• Create high-quality, engaging and accessible content across multiple formats, including video, social media, email, web and other campaign assets, ensuring alignment to NCT’s brand, tone of voice and messaging.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Communications and Fundraising & Strategic Partnerships to ensure content supports the objectives of integrated campaigns.
• Managing own workload effectively within the Content Studio, balancing deadlines and planned vs reactive activity.

Community Outreach Worker – Physical Health

About the Service

The Community Outreach Worker plays a vital role in delivering the Physical Health Checks programme for individuals with severe mental illness (SMI). This position focuses on engaging hard-to-reach individuals, facilitating health checks in healthcare settings, community settings, and supporting follow-up care to enhance physical health outcomes. The post holder will collaborate with health professionals and stakeholders to reduce health inequalities and promote recovery

About the Role

The role ensures that individuals with severe mental illness receive timely and effective physical health checks, overcoming barriers to engagement and supporting continuity of care. The post holder will provide proactive outreach to improve health outcomes, promote engagement with primary care and support individuals to access and sustain appropriate health and community-based support.

The post holder will manage their workload independently, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure high standards of service delivery. They will also contribute to monitoring and reporting to support the success and sustainability of the Physical Health Checks programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Physical Health Checks programme
• Target and engage individuals on GP mental health registers who are difficult to reach
• Deliver physical health checks in healthcare and community settings, supported accommodation, day centres, and through home visits
• Follow up on health check results and liaise with GPs and social prescribers for onward referrals
• Support clients to access follow-up appointments and ongoing physical health treatment
• Provide one-to-one support tailored to individual needs (in person, via telephone, or email)
• Signpost and assist access to relevant health and wellbeing services
• Facilitate effective liaison between families and professionals, including GPs
• Hold a caseload of clients with SMI, delivering support through home visits and community-based interventions
• Monitor and review the safety and wellbeing of clients on a regular basis
• Maintain accurate documentation including participant notes and data required for monitoring and reporting
• Actively promote the service through GP practice meetings, events, and outreach activities
• Build and maintain effective relationships with health care professionals and community partners to support referrals
• Collect feedback from participants to improve service quality
• Encourage and support clients to access volunteering opportunities that build skills, confidence, and community connection
• Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients

About SARSAS

SARSAS exists to relieve the trauma and distress, and help rebuild the lives, of survivors who live in Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES, who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.

SARSAS also campaigns and raises awareness about rape and sexual violence to change the narrative about sexual violence and enable survivor’s voices to be heard. Partnership work with a range of agencies locally and nationally is a priority to enable social change.

SARSAS works to feminist principles: this underpins both what our service is and how it is run. Our work is guided by a trauma-informed approach which understands how traumatic experiences can impact on survivors and keeps an awareness of the effects of trauma at the forefront of our approach to support.

About Depaul UK

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. Appalled by the scenes playing out across the capital, a group of people came together to tackle the challenge head on. Led by Cardinal Basil Hume and Mark McGreevy OBE, in 1989 Depaul UK was born.

What began as a single housing project in North London soon expanded across London, Greater Manchester and the North East of England. Today, Depaul UK provides accommodation, prevention and support services to thousands of marginalised young people across the UK each year.

Job Purpose:

The post’s primary focus is to provide specialist education advice primarily by telephone and email, to parent carers with disabled children in the UK. The post holder will be working on the Contact national helpline service. Service hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm.

Main Duties:

To respond professionally and with empathy to incoming calls, emails, web form and social media enquiries on SEND and related education issues.

To deal effectively with enquiries by offering specialist education advice, information and relevant signposting.

To provide, information and signposting on the wider concerns of families with disabled children including health and social care.

 General duties

As members of the Community Directorate we aim to reach out to and support people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers. We enable the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to be heard to improve services, inform our priorities and improve decision making locally.

Through community development we work in close collaboration with our Parkinson’s communities to bring change on the issues that matter most to people affected by Parkinson’s - whether directly or with their friends, family and carers.

• Provide first point of contact for new people affected by Parkinson’s wanting to engage with our community facing work in Hull and East Riding

• Organise online and in-person, internal and external meetings and events, including booking venues and refreshments, assisting with the production of materials, fulfilling mailings and taking bookings for our community development work across Hull and East Riding

• Support the development of new activities with our community in Hull and East Riding, by establishing contact with other organisations and individuals in the area

• Promote and market activities in local areas to ensure our community are aware of all the offers available to support them

• Engage directly and attend meetings of groups, branches, cafes, physical activity programmes in Hull and East Riding to ensure they are delivered effectively and we meet the needs of those people delivering and attending them

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate when required at all levels internally and externally

The Marketing Officer/Senior Marketing Officer (Retention) at CBM UK is an important role in making our life-changing work possible. Advertised at Officer or Senior Officer level (subject to experience), the role delivers direct and digital fundraising appeals to existing individual supporters, high value donors, and churches to drive donations and grow awareness, through creative and impactful fundraising communications.

Key responsibilities:

The position holder is responsible for developing fundraising campaigns for individual supporter audiences; supporting the development of the annual public fundraising plan; building supporter journeys and testing new channels and messages.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and across the Fundraising & Communications team, the Marketing Officer/Senior Marketing Officer (Retention) is responsible for planning and delivering a significant marketing programme, carrying out fundraising campaigns to existing supporters across multiple channels, including direct mail, email, and telephone.

Cultivation appeals (60%)

a. Deliver regular and inspiring off-line direct marketing campaigns to existing supporters on time and within budget. The role holder will plan, co-ordinate and prepare fundraising appeals. This involves creating briefs, working alongside freelance copywriters and designers, and managing print and fulfilment suppliers.

1. Lead on the delivery of online appeals and updates, including the planning and coordination of mass supporter emails.
2. Optimise the performance (traffic and income) of website fundraising pages, including appeal landing pages and donation platforms. Ensuring pages on the CBM website are engaging to existing and new audiences and utilising Search Engine Optimisation tools.
3. Lead on the planning and implementation of feeding back to existing supporters on our work as part of their donor journey, through leading on CBM UK’s supporter newsletters, e-news and prayer diaries.
4. Prepare internal marketing materials for CBM UK colleagues and provide briefings for supporter facing teams ahead of each campaign.
5. Develop excellent working relationships with existing and new agencies and suppliers, including marketing agencies, writers, designers, print suppliers and mailing houses. Source new agencies and suppliers as appropriate.

High donor fundraising (20%)

1. Lead on CBM’s high donor fundraising programme, through planning and managing regular communications and fundraising asks to this segment of supporters, working towards achieving annual income growth targets.
2. Work alongside the Supporter Relations team to develop and carry out a donor journey for high donors, including personalised communications through phone, email and post.

New product testing (10%)
