Contract: Temporary, ongoing
Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours over 3 days per week
Salary: £19.06 per hour + holiday (£37,275 salaried FTE)

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a temporary Economics and Research Analyst. The organisation is a research and policy institute with a focus on ageing, campaigning against ageism and striving to improve the experience of ageing in the UK. The role will be varied, but the primary focus will be on labour market analysis, specifically using literature and evidence reviews, and creating a Power BI dashboard. There will also be an opportunity for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting with the development and updating of policy, including ensuring evidence is clear and accessible
- Keeping organisational knowledge current and relevant, with regular reviews and analysis of the state of ageing
- Producing, analysing, and utilising research, including assisting with new potential funding opportunities
- Creating impactful and engaging communications regarding policy positions, and building relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Wider support within the organisation, including fundraising activities and cross-team collaboration
Requirements:
- A relevant background within economics or research (with labour market analysis experience)
- Excellent understanding of UK public policy processes and ageing-related issues
- Strong ability to analyse, synthesise, and utilise data
- Unparalleled written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence using digital tools (especially Microsoft products, with a focus on Power BI; Stata or R are also used)
- A proactive and highly organised nature

This is a crucial and strategic role for our charity as we require an expert product manager to lead and manage our Salesforce platform, delivering configuration, insight, reporting and training.
The Salesforce Product Manager is responsible for leading the ongoing development, administration and improvement of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it supports all areas of our charity, including fundraising, operations, finance and grant management.
The post holder is required to act as the trusted Salesforce partner for all users, translating needs into scalable solutions, managing change and delivering insight, training as well as data-driven improvements to help the charity achieve its strategic goals and objectives. This role requires independent ownership, strong stakeholder partnership skills and the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.

Outline of Role
The job holder will work closely with the Head of Programmes and the Facilitator & Content Design Manager to coordinate and deliver high-quality, transformational reconciliation programming and events in the UK and abroad.
This role would ideally suit – but is not limited to – candidates at an early stage in their career with demonstrable interest in religion and peacebuilding, seeking a role that will generate a broad range of experiences and with considerable scope for professional development and increased responsibility as RCF enters a period of sustained growth.
