Established in 1996, Carers Leeds is a charity which provides information, advice and support to unpaid adult and parent carers across our city. This includes our Support Line, carers support groups, one to one support and support in hospitals. Some of our services are universal – open to all carers – and some are targeted at specific groups of carers. Our services are provided to communities throughout Leeds.

This role  

 Operational Managers at Carers Leeds play a crucial role in managing a dedicated team and overseeing key areas of our service delivery. The successful candidate will work with other Operational Managers and the Senior Management Team to ensure that the service we deliver is first class.

The postholder will manage a group of Carers Support Workers who provide support and advice to unpaid carers in Leeds. This includes ensuring the smooth running of the support operations and liaising with external partners. They will work with other operational managers to develop our services and to help coordinate our service delivery process.  

The position requires strong leadership skills, confidence in overseeing several different areas of work and the ability to manage change.

We are seeking an Events Manager to lead UnLtd’s event portfolio while our current Events Manager is on maternity leave. This person will be responsible for leading, coordinating and delivering the event plan in line with the organisational strategy. Reporting to the Fundraising Development Manager, the Legacy Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the long term growth strategy for legacy income at St Giles Hospice.

The post holder will develop and implement a sustainable and scalable legacy programme that increases the number of legacy pledgers, strengthens the future pipeline of legacy gifts and delivers consistent income growth aligned to organisational objectives.

The role will own the legacy value proposition, marketing strategy and support journey from initial engagement through to pledge stewardship. The post holder will champion a culture of legacy giving across the organisation and position leaving a gift in a Will as a meaningful and natural way to support St Giles Hospice.

In partnership with the Fundraising Administration team, the Legacy Manager will ensure legacy gifts are managed professionally and compliantly, with strong forecasting, reporting and internal oversight.

Groundwork South is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Officer (Community Development and Training) to support delivery of our National Lottery-funded Communities Prepared programme in Devon.

Communities Prepared works with volunteers and communities across England to help them build the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. This includes supporting communities to plan for climate-related risks such as flooding, storms, heat waves, and severe weather.

This role will play a key part in delivering the final stages of the Devon Resilience Innovation Project (DRIP), a £7.3 million programme funded through the UK Government’s Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme and administered by the Environment Agency.

Working closely with partners including Devon County Council, you will engage with communities across Devon to increase awareness of flood risk and support them to strengthen their resilience.

About the Project and the Role

The Devon Resilience Innovation Project (DRIP) is testing innovative ways to improve flood resilience in communities across Devon. This role will focus on engaging 28 priority communities to assess uptake of support for community emergency planning and Flood Warden training.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Project Officer, you will:

• Design and deliver a targeted community engagement plan across Devon.
• Raise awareness of local climate and flood risks.
• Support communities to develop emergency and flood plans.
• Help establish and support Flood Action Groups and Flood Wardens.
• Deliver training and workshops both online and in person.
• Work collaboratively with programme partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on community engagement and participation.
• Track and evidence engagement activity and outcomes.
• Contribute to project meetings and programme reporting.
• Share learning with the national Communities Prepared team.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in community engagement or community development.

We are delighted to be hiring a Senior Research and Evaluation Officer to join The Brilliant Club. This pivotal role will support the charity’s research and evaluation consultancy work through Brilliant Consulting. Through our consultancy work, we have partnered with a range of universities and education organisations, such as the Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) and The Sutton Trust. The Senior Research and Evaluation Officer will contribute to improving the evidence base for what works to drive fairer education outcomes and social mobility. They will do this by supporting mission-aligned organisations to conduct robust evaluations of outreach and education programmes.

The Senior Research and Evaluation Officer will join a small consultancy team and will be managed by the charity’s Director of Research and Impact. The team is also supported by several colleagues from across the organisation who work on specific projects based on their areas of expertise. The consultancy team is part of the charity’s wider research and impact team, who collectively have two areas of responsibility: evaluating and reporting the impact of the charity’s programmes and providing research and evaluation consultancy and strategy support to education organisations.

The successful candidate will have strong research skills, including in quantitative research, and will be able to communicate technical information and findings to university access and success practitioners and educators. Process – a development programme for women, non-binary and trans+ music makers. Structured across three strands for different abilities (Create, Define, Release), Process combines workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to build skills, confidence and community for underrepresented producers.

Out The Box (OTB) – hands-on analogue mixing workshops in leading London studios, giving emerging producers practical experience with desks, outboard gear and professional engineers while bridging digital and analogue production techniques.

The Role

 The Felix Project and FareShare have recently merged to form the UK's largest food redistribution charity. Its vision is a UK where good food is never wasted, and nobody goes hungry. 

The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives. 

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK. 

Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.

