About the role 

At the Motability Foundation, we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. 

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that can work flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. This includes a growing portfolio of projects tackling key challenges like inclusive EV charging, complex community transport funding opportunities, and large-scale research such as the National Centre for Accessible Transport. 

We are now recruiting four Transport Solutions Managers to help design and deliver high-impact work across this portfolio. These are pivotal roles that combine subject expertise, delivery capability, and leadership and are designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure. 

Some roles will focus more on funding: exploring new funding mechanisms and managing end-to-end development and delivery of funding opportunities and a team of grant managers. Others will focus more on direct delivery: leading projects, partnerships or research commissions. But all Transport Solutions Managers will be encouraged to develop and contribute across both areas. 

We’re looking for people who bring either or both of these skillsets to the role and who are keen to grow their expertise across the range of tools we use. Whether your background is in grant-making, innovation, systems thinking, or programme delivery, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing 

• Lead the design and delivery of impactful projects or funding opportunities, working closely with Programme Directors and colleagues across the Transport Solutions Team. 

• Manage end-to-end delivery of specific initiatives – this could include grants, pilots, commissioned projects, partnerships or other tools – ensuring they are well scoped and aligned to our strategic priorities. 

• Use insight, evidence, and stakeholder engagement to shape the approach to new work, including scoping documents, funding criteria, business cases, and delivery plans. 

• Work flexibly across our matrix team, contributing to projects or funding rounds outside your own portfolio as needed, and supporting colleagues with specialist input or delivery resource. 

• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including charities, researchers, delivery partners and commercial organisations. 

• Manage delivery, budgets, due diligence, risks and outcomes for projects or funding opportunities, ensuring appropriate governance and reporting is in place. 

• Collaborate across teams including Impact & Evaluation, Finance, and Communications to ensure high-quality delivery, learning and visibility of our work. 

• Bring and apply knowledge in key areas such as accessible transport, disability, inclusive innovation, grant-making or systems change. 

• Support the development and continuous improvement of our delivery models, funding mechanisms and ways of working. 

Your experience 

Must haves:  

• Experience managing projects or funding opportunities from inception through to delivery, including planning, delivery, and monitoring, ideally across teams and with external partners or suppliers. 

• Ability to scope and deliver initiatives or funding opportunities using evidence, insight, and engagement with disabled people and other key stakeholders. 

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex workstreams to deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups. 

• Strong data and analysis skills, including the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insight to inform decision-making and strategy. 

• High IT literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). 

• A collaborative and flexible working style, with experience contributing to cross-team initiatives or matrix working. 

Nice to haves: 

• Understanding of disability and transport issues, such as the social model of disability, transport barriers, key legislation etc. 

• Experience delivering or managing grant programmes, innovation pilots, research projects, or cross-sector partnerships. 

• Familiarity with innovation or funding mechanisms such as challenge prizes, agile funding rounds, co-design, systems mapping, or commissioning frameworks. 

• Experience of working in or alongside government, industry, or the not-for-profit sector. 

• Experience supporting or line managing others in a team or project context. 

Senior Global Fundraising Manager

Contract: 12 Month Fixed-term contract, Maternity Cover, (Part-time or full-time, 4-5 days a week)

Location: This role may be based in one of our WaterAid member offices, London, United Kingdom, Stockholm, Sweden, Canada, New York, United States, Melbourne, or New Delhi, India, subject to right to work eligibility in the respective countries.

About the team

The Senior Global Fundraising Manager will report to the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising (Executive Director), currently based in WaterAid UK. They will be an integral member of the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive, made up of senior colleagues from across the WaterAid federation.

The WaterAid Federation consists of the International Secretariat, 7 members - Canada, USA, UK, Sweden, India, Japan and Australia, 3 Regional hubs and 22 country programme offices.

