Knights Youth Centre (KYC) was established in 1936 as an independent Christian Charity. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Youth and Community Leader to manage and develop the work at Oasis Knights. This is an opportunity to lead a team committed to making a tangible difference in the lives young people, their families and the broader community. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership and operational management, which includes overseeing a range of youth and community activities. A critical aspect of this role involves fundraising, business development, and monitoring the impact of all initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
· Overseeing youth provision, including mentoring, youth clubs and targeted interventions.
· Ensuring effective financial management and income generation to sustain and expand services.
· Managing and growing a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment with Oasis’ ethos and values.
· Building strong partnerships with local stakeholders to support the delivery of impactful youth projects.
· Developing and maintaining monitoring and evaluation frameworks to demonstrate the impact of activities.
· Working with the building narrative to ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and other statutory requirements.
The successful post holder must have:
· A degree-level qualification or equivalent in youth work, community development or a related field.
· Proven experience in leading youth projects and managing diverse teams.
· Strong fundraising and income generation skills, with the ability to create and implement successful strategies.
· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with young people in challenging environments.
· A track record of developing and implementing strategic plans in partnership with stakeholders.

This role follows a 37 hours, over a 7 day working pattern. This is a site-based role at Anderton Boat Lift, CW9 6FW.
Working across our visitor attraction, the Duty Manager will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation at Anderton Boat Lift, alongside leading and motivating a team to deliver outstanding customer service. The team will support this through engaging activity participation, the sale of goods and services, and the upkeep of a high‑quality environment for all visitors.
The Duty Manager will champion the Trust’s values, both personally and through your team, helping to create an exceptional visitor experience. In this role, you will actively contribute to increasing revenue, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring our sites remain welcoming and enjoyable places to visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team or teams of staff/ volunteers delivering a safe environment and excellent customer service; for example in maintenance, retail, catering or operation of trip boats/ other.
- Adoption of required emergency, safety, operational, financial, other processes appropriate to tasks. Plan and implement safe working procedures - creation of risk assessments and method statements, in line with the Trust’s Health and Safety Policy and standards.
- Customers dealt with to expected standards of courtesy and care; resolve concerns/ complaints.
- Deliver targeted business plan objectives for services, projects, events, maintenance to planned expenditure budgets, regularly reporting on the same. Assist with identifying future priorities/ business planning and budgetary planning.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety at the site. Identify maintenance requirements and prioritisation. Instigate local maintenance tasks where required; liaise with other operational teams, contractors the Trust management structures as necessary for the execution of works
- Coach, develop and support the team performance for required measures, including customer satisfaction and other service standards. Report on the same.
- Plan and lead volunteers undertaking tasks ensuring the application of Trust procedures and the provision of a safe working environment for volunteers, and a satisfying volunteer experience.
- Recruitment and retention of staff and volunteers to assist with the running of the attractions, ensuring staff and volunteer satisfaction is high and their duties are rewarding.
About you
You’re an experienced and confident team leader who can motivate staff and volunteers to deliver a safe, welcoming and high‑quality visitor experience. You understand operational and safety procedures and can produce risk assessments and method statements when needed.
You handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, and you’re comfortable delivering services and projects to agreed targets and budgets. You maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, identifying and coordinating maintenance needs promptly.
You support, coach and develop your team, using performance measures and customer feedback to drive improvement. You also enjoy working with volunteers, ensuring they feel valued, supported and engaged.
Skills & Qualifications
- HND or Degree in relevant discipline or proven experience in a similar role
- Relevant occupational qualifications in disciplines for bespoke tasks, for example food hygiene.
- Customer service training qualification – Welcome Host or equivalent
- Valid driving licence appropriate to vehicle for specific roles
- Trust minimum safety learning standards

