Mansfield’s annual giving programme is central to the College’s ongoing success and generates vital and significant income for the College every year for every aspect of life and work within our academic community. The Development Manager is a senior role within the College’s Development & Alumni Relations team and has responsibility for executing an annual giving strategy that includes telephone campaigns; online giving days using compelling social media content to drive support; direct mail appeals; and encouraging membership of Mansfield’s 1886 Circle. This role is also responsible for ensuring engaging stewardship opportunities for donors to the College at all levels.

The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking a talented and driven Trusts and Foundations Co-ordinator to help the Development team deliver growing, sustainable fundraised income. Working closely with an experienced senior grant-writer, the Trusts and Foundations Co-ordinator will steward existing funders and develop funding applications for:

• Our programme of 150 concerts a year, including landmark multi-disciplinary concert series; 

• Our award-winning Learning & Engagement projects that engage over 15,000 people annually;

• Our talent development programme through which we help improve representation in the talent pipeline;

• Our sector-leading visionary digital and immersive technology programme including our multi-award winning and globally recognised Virtual Orchestra (VR) immersive experiences.

This role will suit someone ready to move on from an entry-level position within a Development team, keen to work in a fast-paced environment, and enthusiastic about taking on their own set of fundraising targets and application deliverables. Key Responsibilities and Tasks

The primary responsibilities of the Trusts and Foundations Co-ordinator are fundraising from and stewarding Trusts and Foundations, achieved by undertaking the following tasks:

1. Delivering the Trusts and Foundations fundraising strategy, with a particular focus on:

• Identification and cultivation:

• Producing lists of prospects to share with the Development Board, via the Director of Development.

• Identifying opportunities for cultivation at projects, events and concerts.

• Application development:

• Responsibility for developing small to mid-range Trust, Foundation and statutory applications up to £25,000 including copy development, application budget creation (using signed-off source budgets), and sign-offs from project manager and line manager.

• Maintaining a strong momentum of application submissions, aiming to fundraise a year ahead of project delivery where possible.

• Collaborating with Development colleagues to agree stewarding responsibilities, review prospects, report on Trust & Foundation income vs. targets and identify prospects whose giving objectives align with the Philharmonia’s work.

• Working closely with colleagues in the Learning & Engagement, Concerts and Marketing departments to build strong, collaborative working relationships in order to source project information to support the development of funding bids.

• Stewarding

• Ensuring timely report development and submission, to maximise re-application rates.

• Ownership of accurate and comprehensive Trust, Foundation and Statutory accreditation in all collateral and online.

• Proactive and consistent conduit between prospects and the Philharmonia, managing invitations to supported projects and ensuring consistent, warm and professional relationship management.

2 Ensuring efficient administration of Trusts and Foundations fundraising, including:

• Managing all Trusts and Foundations pledges and grants on our CRM Tessitura, and ensuring data capture and processing is in line with GDPR and other privacy laws.

• Population and updating of Trusts and Foundations submissions, stewarding and reporting tracker.

• Accurate records of all correspondence held in SharePoint.

Other tasks include

• Representing the Philharmonia externally when required. 

• Undertaking any other duties reasonably required by the Philharmonia.

Mortlake Community Association is looking for an experienced Interim Director to join a vibrant and inclusive local charity in London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The main purpose of the role is to maintain our growing profile as a community hub and support our range of varied activities. Experience of working with service users and volunteers in a local community setting is essential. The post is offered on a fixed term 9 month contract, starting in May 2026 to align with our Director’s maternity leave.

The Interim Director is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the charity and Mortlake Hall, including staff leadership and supervision, financial management, fundraising, partnership working, building management, and monitoring and evaluation. Our partner, a respected international development organisation, is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to lead the financial management and oversight of a large, multi-country donor-funded project. The postholder will ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial accounting, reporting, and donor compliance, while supporting strong financial management across the wider programme portfolio.

• Proven experience in financial controls, audit preparation, and compliance for multi-grant, multi-country programmes.

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to support delivery of our new programme, Reading Reboot, funded by the Charlotte Aitken Trust, and to support the SLA to grow its reach and impact. Reading Reboot is being developed to address the reading crisis and restore a love of reading for young people in Year 8, in communities facing the greatest disadvantage. This is an opportunity to lead a flagship national programme with the potential to shape future investment in school libraries, in a supportive, mission-driven team culture within a small but influential charity. 

