This role is a full time, working on a hybrid basis with two days per week from our office in Boscombe. Due to the nature of the role, regular travel across the Dorset county will be required.

About the Role

As a CHIDVA you will provide high quality support to children and young people who have been subjected to domestic violence and abuse. You will deliver and provide support in five key areas to support children and young people to:

• Feel safer
• Feel informed about their rights and the criminal justice system
• Feel listened to and heard
• Be able to implement healthy coping mechanisms
• Be connected with services who are available to help them

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to children, young people and their families via their preferred contact method.
• Undertake needs and risk assessments to develop tailored individual safety and support plans to address the specific needs of the victim.
• Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential record keeping and contribute to the collection of outcomes.
• Liaise with the police, social services, CPS, schools, colleges and other agencies on the client's behalf, with the client's consent maintaining confidentiality
• Provide information to children & young people to enable them to make informed choices about their future options. Ensuring that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of children and young people are heard and understood by all individuals and organisations.

About You:

Ideally, you will hold an approved and accredited CHIDVA qualification (or you must be willing to work towards one)

You will need:

• A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has on children and young people.
• Experience of working with children and young people including completing risk assessments and safety planning
• Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.
• Experience of adapting communication styles to be able to effectively communicate with children, young people and their families
• An understanding of trauma informed practice and how to implement this within your work
• A through understanding of the criminal justice system and the Victim's Code
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and other legal requirements
• Good IT skills including experience with working within bespoke case management systems and using Microsoft Office Packages.
• Organised and methodical approach to work with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As Clinical Lead forData and Digital, you will provide authoritative clinical insight across a wideportfolio of digital, data, AI and informatics work. You will help ensurepolicy positions, guidance, research activity and external communications are groundedin credible, current clinical expertise.
You will play avisible role, advising on national policy proposals, supporting specialistinterest groups, contributing to research programmes (including major datapartnerships), and helping strengthen digital capability and confidence acrossthe GP workforce.

What You'll Be Doing
Policy Influence & Clinical Insight

• Provide expert clinical leadership on digital and data policy affecting general practice.
• Conduct horizon scanning on emerging issues (e.g., AI, voice technology in consultation rooms, data handling challenges, interoperability).
• Shape organisational positions across campaigns, policy and external communications.
• Represent the College at national committees including the Joint GP IT Committee (RCGP-BMA).
• Advise and challenge government proposals relating to NHS digital and data reforms.
• Engage with specialist interest groups (Health Informatics SIG, AI SIG), helping prioritise activity within realistic resource constraints.
• Support devolved nation teams on UK-wide policy consultations.

Guidance, Education & WorkforceCapability

• Help develop guidance, resources, and e-learning on digital, data and AI issues.
• Identify capability gaps among GP members and advise on relevant training needs.
• Ensure digital and data content aligns with educational and CPD priorities across the College.

Research, Data Use & Innovation

• Provide expertise to research programmes using GP data, ensuring ethical, regulatory and professional compliance.
• Support the nationally significant Research and Surveillance Centre, including work with the University of Oxford.
• Promote trust, transparency and confidence in the use of GP data for research and surveillance.
• Advise on evaluating and scaling digital innovations in general practice.

What We're Looking For
Essential

• Qualified GP (GMC registered and in good standing).
• Experience in health informatics, digital projects, or data-related work in general practice.
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
• Good understanding of UK health data policy, GDPR, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex information clearly, including supporting data visualisation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and communication.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively with limited time and resources.

Desirable

• Postgraduate qualification in informatics or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing clinical guidance or educational resources.
• Experience working on regional or national digital health initiatives (NHS England, ICBs, ALBs, think tanks, etc.).