Role Overview
The purpose of the post is to manage and lead the day-to-day operations, business development and visitor experience at our Canal Museum Stoke Bruerne. The Visitor Services Manager (VSM) will lead the site team at Stoke Bruerne (colleagues and volunteers) on a day to day basis to focus on the visitor offer, striving for excellence in experience, achieving financial sustainability around income generation and charitable giving and delivering a consistently high-class visitor welcome across the board. This includes managing a range of front of house functions including food and beverage, retail, events and commercial boat trips. The Visitor Services Manager plays a central role in overseeing, coordinating and championing the experience of every visitor from site presentation, to large/small scale events and programming, making the site a must-see attraction, acclaimed internationally, nationally and loved locally.
As a key member of the Destinations and Attractions Management Team the VSM will work strategically with colleagues in other attractions and with other teams within the Trust such as, Operations, Fundraising, Collections, Marketing and Volunteering teams amongst others to promote, drive and deliver excellence in customer service and a visitor centred approach. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to create safe working environments and understand the importance of compliance in day to day operations. Are you an experienced and knowledgeable programme manager with a passion for supporting charities and under-represented communities to advocate for change?
Media Trust is looking for an experienced programme manager to lead on the delivery of two new communications capacity-building programmes - one focusing on charities tackling health inequalities and another focusing on people affected by the No Recourse to Public Fund (NRPF) immigration rule. Both programmes are aimed at enabling participants to safely and effectively engage with the media and advocate for change. You will be working directly with charities, communities and individual participants on both these programmes. You will also work with external trainers and media industry volunteers to deliver the training and related support.
Each programme will involve recruiting a cohort of storytellers, working with a series of external trainers to deliver workshops around understanding and engaging with the media and facilitating peer support workshops. You may also be required to lead small roundtables or convene meetings with sector partners as required.
Media Trust will be partnering with charities working on health inequalities and supporting migrants to deliver this work, including recruiting storytellers from across our networks and partner organisations as programme participants.
You will be responsible for designing and agreeing the delivery calendar with our funders and other key partners.You will also manage the recruitment for, and delivery of, these programmes. The outline training content has already been agreed - this role will involve working with trainers to ensure content is relevant to the needs of the cohorts and the objectives of each programme. You will also design and facilitate a series of monthly peer support sessions to support participants’ learning on the programmes. You will also manage impact evaluation for the programmes including designing and collecting responses to pre- and post-programme surveys from participants and sharing insights and learning from the programmes to help Media Trust design new work in these areas.

The role
Construction Youth Trust is in a strong financial position with an excellent Fundraising & Partnership team, supported by well-established systems. We already have a strong pipeline in place to meet our fundraising targets (£2M - £2.5M p.a.) This is an opportunity for a Senior Fundraising Leader with the skills and experience to consolidate and build on this success. Role Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Private Partnerships and Philanthropy Team (PPH) to develop new opportunities with trusts and foundations in line with UK for UNHCR’s fundraising strategy. This will include supporting and leading initiatives to approach potential supporters.

The Children and Families team will support 45 young people and their families a year as part of our Greenwich Gangs team. Gang involvement increases the risk of violence and victimisation to the young person, their friends and their family, therefore, it is essential when supporting young people to exit gangs we adopt a ‘whole family’ approach.
About this key role
As a Children & Families Caseworker, you will be tasked with providing both face-to-face and virtual/remote 1:1 case work to children, young people and their Families who are at risk of; involved in or on the periphery of gangs and serious youth violence.
You will use your cultural competency and lived experience to engage young people involved in serious youth violence and exploitation. You will be one of 4 practitioners for this geographical area, providing a holistic approach to supporting young people and families in the community. Contributing towards the overarching aim of reducing harm, risk and exclusions (where relevant), you will work closely with social workers, youth offending agencies and schools/PRU’s, developing a relationship based on trust, which prioritises safeguarding.
You will play a central role in deterring young people from offending and safeguarding families who may be at risk. You will work with them for a set period, aiming to reduce key risk factors and behaviors. We will be relying on you to maintain the high standards of the service, ensuring the successful delivery of the outcomes, and compiling reports and recording data where necessary.