The Reading Reboot programme will establish librarian-led social book clubs in over 100 under-funded secondary school libraries across the UK and reach more than 6,000 young people directly, alongside librarians, senior leaders and wider school communities. Reading Reboot places school librarians at the heart of delivery, combining new book stock, inspiring author engagement, appealing library spaces, and a robust evaluation to evidence impact and inform future national roll-out.   

The Project Manager will lead on development and delivery, working closely with the CEO, a Project Board and external evaluation team to ensure the programme meets its objectives on time, within budget and to a high quality. They will recruit and coordinate schools and librarians, work with partners and funders, and ensure that learning and impact are captured and shared across the sector. Building strong relationships with all stakeholders, the Project Manager will be the main point of contact for the programme and will support the CEO and Project Board with timely updates, papers and participation in meetings. Successful candidates will have extensive and demonstrable experience of project management in schools or youth settings. Experience of training development and delivery will be an advantage.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Regional Manager to join our friendly and collaborative team in the Research Directorate, providing key support in the delivery of the Early Career Researcher Network.

The ECRN Regional Manager will work closely with the Head of ECRN to oversee the day-to-day operations and logistics of the Network. This includes line management of three Regional Coordinators, as well as supporting budget oversight and financial management across all regional activities.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of efficient working systems, policies, and processes, and collaborate with the Head of ECRN to identify and resolve operational challenges as they arise.

A core responsibility of the role is to lead on the delivery and coordination of ECRN activities. This includes line managing three Regional Coordinators; overseeing and supporting regional clusters; processing invoices and monitoring budgets; preparing reports and updates for internal and external audiences; identifying growth opportunities for the Network; liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role, will bring strong project management skills, financial and budget oversight experience, and a background in line management within an office or organisational setting. Working at both a strategic and operational level, you will provide visionary leadership across Age UK Lincolnshire’s commercial portfolio. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this commercially focused role is responsible for generating income and overseeing all income producing services within the charity. You will balance ambition with purpose—ensuring that our charitable aims are upheld and that older people remain at the heart of every service and development.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a central role in shaping, developing and delivering the future of our commercial activities. You will lead the growth of existing services and pioneer new income streams across the region, expanding our reach so that more older people can benefit from high quality support. This position combines strategic innovation with hands on delivery, offering the opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of older people in Lincolnshire.

The post-holder needs to be a confident communicator who is self-driven, proactive and dedicated, with an enthusiastic and positive approach to delivering and developing services for older people. Knowledge and experience in the charity sector and business development is desirable. The post-holder would also ideally have knowledge of the Health and Social Care Sector.

About you  

We’re looking for a dynamic, field‑based Change Coach to play a key role in our frontline improvement programme, partnering with pet hospitals across the West and East Midlands. Your mission will be to ensure that new ways of working are not only delivered, but fully understood, adopted and sustained in everyday practice.

What you’ll be doing

As the vital link between central project teams and hospital colleagues, you will work closely with leaders, vets, nurses and support teams to plan and embed practical changes. You will provide hands‑on support before, during and after go‑live, using real‑time coaching, observation and adoption data to:

• Reinforce new processes, tools and behaviours

• Coach leaders and key influencers to build local capability

• Identify and mitigate risks to long‑term sustainability

• Capture insights and lessons learned to strengthen future rollouts

• Act of as voice for the hospital teams, providing feedback and insights. 

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring proven experience in change delivery, operational coaching or transformation, ideally within multi‑site or frontline environments. You’ll have a strong, practical understanding of change management principles and how to apply them in busy, people‑focused settings.

This role suits someone who is energised by being out in the field, confident travelling regularly across sites and skilled at building trust, influencing others and communicating clearly at all levels.

This is a fixed term contract for 9 months and will be field‑based with regular travel across the West & East Midlands

About the Role

This is critical role within the organisation, supporting essential services for people and communities. It is a senior operational finance role with responsibility for day-to-day financial management, robust controls, accurate reporting and compliance. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager, our Executive Management Team and Operational Managers  providing trusted financial insight that supports informed decision-making and service delivery.

You will also lead and develop our finance team, ensuring purchase ledger and sales ledger activities are accurate, efficient and well controlled.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with a collaborative, people-centred approach.You will have strong technical finance skills and proven experience in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant role. 

You will also have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), or be willing to work towards one
• Strong financial reporting, analysis and control experience
• Experience preparing audit or statutory accounts
• Experience of implementing and embedding new financial systems
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
• The confidence to challenge, escalate risks and maintain high standards of governance

It would be an advantage if you also have

• Experience in health, social care or another regulated environment
• Experience working in the charity or not-for-profit sector
