The Communications Officer plays a significant role in the support of the delivery of AmplifyChange’s communications strategy. They are key to ensuring that AmplifyChange’s key messages and brand are effectively implemented across all of our communications channels. The Communications Officer will report to and work closely with the Communications Manager and in partnership with other teams to support content development for multiple platforms (AmplifyChange’s main website and AmplifyChange Learn, in particular), social media management, and linking and learning opportunities.
The Communications Officer will have an appetite to creatively profile and showcase the work of AmplifyChange grantee partners and support knowledge sharing opportunities. While AmplifyChange has an established set of communications channels and methodologies to share our work and the work of our grantee partners, fresh ideas and perspectives are welcomed and encouraged. The Communications Officer will be comfortable working independently and taking initiative but there will be support available from the Communications Manager and other teams where required.
AmplifyChange is a bilingual fund, working in English and French. As this role centres on effective communications across our channels to all our grantees in Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions, a professional level of written French and comfort speaking the language is essential.
This role would be well suited to someone interested in pursuing a career in communications, content development and/or social media management, who has a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, and/or international development.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Publications and campaigns
- With the Communications Manager, develop content calendars for the year in line with costed workplan
- Support in the creative development and execution of cause day campaigns – e.g., 16 Days to end Violence against Women, International Youth Day, etc.
- Work closely with the Communications Manager to develop blogs, impact reports and other external materials
- Support the development of Grantee Stories and case studies, working with grantee partners to identify and write stories of change
- Provide editing, drafting, and reviewing support for content in line with AmplifyChange’s tone of voice and language
- Support development of Annual Report and other donor reports, where needed
Digital and social media
- Manage the daily oversight of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, LinkedIn)
- Disseminate news and information about AmplifyChange, such as published reports and upcoming funding rounds, through social media channels and Circle (interactive grantee partner platform)
- Create and execute social media campaigns using tools like Canva, including developing and drafting content
Linking and learning
- Provide logistical support to AmplifyChange’s engagement in external events, both online and physical
- Provide support and creative input into the development of learning materials for AmplifyChange Learn, including written, visual and audio
- Work with grantee partners in the development of content for AmplifyChange Learn
- Support the assessment of learning needs for content development, including through analytics tools where useful
- Support dissemination of content through email management platform (Constant Contact)
- Update website data as needed
Support to other teams
- Work with Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to identify and collect data to support website updates, reporting, and impact report development
- Work with Learning and Events Officer to support identification and development of potential learning materials and resources for AmplifyChange Learn and Circle platform
- Support Grants Management and Pamoja teams to identify stories of change and case studies from the overall AmplifyChange grants portfolio

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
- Strong copy-editing, proofing, verbal and written communications skills in English
- Demonstrable experience working with social media platforms and support tools (such as Canva) and creating content for these platforms
- Demonstrable experience with blogging, writing reports or articles aimed at communicating key messages, and/or storytelling
- Professional-level spoken and written French
- Values consistent with the mission of AmplifyChange, including pro-choice on abortion and pro-LGBTIQ rights
- Ability to work flexibly, prioritise tasks and requests from multiple diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including those based in other countries
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Desirable:
- A degree in communications, marketing, or English
- Demonstrable experience with multimedia development, such as videos or podcasts

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Communications Manager. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. Role Overview
Reporting to the Trusts Manager, the postholder will be responsible for maximizing income from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, building and nurturing elationships and inspiring long-term support and sustainable income in line with the organisational strategy.
About You
This is a great role for someone with previous experience of Trust Fundraising. You’ll have first class communication skills to enable you to quickly build solid, strong relationships both face to face and over the telephone. Excellent writing skills are essential as well as good organisational skills and CRM experience. In these challenging times you’ll need to channel your creative skills to develop exciting stewardship plans.
In this role you will need:
· Previous experience of Trust Fundraising with a strong track record of success and meeting targets

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. There is a requirement for you to attend a minimum of 12 in person days a year, including two Directorate meetings and the charity’s mandatory ‘All Staff Together’ days which take place four times a year at our offices in Hatfield or a location in London. In addition there will be a requirement to attend team and donor meetings in person as required.

About the role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40+ year history. Over the last two years support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP, including individuals, trusts, foundations and corporates. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. With an ambition to be a £50m organisation by 2028, the supporter operations and insights team will play a vital role in enabling over one million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028.
We’re looking for a strategic and people‑focused leader to head up our Supporter Operations and Insights team. A newly expanded team, this senior role will ensure our supporters receive an outstanding experience, while overseeing supporter operations, supplier management, data quality and insights. You’ll work closely with Fundraising and Finance colleagues to ensure income is processed accurately; deliver insights that drive decision‑making; and ensure operations are compliant and effective.
Many of our systems and processes are on a journey to be made fit for purpose, including a new CRM (MS Dynamics) which is currently being implemented with the support of the Digital, Data and Technology team within the Chief Operating Officer’s team.

