UEA is advancing its ambitious £100 million Dare to Do Different Campaign, with Prospect Research playing a central role. We are seeking someone who can help drive transformational change.
In this role, you will work closely with our fundraising team to identify, research, and engage high‑quality prospects, helping to build a strong pipeline of major donor opportunities while upholding the highest ethical standards. Your insights will inform strategic fundraising aligned with the University’s key priorities.
The ideal candidate will be educated to at least A level (or equivalent qualification) or equivalent experience and have a good understanding of fundraising, along with strong research, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

About the role
As Housing Rights Worker, you will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community projects and strategy. You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation, networking and engaging with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of housing rights.
You will also work within local community settings and alongside community groups, delivering advice and rights awareness through outreach and workshops. You will ensure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their views and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. If needed, you will support our volunteers, provide learning, shadowing and mentoring and be a consistent role model for Shelter’s values.
About you
You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and with all stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. You have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy, with the ability to progress to specialist level knowledge. Essential to the role will be good time management, carrying out casework related interviews, maintaining detailed case records and offering advice and support to clients to inform their decisions. A proven record of delivering group workshops and presentations is essential, as is a collaborative, flexible and professional approach to your work.

As an Outreach Worker in Complex Needs, you will be responsible for a caseload of clients who are residing in the Emergency Bed Spaces in London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) along with clients in TA and some who may be rough sleeping. Ensuring delivery of a high-quality service to individuals experiencing rough sleeping. We work in a compassionate and trauma informed way, ensuring we are promoting client independence and in a client-led manner. Your skills will be vital in supporting operational effectiveness and the team to engage with people who need help most.
You will work closely with the hostel services, local authority partners, statutory and voluntary services, and key stakeholders to ensure an integrated, person-centred approach to tackling rough sleeping. Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Caseload: Caseload of clients who are allocated daily. Providing a person-centred approach to working with clients through: Support needs assessments, Risk assessments, referrals to services, and updating relevant parties on progress of client cases
- Shifts: Planning and conducting outreach shifts on early/mid/late basis on the streets of LBTH to identify and support clients who are rough sleeping. - Partnership working: Collaborate with local authority teams, hostels, external agencies, and community partners to provide coordinated, high-quality support to rough sleepers. Attending, organising and chairing Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Meetings, external partner shifts
- Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure a holistic and inclusive response to homelessness in the borough.
- Service development: Work closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure that KPI targets and service standards are me and positive outcomes for people experiencing rough sleeping.

Role Purpose
Oversee a blended model of in-house direct labour teams and external supply chain partners, lead and empower your teams to successfully deliver effective building, mechanical, electrical and regulated compliance related works and services across the organisation's property portfolio to ensure our homes are safe and well maintained. Key Accountabilities

About the role
The Side-by-Side project supports children in care and care leavers to have the same opportunities as those who have not experienced care.
For many young people, navigating the care system and especially the transition to leaving care can be complex, isolating, and overwhelming. Too often, care-experienced young people are expected to face adulthood before they are ready, without the safety nets of family, friends, and community networks that many of us take for granted.
The project provides a mentoring and befriending service, offering consistent, trusted relationships that help young people feel less alone, build confidence and life skills, and navigate key life changes as they move towards independence.
Side-by-Side supports young people with a range of needs, including those who may be at risk of exploitation, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, and young people living with identified mental health challenges. The project is guided by strong safeguarding practice, built on trust, and delivered through trauma-informed, person-centred approaches.
As a Community Engagement Worker, you will work directly with young people through engagement sessions, group activities and co-designed initiatives. You will also work alongside volunteers, supporting them to safely and effectively engage with young people. This role does not involve acting as a young person’s key worker or holding a caseload. Role Description
This position plays a pivotal part in GovAI's future success — if staff are distracted by bureaucracy or have a poor experience with our internal processes, our impact as an organization suffers. Your role is to help ensure that people operations runs smoothly and efficiently.
You'll execute people operations processes from onboarding through ongoing employee support, making sure that staff have an excellent experience and that all compliance requirements are met. You'll report to the People Ops Manager, and work closely with other members on the team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Executing onboarding and offboarding processes:
- You'll directly manage onboarding for new staff, visiting researchers, and contractors, ensuring they have everything they need and know how to navigate GovAI effectively.
- You'll handle offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions when staff depart.
- Managing ongoing people operations workflows:
- You'll handle benefits administration, reimbursements, and other routine people ops tasks efficiently.
- You'll track and ensure compliance with US and UK employment law requirements, including training requirements, policy updates, and statutory obligations.

Salary and Location

As such, the salary for this role will depend on the successful applicant's experience, but we expect the range to be between £66,000 (~$88,000) and £80,000 (~$108,000) if based in London.