About the role

This role will play a strategic part in driving income growth across the WaterAid federation by proactively collaborating and learning, and seeking opportunities to strengthen our collective action, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Critically they will play a lead role in developing a long-term global income plan, ensuring that we make the best collective decisions for organisational growth and impact, and ensuring that risk is managed globally. The role holder will work closely with the Executive Director who is the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising, in overseeing and driving action through the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive (GCFE) made up of communications and fundraising leaders across the federation; and leading key initiatives identified by this group.

In this role, you will;

• Lead the process for the development of a long-term global income generation plan/strategy which maps WaterAid’s growth trajectory, income stream balance, and required enablers and dependencies.
• Takes a lead role in global fundraising projects which address the enablers and dependencies identified in the plan for multiple markets. This could include identifying new approaches such as emergency fundraising; addressing processes and ways of working holding us back; driving efficiencies through centralised procurement.
• Lead on quarterly global performance monitoring and trend analysis – ensuring and supporting all members to provide a qualitative and quantitative overview which enables us to identify trends, opportunities and threats and act upon them. Reporting key findings to WaterAid International where required
• Monitor risk across the income portfolio and support senior fundraisers in managing and mitigating risk identified.
• Identify and coordinate/lead global income generation activities which require central management – including project management of key programmes of work.
• Ensure global engagement in key initiatives is relevant and easy, with low resource impact, for smaller members and Country Programmes (CPs).
• Support the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising with initiatives which drive global alignment, transparency and effectiveness.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Demonstrable experience in working on global initiatives with globally dispersed teams
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to drive integration and alignment. 
• Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders from across a range of cultures, locations and backgrounds
• Experience of developing complex plans and strategies - monitoring and reporting against them
• Strong knowledge of fundraising practices and experience delivering fundraising campaigns (restricted or unrestricted income generation)
• Ability to analyse fundraising data and create narrative and actions from that to shape continuous improvement

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Knowledge of all fundraising streams – public fundraising, philanthropy and trusts, corporate and institutional
• Knowledge of different fundraising markets.
• Ability to flex working hours to ease time zone challenges

Women in Prison (WIP) supports women affected by the criminal justice system and campaigns to end the harm it causes.

This is a new role which has been created to provide the vision and direction for our programming and systems change work as we embed our 2025-2030 strategy. Our ambition is to offer women in prisons and the community, impactful direct support that is more independent of government demands and funding, and with a new and deeper partnership model.

Our strategy also challenges us to mobilise women, drive women-led influencing and campaigning and co-design programmes with women with experience of the justice system.  We know we must design and deliver programmatic work that incorporates systems change work so that we are not propping up a harmful existing system.  The problem in the criminal justice system is not the women themselves, but the structures and systems that oppress them. Women in Prison is taking bold steps to design and embed new programmes that build evidence that directly challenge those harmful systems.

In this role you will:

AMF profile

Against Malaria Foundation (AMF) was founded in 2004 and is a charity that fights malaria in a highly effective, accountable and transparent way.

We do this by purchasing and distributing multiple millions of long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs) at a time in nationwide universal coverage campaigns. This is the most cost-effective way of preventing malaria. AMF receives donations from the public and in the last financial year received US$147 million and, in our history, now over US$820 million. AMF is particularly data-focused and monitors and reports on net use and drives and supports innovation to improve the effectiveness of malaria programmes.

AMF is the world’s third largest funder of nets.

AMF has been rated a top charity for all of the last 16 years by independent charity evaluators GiveWell, Giving What We Can and The Life You Can Save who focus on impact and cost-effectiveness.

We are a team of 15 highly motivated individuals with different skills and experience. Each person has an important role to play. All team members work remotely with constant communication between them. While the team is small, the impact is big - our net distributions protect millions of people. Our largest programme is in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where we are funding 52 million nets to protect 94 million people for distribution during 2025 to 2027. We have ongoing multi-million net programmes in other countries including Chad, Guinea, Nigeria, South Sudan, Togo, Uganda and Zambia.