Purpose of the Job 
The Impact and Evaluation Manager plays a key role in ensuring (FELIX) can robustly measure, evaluate and communicate the social and environmental impact of its work. The role supports an evidence-based culture across the organisation, embedding evaluation and learning into service development and delivery.

Working with colleagues across (FELIX) and its network, you will lead qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation projects, generating insights that inform service improvement, fundraising and public affairs. You will ensure that impact evidence is translated into clear, engaging outputs for internal and external audiences, helping to build compelling narratives about the difference FareShare makes. Ultimately, this work supports FareShare’s mission to deliver more food to charities and community groups across the UK.
 

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Lead the development and ongoing refinement of FareShare’s Theory of Change and Impact & Evaluation frameworks, ensuring they remain relevant and are embedded in impact measurement and evaluation activity

• Design and deliver impact measurement tools and evaluation projects that generate robust evidence on [Felix’s] social and environmental impact, including surveys, research studies and external evaluations.

• Analyse and interpret impact data and research findings, producing clear, accessible reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders, including producing the Annual Impact Report and Internal Stats House.

• Work collaboratively across FareShare teams and with Regional Partners to implement impact measurement approaches, support evidence-informed decision making, and strengthen the organisation’s approach to measuring and communicating impact.

• Manage research activity and partnerships, including coordinating external evaluations, engaging academic partners, supporting evidence for policy and public affairs work, and line managing the Impact and Insights Officer.

As Senior Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of transforming how data and analytics shape our fundraising, marketing and campaigning activity through Public Impact.

Working in an environment of agile, multi-disciplinary teams, you'll be a great collaborator and an experienced analytics professional, adept at building strong relationships and cutting through boundaries, in a fast-moving and dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical excellence with a strong strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex analysis findings into actionable business change. 

In this role, you will: 

• Lead cross-cutting strategic analysis projects across our marketing, fundraising and campaigning squads. 

• Act as a key strategic partner and subject matter expert, turning analysis into actionable recommendations that improve supporter engagement and income generation. 

• Identify and implement innovative, predictive analytics solutions to our biggest business challenges. 

• Lead the use of advanced algorithms and tools to improve efficiency and decision-making across the division. 

• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making through self-service tools, training, and storytelling. 

• Act as product owner for our suite of CRM analytics tools, leading the development roadmap and collaborating with suppliers. 

About you 

To be successful, it is important that you have:  

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders and explain complex concepts to those same stakeholders. 

• Proven experience applying advanced analytical techniques in marketing, including segmentation (e.g. cluster analysis), behaviour prediction (e.g. propensity modelling), churn analysis, A/B testing, and data visualisation. 

• Strong skills in R (R Studio), SQL or Python for statistical analysis in a commercial context. 

• Experience with data analytics tools and platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Salesforce, Microsoft Power BI is advantageous.

• Experience working with large datasets, including extracting and preparing data using SQL and a strong understanding of relational databases. 

• Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) is desirable. 

• Passion for applying data to drive positive social impact.

At the Motability Foundation, we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. 

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that works flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. Our growing portfolio includes flagship projects tackling challenges such as inclusive EV charging infrastructure, complex community transport needs, and large-scale research like the National Centre for Accessible Transport. 

We are now recruiting a Transport Solutions Manager to lead the design and delivery of high-impact work focused primarily on accessibility considerations around emerging Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology, alongside other initiatives related to our Private Transport Theme. This is a pivotal role that combines technical understanding, programme delivery, and stakeholder leadership, and is designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure. 

While your core focus will be on accessibility of emerging Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology, you also may be expected to lead and/or contribute to other transport projects across the transport themes. 

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-led team driving change in the transport system for disabled people, and to work on some of the most complex and impactful projects in the sector. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Lead the Foundation’s work to understand the impact of AVs on transport equity for disabled people, working closely with Programme Directors and partners across government, industry and the charity sector. 

• Scope, commission and manage projects related to AVs – such as pilots, commercial partnerships, research studies or funding opportunities – ensuring alignment to strategic priorities. 

• Bring technical, regulatory, and market understanding of AVs to shape the Foundation’s approach in this space. 

• Manage end-to-end delivery of specific initiatives, including planning, budgeting, due diligence, contracting, risk management, and governance reporting. 

• Use insight, evidence and stakeholder engagement to shape new programmes of work and ensure delivery reflects the needs of disabled people. 

• Work flexibly across our matrix team, contributing to projects or funding rounds outside your own portfolio as needed, and supporting colleagues with specialist input or delivery resource.

• Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders. 

• Collaborate across the Foundation, including with the Insight & Evaluation, Finance and Communications teams, to ensure high-quality delivery, learning and visibility of our work. 

• Bring and apply knowledge in key areas as accessible transport, disability, inclusive innovation, grant making or systems change.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of our delivery models, funding mechanisms and ways of working.