Holy Trinity Church (HT) is a vibrant, growing church in the centre of Cambridge with a lively and expanding children and families ministry. In the three years before lockdown, the children’s ministry – HT Kids – doubled in size, and the growth has continued post lockdown. We have 180 children aged 0–11 who regularly attend on a Sunday and over 95 families who call HT their spiritual home. The vision of HT Kids is to see children come to know Jesus for themselves and grow in all that he has for them. We also want to see kids joyfully inviting friends to meet Jesus for themselves. We have over 50 volunteers from the church family – young people, undergraduates, and adults – who serve regularly to help make that vision a reality. 

Alongside the Senior Children’s Pastor, you will be responsible for pastoring the children aged 0–Year 2 with their families, for bringing hands-on leadership to the wider team involved in HT Kids and to reach out to children and families in Cambridge who don’t yet know Jesus. A major part of this role will be managing staff and volunteers to increase their confidence and fruitfulness as they work with children. You will be a leader of leaders, with a heart to invest in and facilitate the ministry of others.

About the opportunity

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work alongside budget holders across Alzheimer's Society, turning complex financial information into clear insights that support better decision-making. In a role where every pound matters in the fight against dementia, you'll help ensure our resources reach the places they can have the most impact, whether that's funding groundbreaking research, delivering vital support services, or campaigning for systemic change.

You'll build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, providing the financial analysis, challenge and support they need to navigate complexity with confidence. Through coaching and partnership, you'll help budget holders strengthen their own financial capability, so that sound financial thinking becomes part of how the Society operates, not something that sits only within Finance.

You'll be part of our Finance and Assurance directorate, where our vision is to be the Society's single point of truth. Working within the Financial Partnering, Planning and Analysis function, you'll be the dedicated finance partner for our Income and Engagement directorate, connecting Finance with the teams responsible for growing and protecting the Society's income. You'll translate their plans into sound financial frameworks that enable our mission rather than hold it back.

You'll already have or be open to developing a deep understanding of how fundraised, legacy and restricted income flows through the Society, and you'll use that specialism to add real value to the teams responsible for growing and stewarding our income.

About you

You're a finance professional with proven business partnering experience who understands that effective partnering means combining accurate numbers with clear communication, constructive challenge and a genuine interest in helping others see the bigger picture. You're comfortable working across boundaries, building relationships at all levels, and coaching colleagues to develop their financial confidence.

You'll have:

- A relevant professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), either fully or part qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Experience supporting business teams with budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes, including ensuring appropriate controls are in place and financial performance is communicated effectively and on time.
- A track record of applying analytical skills to provide financial advice that supports strategic decision-making.
- Experience of identifying and collecting feedback and other data to inform quality improvement and to monitor the performance of processes or tools.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and present it in a way that tells a clear story.
- The confidence to challenge, negotiate and influence, while taking a balanced view that incorporates different perspectives.
- Experience working with ERP systems. Experience with Unit4 would be particularly valuable, though it is not essential.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities, while knowing when to consult and when to ask for support.

It would be particularly valuable if you also bring:

- Experience partnering with income-generating, fundraising, marketing or engagement functions within a non-profit or charity setting.
- An understanding of restricted fund accounting and the financial management of legacy income.

What you'll focus on

- Partnering with budget holders across your assigned directorate to provide analysis, insight and recommendations that support effective, informed decision-making.
- Preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts and business plans, and modelling financial data to support operational and strategic priorities.
- Supporting and challenging budget holders to identify risks and opportunities early, escalating appropriately and agreeing remedial action where needed.
- Strengthening financial knowledge and confidence across your stakeholder group through coaching, training and a partnership-based approach.
- Working collaboratively across the Finance team to design intuitive reports and analysis that meet the needs of colleagues across the Society.
- Advocating good accounting principles and helping to educate, inform and develop others within your directorate and the wider Finance team.
- Identifying cost saving or optimisation opportunities, working closely with colleagues in Procurement and Sustainability to realise these.
- Supporting Senior Business Partners in identifying key performance metrics and collecting routine feedback from partners across the Society to drive constant quality improvement.

You may also line manage a Finance Business Partnering Assistant, role-modelling a high challenge, high support culture where accountability, performance and development go hand in hand.
