The Senior Finance and Payroll Officer provides day-to-day financial management, reporting and business partnering support across the Royal Court Theatre (English Stage Company Ltd or ESC), a charity with two commercial companies. The role works closely with the Finance Manager, Finance Director and Bar and Kitchen General Manager as well as other departmental managers to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and fit for purpose. 

A key focus will be the Catering Company. You will support robust financial controls, deliver key payroll and banking processes, and help maintain an effective operational link between the Catering subsidiary and charity, enabling informed decision-making and strong financial stewardship. 

Keeping up to date with finance and payroll software advances and integrations, the Senior Finance and Payroll Officer will also review and report on efficiencies and improvements across our finance functions. 

The successful candidate will:

• Strong working knowledge of payroll processes, including pensions, PAYE, NI and statutory compliance.
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to identify and suggest process improvements
• Experience of using accounting systems such as Xero and related finance tools
• Collaborative approach, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams

About the role

The Learning & Development Administrator provides administrative and coordination support across learning, development, and workforce planning activities. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the role ensures statutory and mandatory training compliance is monitored, training programmes are coordinated, and accurate workforce and skills data is maintained.

The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site/hybrid role based at Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield. Insight Gloucestershire are seeking a Relationship Fundraiser.  This is an exciting and varied role incorporating writing funding applications, developing corporate partnerships, organising fundraising events and supporting volunteer fundraisers.

The role is based in Gloucestershire, and you will be travelling around the county to meet supporters and attend fundraising events.  You will need to regularly attend our office in Cheltenham.  There will also be occasional travel to our partner offices in Bristol and Devizes (Wiltshire). 

As Relationship Fundraiser, you will be playing a key role in ensuring the financial success and stability of our charity.  There is a wide salary band depending upon experience.  You might be coming to this role as an established fundraiser, looking to develop your career, or perhaps you have transferable skills having built great relationships in another sector.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Develop and deliver Enable’s learning and development strategy, aligned with organisational priorities and future workforce needs 
• Identify capability gaps across the organisation – and design interventions that build confidence, consistency and compliance 
• Lead on all aspects of internal training, including; Mandatory and compliance-based training; Management Development; Skills Based & Professional Development & Soft Skills and resilience-building workshops. 
• Partner with the Talent Partner to ensure new joiners experience a seamless onboarding journey into Enable’s learning culture 
• Create toolkits, frameworks and learning pathways that are accessible, flexible and inclusive 
• Build a blended learning offer using face-to-face, digital, self-led and social learning approaches 
• Evaluate learning impact using feedback, performance data and insights to inform continuous improvement 
• Support individual development planning, particularly for high-potential staff and those seeking career progression 
• Maintain strong relationships with external learning providers and ensure best value from third-party training options

Skills and Experience:  

• Proven experience designing and delivering impactful learning and development strategies within a multi-site or community-focused organisation. 
• Previous experience working within an HR or People function, with an understanding of core HR processes and how L&D aligns with the wider employee lifecycle. 
• Demonstrated success in developing and running manager capability programmes. 
• Confident facilitator with experience delivering workshops or training to both frontline staff and senior managers. 
• Able to identify learning needs through observation, feedback, data and performance trends. 
• Knowledge of modern learning practices and digital tools/platforms (LMS, e-learning, blended learning etc). 
• A proactive, relationship-focused approach – comfortable working across diverse teams and adapting your style. 
• A continuous improvement mindset – always looking to evolve and strengthen learning impact. 
• Strong organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults during critical moments in their care journey? As a Hospital Care Navigator, you’ll be a vital part of ensuring patients leave the hospital safely and confidently, with the right support in place.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be the single point of contact for adult patients preparing for discharge from the hospital. You’ll work closely with the Adult Social Care team, health professionals, hospital practitioners, and community services to:

• Identify needs and barriers to safe discharge
• Achieve safe and timely patient discharge
• Coordinate outpatient appointments and follow-up services
• Provide clear, compassionate advice and support to patients and their families
• Ensure patients understand their discharge plan every step of the way.

You’ll meet with patients, their families, friends, or carers to assess ongoing needs, ensuring a safe plan is in place for their return home. This could include ensuring that medication is arranged from the hospital pharmacy, someone is at home to greet them, food and heating are available, and the condition of the home is safe to return to. You may be required to liaise with Adult Social Care and other home providers to coordinate home support. You’ll follow up on calls or visits to ensure the patient is managing well at home. By providing the proper support, patients can be discharged sooner, and the risk of readmission is significantly reduced. 

We’re seeking someone who:

• Has experience working with vulnerable adults in a hospital, GP or other healthcare setting
• Communicates with empathy and confidence across different teams at different levels, and with patients
• Is highly organised, with excellent time management skills
• Has awareness and respect for cultural differences
• (Bonus) Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.

The role is based at our Southwark office, and you will be required to travel to hospitals and across the City of London, as well as to Tower Hamlets, Camden, Hackney, and Southwark.