Role Description

Our activities and commitments are steadily increasing, and 2026-2029 is expected to be a very busy period of distributions, with over ~70m nets planned for distribution in 2026 alone. In light of this, AMF is recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to join the operations team and play an important role in ensuring the success of the net distributions. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and intellectual skills who is able to work collaboratively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking on significant responsibility by leading on several of AMF’s programmes.

The role will include involvement in all stages of a distribution campaign (pre-agreement, net procurement, post-agreement, during distribution, and post distribution) across two main areas: 

1. Work with National Malaria Control Programmes (NMCPs) and distribution partners

2. Work with AMF’s independent monitoring partners

Further information

The Senior Operations Manager will lead on several of AMF’s programmes. They will work closely with NMCPs and distribution partners, in country partners, AMF independent monitors, cofunding partners, the AMF Operations and Technology teams to ensure the success of AMF distributions. 

More specifically, they will manage the distributions through the following stages

1. Pre agreement

• Establishing the funding gap

• Establishing the net need, malaria burden, insecticide resistance data

• Working with the Ministry of Health to negotiate and put in place an agreement for the programme

2. Net procurement

• Working with AMF’s procurement lead to order nets in time for the distribution

3. Post-agreement

• After signature of the agreement, working with countries and distribution partners to put in place the plans for key elements, in particular

  • Digital data collection

  • 5% verification

  • Net tracking

• Tender for and select an independent partner for distribution monitoring, and work closely with this partner that will be AMF’s eyes and ears in country

4. During the distribution

• Track information coming from all partners

• Analyse with the support of AMF’s analytics team registration and distribution data and take actions if needed

• Account for all AMF nets

5. Post distribution

• Tender for and select an independent partner for post distribution monitoring, and work closely with this partner to carry out surveys at 0, 9, 18 and 27 months post-distribution

• Share results with in-country partners and encourage appropriate actions to be taken

Through these stages, it will be important to maintain strong relationships with the key partners, notably the National Malaria Control Programmes, distribution partners and cofunding partners to ensure that distributions are carried out according to the agreements signed between the Ministry of Health and AMF. 

These relationships will ensure that solutions can be found constructively to issues that arise during implementation of AMF’s programmes.

Aside from the areas above, there will be other work related to AMF Group Operations, dependent on the candidate’s skill set.

Characteristics of the successful candidate

We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and intellectual skills, who works collaboratively in a team and relishes responsibility and the opportunity to learn and develop their abilities. The ideal candidate will be motivated to help improve the lives of those affected by the wider impacts of malaria.

• Strong analytical skills and be able to use Excel confidently

• A self-starter who is highly organised with the ability to work independently and manage working time effectively

• Strong project management skills and comfort handling meetings with senior staff 

• Comfort in dealing with and learning about financial matters, willing to examine budgets in detail 

• At least four years work experience. The skills and potential of the candidate take priority over prior experience and we welcome applications from a range of backgrounds and experiences.

• An interest in driving down malaria rates through procedure changes and the use of technology

Established in 1996, Dialogue School Counselling is a BACP accredited school counselling service covering Sussex and Surrey.

We are recruiting for qualified counsellor or therapist to join our team and deliver our service at Felpham Community College in Felpham, Bognor Regis. You will be working with a range of clients within the Dialogue Thresholds and working to a 6-8 session model. You will be working alongside another experienced Dialogue School Counsellor and working closely with the Student Services Pastoral team at the college.

Key responsibilities

• Run a suitable appointment system flexible to the needs of the school, offering students appropriate assessments and counselling appointments
• Manage the tight time boundaries of the role and the often complex and varied workload
• Liaise with school staff over referrals, waiting lists and appointments
• Carry out initial clinical and risk assessments and establish appropriate referral pathways with other services where appropriate. Continually assess risk throughout each student’s counselling.
• Follow YMCA Dialogue safeguarding procedures; to know who the School’s Designated Safeguarding Officer/s is and how to contact them when a safeguarding concern arises
• Work at all times within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions
•  Maintain individual membership of the BACP and to become a Registered Member (or other professional body such as HCPC)
• You will establish good professional working relationships with key school staff

