Are you passionate about neurodivergent children and young people and their families having the right support, at the earliest point?  We are proud to be developing and delivering the Tameside Neurodiversity Hub and are seeking a skilled and experienced practitioner to be the navigator. This part time opportunity will be over 3 days.

To be successful, you will need to have the following:

• Experience in supporting children with neurodiversity.
• The ability to ensure the 'voice' of the child and family is central, enabling lived experience to create change.
• Excellent team working skills. You will work as part of a service that covers the whole of Greater Manchester.
• The ability to collaborate with and confidently present information to a range of people including the delivery of workshops.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling communication with children, young people, families and professionals.
• Robust safeguarding knowledge and good recording skills.
• A car available for work with business insurance.

This service is dynamic, no two days are the same, we work flexibly to meet the needs of the children and families so whilst there is a Monday to Friday working pattern you will be working some evenings and if required occasional weekends. About the Service

The Enfield SASS team provides advocacy and support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse living in Enfield. An exciting opportunity has arisen in this busy team for an IDVA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for risk and needs assessing and safety planning with survivors of domestic violence. They will hold a caseload of service users identified as requiring crisis intervention, advice, advocacy and onward referral where appropriate. You will contribute to the MARAC process working alongside partner agencies.

About You

We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending gender-based violence. You will have a can-do approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse, and its impact on service users and their children. You will have experience in crisis risk management and safety planning. Experience working within safeguarding procedures is essential as it needs to promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

The ideal Children's Resource Worker will already have some experience in engagement and participation with vulnerable young people who have experienced trauma, care experienced children or have similar experience in child-facing settings. Activities would include completing one-one work with life skills, and developing a trust relationship, and taking to activities. High level of flexibility required to cover weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Occasionally may be required to support with overnight residentials and night support within the foster home. Car driver and owning a car is essential. The Administrator will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the NVN’s operations. Working closely with the General Manager, they will manage day-to-day administration, membership communications, events logistics, and financial record-keeping.

They will help ensure that the NVN remains responsive, organised, and welcoming to its members and everyone.

Key Responsibilities: 

Administration and Coordination

- Support the General Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the NVN’s activities.

- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases (including membership and financial information).

- Track progress on agreed actions and support efficient follow-up.

- Support the General Manager to manage and promote funding applications from the membership, such as the ARCH Levy Fund, bursary applications and the Event Subsidy Fund.

Membership and Communications

- Respond to member and public enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Manage membership renewals and maintain the membership database.

- Create and distribute newsletters.

- Maintain our social media presence and website content.

- Store NVN songbooks and send out when purchased.

- Assist with the organisation and delivery of NVN events, training, and gatherings (online and in person).

- Website management (in liaison with website hosting company).

Finance and Record-Keeping

- Support basic financial administration including invoicing, payments, and expense tracking.

- Maintain up-to-date financial records in coordination with the General Manager and Treasurer.

Your role

The People and Culture Lead will be working closely with the Head of People and Culture to ensure recruitment, onboarding, employee reward, employment relations, learning and development and projects serve the long-term goals of CMS.

You are responsible for delivering professional HR service that supports our operations, vision and strategy. This applies specifically to UK contracted staff (some of whom work overseas) and providing support for volunteers (including CMS Trustees) and consultants.

The People and Culture Lead role (one-year, fixed term contract, three days per week) will have proven HR experience at a business partner or officer level which includes experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and policy (and will ideally hold CIPD Level 5 accreditation).  The successful candidate will have a good understanding of UK employment law and best HR practice.

- Ensure that the fundraising CRM is up-to-date and develop regular reporting mechanisms to inform the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager of outputs and results, and support understanding of local audiences.

- Act as a champion for fundraising compliance across the organisation, ensuring adherence to relevant legislative requirements.

Volunteering

- Work with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Assistant to recruit, induct and train volunteers to support fundraising and other relevant initiatives in the local community.

- Work collaboratively with the wider organisation to recognise and celebrate volunteers that support the charity.

Other duties

- Contribute content for marketing communications including; social media, newsletters, local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with potential supporters.

We are seeking to recruit a Volunteering Adviser to join our team in South West. As a Volunteering Adviser, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, supporting the development of volunteering across the South West region and the wider RNLI.

This will include:

• Implementation of initiatives to improve the volunteer experience.
• Developing sustainable opportunities along with taking a proactive approach to how we support and manage volunteers.
• Providing staff and volunteers with expert advice and guidance in all aspects of volunteering including areas such as recruitment, retention, problem solving and recognition.
• Supporting local implementation of the volunteering strategy.
• Assisting with the development of volunteer management toolkits and support managers in the use of these.
• Delivering volunteer management training workshops to diverse groups of volunteer managers both in person and virtually.
• Being an ambassador for volunteering and ensure it is championed at all levels.
• You will also be required to support a volunteering helpline service for approximately 2 weeks a year (until 8pm weekdays and 10 am – 4pm weekends).

About you

To be our Volunteering Adviser, you will need:

• Extensive volunteer management experience.
• Confidence in delivering face-to-face and virtual workshops.
• The ability to manage a complex workload.
• Experience in handling volunteering problem solving issues is desirable. In this role you will need to be able to work and plan autonomously. You will also need to have a proactive and flexible approach to work along with excellent interpersonal skills.

The Multiple Disadvantage role is aimed at providing specialist support services to women living in refuge with multiple needs, who have experienced domestic or sexual violence, and who have mental illness or use substances problematically. About the Role 

You will work with women living in refuge within 2 London boroughs, to devise a support plan that meets their immediate practical and emotional needs and start the process of recovery, linking women into more specialist support services where required. The Multiple Disadvantage Worker will undertake risk assessments, safety plans and identify support needs of women such as accessing benefits, budgeting, and explore re settlement pathways from the refuge. You will promote social inclusion, encourage independence and development of personal resilience. You will build up support network for women, promoting and enabling engagement with other services. You will work in partnership with the refuge workers to deliver holistic support to the Multiple Disadvantage (MD) service users in each refuge. You will be expected to work with and support 5 service users in each borough.You will also be required to take on additional tasks in the refuge i.e. health and safety checks, reporting repairs, welfare checks etc.

About You 

You're an individual who has previous relevant experience and direct work within specialist support services to women/families with multiple needs. You'll also have case work experience, providing proactive and emotional support to women who have experienced domestic abuse and provide the support to enable them to recover and rebuild their lives.You bring experience of effective multi‑agency working and a proactive approach to building strong, collaborative partnerships, always representing the organisation with professionalism.
