Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity is a small charity with big ambitions. We support brain tumour patients and families across Yorkshire and fund pioneering research in our region.
We're now looking for an exceptional Patient Empowerment Coordinator to lead the delivery of our exciting new Empowering Choices programme, funded by Macmillan Cancer Support.
This innovative project has been designed alongside people affected by brain tumours to ensure nobody faces their diagnosis alone. You'll help people in Yorkshire feel informed, confident and empowered throughout their journey by providing practical support, developing new resources, strengthening partnerships with NHS teams and creating opportunities for people to learn from others with lived experience.

The successful postholder will work collaboratively with the Director of Finance and Operations to meet these objectives, but also will have a central role in identifying opportunities for growth within the HR and Governance function to ensure that good practice, wellbeing and compliance work hand in hand with one another and is embedded within the ethos of the organisation for the benefit of its staff and, ultimately, the communities Orbis supports.

The Part-Time Facilities and Operations Assistant plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of The Thornbury Centre. Working alongside a small team of staff and volunteers, the postholder will help ensure that the Centre remains safe, clean, welcoming for all users, tenants, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
This is a varied and hands-on role, involving assisting the Centre Manager in building operations, room set-up, health and safety checks, basic maintenance tasks, and supporting the delivery of activities and events. As a public-facing member of the team, the successful candidate will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and committed to providing an excellent experience for everyone who uses the Centre.

Our client is a Surrey-based charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse through refuge accommodation, advocacy and specialist support services. They help women and children rebuild their lives and move towards a future free from abuse. They are now looking for an experienced Trusts Fundraising Manager to play a key role in securing the income needed to sustain and grow their impact.
Reporting to the CEO, the Trusts Fundraising Manager will take a lead role in securing income from trusts and foundations fundraising as a central priority. You’ll develop a strong pipeline, build and steward relationships with grant-makers, and produce high-quality bids and reports that clearly evidence outcomes and need. While trusts will be the key focus, the post also has scope to contribute to wider income streams (e.g., corporates, community fundraising, individual giving) and to help shape the overall fundraising direction.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing trust and foundation funding, with the ability to write compelling, tailored applications and communicate impact credibly. The right person will be proactive, organised and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on delivery—able to manage multiple deadlines, build relationships with a range of stakeholders, and work with sensitivity given the organisation’s focus on supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