What is the role about?
This role leads the teams that look after our supporters behind the scenes and on the front line. You’ll make sure every supporter has a positive experience, that donations are handled accurately, and that we use data and insight to continuously improve how we work.
What will you be responsible for?

Summary:
The Supporter Partnerships Officer (SPO) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for new and existing supporters of London City Mission.
Purpose of the job:
As a key member of the Fundraising team, you will be the first point of contact for individuals and organisations who give to the charity; handling enquiries, processing donations given over the telephone, updating supporter records, nurturing long-term relationships and providing insight to other members of the fundraising team.

Your work ensures supporters feel valued, informed, and inspired to continue their journey with us. Conversations around personal faith, Biblical convictions around supporting gospel ministry and requests for prayer often form part of the dialogue between the SPO and supporters.
Key responsibilities:
Supporter care and engagement
- Be the first point of contact for supporters' (existing and new) enquiries by phone, email, letter, website and any other fundraising channels. Ensure they experience an excellent standard of response and experience.
- Be responsible for ensuring donations are thanked promptly and for establishing excellent standards of supporter care.
- You will look for opportunities to send stories and communications that show the Mission’s appreciation including leading on the LCM wide thank you events to Individual Giving supporters.
- Keep thank you letters up to date with new stories to show the impact of their donations.
- Respond to the cancellation of donations thanking the supporter for their gifts and ensure that the cancellation was planned.
Data and insights
- Ensure all supporter information and interactions are captured accurately, up to date and stored in the fundraising CRM in line with GDPR and organisational policies to allow LCM to maximise income. This includes creating new records, assist with managing online donation pages and communicate with supporters on communication preferences and gift aid.
- Run regular reports to track supporter engagement, retention, and income trends.
- Use insights to improve supporter stewardship and fundraising journeys.
Proactive fundraising support
- Identify opportunities to deepen supporter relationships, including upgrading gifts, promoting campaigns, or encouraging long term commitments.
- Support the delivery of fundraising appeals, events, and supporter journeys.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the fundraising team to deliver outstanding supporter experiences.
- Maximise income by ensuring gift aid declarations are correct and up to date giving supporters every opportunity to opt in.
Donation processing and administration
- Accurately set up new direct debits and Gift Aid declarations.
- During staff absence support the recording and reconciliation of donations if necessary.
Fundraising and supporter partnerships team
- Represent LCM at external events and conferences each year where the SPO will be expected to communicate LCM’s vision with a passion for and understanding of the gospel message, as well as share their personal journey of faith in Jesus Christ.
- Provide support and take part in meetings, activities and events in the Fundraising and Supporter Partnerships Team.
- Fully participate in the spiritual life of the Mission including attending the annual week of prayer, the monthly Team Day and daily staff prayers.

About the Role
We are looking to appoint an Operations Officer to help build and scale our social enterprise. You will report to the Head of Operations. Operations Officers are a crucial part of our Services Team. About Greater Change
Founded in 2018 by Alex McCallion and Jonathan Tan, Greater Change is an innovative social enterprise focused on helping people overcome the financial barriers on their pathway out of homelessness using personalised budgets. We partner with charities and support workers who refer people to us who would benefit from our financial support. The personalised budgets (supported cash transfers) we provide are typically for rent deposits, ID documents, training courses etc.
On average, Greater Change spends £1400 per individual and last year 85% of the people we supported sustained their move into stable housing, saving the public purse over £41,000 per person per annum.
Our goal is ultimately to use personalised budgets as a dignified and effective tool to end homelessness.
Main Responsibilities

Manage referrals end to end, including receiving, triaging, and processing cases to ensure timely release of funds to partner organisations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our CRM to track referrals, case progress, and outcomes.

Provide financial case planning support for each referral, using a strengths-based approach to support individuals to move away from homelessness.

This role sits within Race Against Dementia’s small, dynamic Operations team, who oversee the charity’s research programmes and internal processes. The team is responsible for managing Race Against Dementia’s research portfolio – from coordinating funding calls and supporting the selection of the projects we fund, to delivering the training and development programme for our researchers.
Purpose of the role
The Research Officer plays a central role in delivering Race Against Dementia’s research activity, helping to strengthen our research programmes and support the researchers we fund. Duties and Responsibilities
Research administration:
- Manage the administration of all grant calls and related processes.
