Legasee is a charity committed to ensuring that future generations can learn about our history through the personal recollections of the men and women who witnessed it first-hand. We provide students, teachers and researchers with unique access to a high-definition video archive of interviews with veterans and civilians connected to British military conflict from 1939 to the present day.

We are now seeking to recruit a committed and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of a major new oral history project focusing on the Aden Emergency, made possible thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. At its heart, the project will record the oral histories of 30–40 veterans and civilians whose lives were shaped by service in, or connection to, Aden during the final years of British rule.

Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Officer will play a key role in the on-the-ground delivery of the project in Blackpool and the wider Northwest. The role has a particular focus on face-to-face volunteer coordination and the digitisation of archival material from the Aden Veterans Association, alongside supporting local events, interview days and community engagement activity.

The Project Officer will act as a local point of contact for volunteers, veterans and partner organisations, ensuring that activity is well organised, welcoming and delivered to a high standard. This is a practical, people-facing role, suited to someone who enjoys working directly with communities and supporting volunteers to develop new skills and confidence.

The recorded testimonies and digitised materials will form a permanent digital archive, supporting public engagement, interpretation and learning, and ensuring that the experiences of those connected to the Aden Emergency are preserved for future generations. The Project Officer will support quality assurance, accessibility and good archival practice throughout this process.

Education and community engagement are central to the project. The Project Officer will contribute to activity delivered in partnership with local schools, libraries and community groups, helping to create meaningful opportunities for people to engage with oral history and local heritage.

The role is home-based but requires regular in-person working in Blackpool and the surrounding area, including attendance at volunteer sessions, events and meetings. Flexibility around working hours is essential to meet the practical needs of the project.

• To support the delivery of the project in line with the requirements of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the agreed evaluation framework
• To coordinate and support volunteers involved in digitisation, events and local project activity
• To act as a local liaison with veterans, partners and community organisations

About the role

The member subscriptions officer manages the administration and finance of NCVO’s membership subscriptions. Key duties include running monthly renewals, issuing invoices, managing payments and reducing aged debt. The role involves regular use of NCVO’s CRM system to ensure accurate records and efficient processes.

The post holder will handle member enquiries, support new applications and maintain strong relationships with members. Working closely with NCVO’s Finance team, they will ensure timely direct debit collections and contribute to income tracking and forecasting.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, numerate, and confident using databases, with experience in financial administration and customer service.

We are looking for a highly motivated Building Surveyor (MRICS, MCIOB) or significant demonstrable experience in retail building surveying with a successful track record in managing repair, refurbishment, and fit-out projects within an extensive property portfolio to join our team.

As our Regional Building Surveyor, you'll manage our Retail Division's property portfolio in the South East region, spanning 220+ leasehold shops and stores.

Your region will cover the South East, of England including parts of East Anglia, London and the home counties, Southampton and east along the coast.

You’ll deliver a full range of building surveying services, both reactive and planned maintenance, including:

About you

Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Gift Aid Manager is to oversee the management and administration of Gift Aid, and other forms of tax-efficient giving, to maximise MSF UK’s income. Based in North Kensington, Dalgarno Trust is a vibrant community centre supporting local residents of all ages through health, wellbeing, education, training, and youth programmes. As Head of Fundraising and Development, you will be a key member of our Core Team, working closely with the Chief Executive to secure and manage the resources that enable our work. This is a varied and hands-on role combining fundraising, CRM management, marketing and communications, and organisational administration, offering the opportunity to make a visible and lasting impact.

You will lead on researching and writing funding bids, managing relationships with funders, and ensuring that monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements are met. You will oversee and develop our CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring high-quality data, producing reports, and supporting colleagues through training. You will also play a central role in diversifying income through donations, sponsorships, commercial activity, and use of our assets.

Alongside fundraising, you will lead our marketing, communications, and promotion, keeping our website, social media, and noticeboards up to date, and ensuring our work is clearly and effectively communicated to the wider community. The role also includes administrative and HR support, such as assisting with recruitment processes, timesheets, training coordination, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice.

About You:

As the Co-production Co-ordinator you will lead on promoting and developing the co-production element of the London Service. You will manage and chair the Experts by Experience Panel which is the forum through which current and past service users can influence the development of the London DA Service (Safe Horizons London Partnership).

The Safe Horizons London Partnership supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse to cope and recover from the impact crime has had on them, as well as supporting their journey through the criminal justice process. The service delivery model has been shaped by the views of service users and you will have an important role in growing their input and influence. You will recruit co-production champions from the staff team and support them to promote the benefits of co-production and recruit more service users into the co-production function.

Safeguarding and wellbeing are important to us and you will ensure service users are supported during their membership of the Experts by Experience Panel. As a lead in this area, you will work with the management team, sharing the feedback you have obtained and helping it feed into policies and procedures. The role

As Head of Operations, you will lead all operational functions of Foxglove. You will ensure that our finance, HR, legal compliance, fundraising, systems and internal processes enable the organisation to carry out its mission effectively. We are looking for an experienced administrator and grant writer who is passionate about migrants’ rights and democratic reform to start working in March 2026.

We are looking for a part-time Operations and Fundraising Manager to support our Executive Director and staff team in the day to day operations of the organisation, including office tasks, support with reporting and fundraising, diary management and administrative support.

Migrant Democracy Project’s office is in Vauxhall, London. Staff have daily access to the office and the team co-works from there regularly. This role can be done remotely, however, we expect the role-holder to join the team in-person for strategy days which happen every few months.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strategic Operations and Fundraising Manager who can skillfully identify the organisational and team needs and can propose and implement solutions, ranging from project management tools, HR systems, and other systems tools. Lead the Operational Management of Migrant Democracy Project

Safeguarding

MSF UK/IE is dedicated to safeguarding everyone who comes into contact with the organisation, for whatever reason and however brief. All posts are subject to safer recruitment process which include robust reference requests, scrutiny of employment history and where applicable criminal record and barring checks.

Our safeguarding commitment is underpinned by policies and procedures which encourage and promote safe working practice across the organisation. On joining MSF UK/IE you will be required to attend safeguarding training to ensure responsibility for and maintaining safe working practice and to safeguard our teams, beneficiaries, and communities.
