely with the Programme Manager to provide details on referral activity and outline any issues or opportunities which might need intervention.
· Ensure the service is accessible to all, recognising peoples’ differences, experiences, communication/language and accessibility needs
· Provide regular reporting to programme lead and commissioners.