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

• You will have a Counselling or Psychotherapy qualification, minimum Level four and ideally level six, and two years’ post qualifying experience in individual counselling or therapy with young people. This will include working with risk issues
• You will also have a sound understanding of child protection and vulnerable adult safeguarding issues, policies, and procedures
• You will have proven experience in safeguarding children and young people, responding to, managing, and referring safeguarding issues
• You will have a BACP Membership; BACP Registered or Accredited. Or other professional body e.g. HCPC
• You will have a keen interest in working with children and will be familiar with using creative therapeutic approaches, along with experience of working in a school setting

Finance Manager (Part-Time)

Hours: 16 hours per week (hybrid working, with at least 50% of time in the Guildford office)

Oakleaf Enterprise is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the organisation, working closely with the Chief Executive, Trustees and wider Senior Management Team. You’ll oversee all financial activity, ensure compliance with Charity SORP and relevant regulations, and support the organisation to operate efficiently and responsibly.

About the role

You will lead on all financial reporting, planning and compliance, and ensure financial information is accurate, timely and useful for decision-making. You will also manage one member of staff (Finance Administrator) and work with colleagues across the organisation to support budgeting, forecasting, project costing and grant applications.

Key responsibilities

Board & Leadership

• Advise the CEO and Board on all financial matters, ensuring all legal and financial requirements are met.
• Attend Board and relevant sub-committee meetings.
• Provide financial input for the Strategic Business Plan and other analysis as required.

Reporting

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, restricted/unrestricted funds and balance sheet reporting.
• Lead the year-end process with external accountants, including audit/independent exam planning, reconciliations, site visits and production of Financial Statements.
• Work with the CEO and department leads to prepare the annual budget and provide variance analysis for Board approval.
• Produce a six‑month reforecast.
• Monitor restricted funds and update the Fundraising and Client Services teams.
• Track reserves and ensure adherence to the reserves policy.

Tax

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, ensuring correct application of partial exemption rules.
• Review gift aid and GASDS claims to ensure compliance and maximise income.

Payroll

• Ensure compliance with pensions, NMW and tax regulations.
• Oversee P11Ds and payrolling of benefits (where applicable).
• Support and oversee the Finance Administrator with SAGE payroll and keep up to date with relevant tax/employment law changes.
• Review payroll before submission.

Other responsibilities

• Manage high‑level cashflow and work with the Finance Administrator on daily cash monitoring.
• Line-manage the Finance Administrator.
• Support departments with project budgets, cashflows and grant applications.
• Develop and update financial systems and controls as the organisation evolves.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure cost‑effective purchasing (including IT, utilities and contracts).
• Contribute to the wider SMT.
• Maintain the chart of accounts in SAGE and ensure monthly reconciliations and journals are completed.
• Keep up with CPD requirements.
• Carry out other duties as required.

Essential criteria

• Experience working in a charity, with strong knowledge of Charity SORP (old and new).
• Experience using SAGE 50.
• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA).

About you

The ideal candidate will have a range of cross-channel experience, ideally in the charity sector and in an Individual Giving team, with a particular focus on retention and engagement activity. We are looking for someone with the passion to drive and improve our retention and engagement campaigns, to critically review campaigns and implement improvements, and to put their own stamp on the role.

About the role

The Senior Individual Giving Executive will play a key part in the delivery of the Individual Giving programme, producing sector-leading comms and campaigns to recruit and retain supporters. You will work closely with the rest of the IG team and the Fundraising and Communications Department to deliver high-quality, data-led campaigns across a range of marketing channels. The role will include campaign delivery, budgeting, strategy and planning, managing relationships with key suppliers and driving continuous campaign improvement.

This role will focus predominantly on retention and engagement activity, with a particular focus on mailings, emails and telemarketing, amongst other channels, though there is flexibility for this to change in the future.
