The Head of Clinical Governance will lead and enhance the organisation’s commitment to delivering high-quality, safe care for children. This role is pivotal in overseeing clinical governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing clinical risks, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Governance

• Develop and maintain an effective clinical governance framework that supports safe and high-quality care.
• Facilitate regular clinical governance meetings to discuss performance, incidents, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that clinical pathways and practices are aligned with best practice guidelines and evidence-based standards.

Patient Safety

• Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety across all services, promoting a culture of transparency and reporting.

Clinical Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and manage clinical risks within the organisation, ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
• Conduct regular reviews of incident reports and risk assessments to inform organisational learning and development.
• Oversee the management of serious incidents, ensuring thorough investigations and appropriate follow-up actions are completed.

Quality Improvement

• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.
• Lead quality impact assessments for new initiatives or changes in practice, evaluating potential risks and benefits and manage the organisational governance in relation to these.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines, including CQC regulations and national safety frameworks.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory changes and ensure organisational policies and practices reflect these updates.
• Coordinate and draft the annual organisation quality account.

Clinical Audit

• Design and implement a comprehensive clinical audit program that evaluates the quality of care and compliance with clinical standards.
• Analyse audit findings to identify trends and areas for improvement, facilitating the development of action plans.

Incident Management

• Oversee the incident management process, ensuring that incidents are reported, investigated, and learned from effectively.
• Develop strategies to communicate learning from incidents across the organisation to promote a culture of safety.

Professional Standards

• Promote adherence to professional standards and best practices among clinical staff, ensuring high levels of accountability and professionalism.
• Monitor compliance with organisational policies and procedures, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Policies and Procedures

• Develop, review, and update clinical policies and procedures to ensure they align with current best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all staff are trained and knowledgeable about relevant policies and procedures.

Medical Records

Ensure that medical records are maintained accurately and confidentially, supporting patient safety and care continuity.

Medicines Management

• Line manage the lead pharmacist and wider pharmacy team
• Oversee medicines management processes, ensuring compliance with best practices and safe medication administration.

Complaints and Patient Experience

• Manage the complaints process, ensuring that concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately, and lessons learned are disseminated.
• Work to enhance patient experience through feedback mechanisms, ensuring that patient voices are heard and acted upon.

General

• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
• Act as a critical member of the Nursing and Care senior leadership team.

Benefits advice to people with asbestos diseases, and organise the day-to-day running of the charity, GMAVSG. Manage two workers, cover phone helpline on a rota, maintain databases and case files, liaise with a panel of solicitors, organise and assist in two support groups, and participate in campaigns on asbestos issues at work and in the environment and on benefits and compensation.  You will deliver benefits advice mainly through home visits in Greater Manchester and some of the neighbouring areas of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Lancashire. Full driving licence and access to a car are essential.  GMAVSG is a registered charity, established by the Greater Manchester Hazards Centre (GMHC) in 1994. You will be doing GMAVSG work but employed by GMHC. Recent experience of welfare rights / benefits advice is essential, as are good ICT and administration skills.  Management experience (particularly in the charity sector) would be beneficial, but is not essential. Main Purpose Of Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, supporting two vital services run in partnership with Homeless Oxfordshire and Connection Support. The role covers both our Step Down provision—designed for individuals discharged from hospital under the Discharge to Assess model—and our service at Mawle Court, which provides temporary accommodation and support for people with complex needs, including those preparing for more independent living or in need of emergency provision. Working as part of a small, dynamic, and enthusiastic team, you will be responsible for delivering a safe and supportive environment across both services. You will lead on the case management of clients with complex needs, working collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and implement holistic, individualised support and move-on plans. Main Areas Of Responsibility:

• To proactively and dynamically assess, monitor, manage and respond to risk for individuals and in the service.

• To assess risk and suitability of referrals to the service and book new clients in.

• Ensure the effective delivery of high-quality care, support and housing management according to Homeless Oxfordshire policies and procedures.

• To work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the creation and delivery of holistic wrap around support and risk management plans for clients with complex needs as well as to ensure clients have access to appropriate healthcare as needed.

• To work with other agencies to provide client centred support & risk management plans for clients with complex needs to identify work towards a suitable move on option within 6 weeks.

• To work alongside the Client Engagement Co-Ordinator to ensure clients have access to opportunities to be empowered, build their confidence and develop independent living skills; to facilitate groups and activities as part of this.

• To make and maintain Housing Benefit claims.

• Ensure that IT systems are updated as required clear, concise and up to date record keeping is maintained and ensure information is shared with the team and external agencies as required.

• To represent Homeless Oxfordshire at interagency meetings, as required.

• Manage challenging situations and report any safeguarding concerns without delay in line with procedures and to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

1.To assist the Support Service Manager in managing the delivery of specialist, trauma-informed support to adults and children living in refuge, recognising the impact of domestic or sexual abuse, harm or violence, and responding with empathy, respect, and consistency.
2.Contribute to a refuge environment that is compassionate, equitable, and grounded in integrity -where every individual feels safe, heard, and supported.
3.Manage Safeguarding across the service, complying with internal and external policy and legislation, authorise adult and child referrals maintaining a trauma-informed, non-judgemental stance that prioritises dignity and safety
4.Provide line management to Team Leaders and Support Workers in line with Cyfannol’s policies and values, leading recruitment, induction, supervision, training, and development in an inclusive and engaging way.

We are looking for an experienced parks, heritage or cultural attraction professional to provide project management expertise on the prioritisation, planning, development, and delivery of a range of capital projects as part of the regeneration of Crystal Palace Park.

Job Summary for Evaluation and Evidence Specialist

This role forms a key part of a new Strategy & Insight Team at Bowel Cancer UK, which seeks to build core capabilities to enable us to be as effective as we can be for people affected by bowel cancer. The Evaluation and Evidence Specialist will be an internal leader driving a step-change in the way we understand and articulate our impact, as well as how we use evidence in our work. You will be responsible for delivering evaluations of high-priority activities, as well as supporting other teams to evaluate the impact of their area. You will drive a cultural shift in evidence-based decision making where the charity begins to move from reacting to evidence to proactively generating its own evidence. You will ensure that insight, evidence and impact are delivered in a useful way to colleagues to support planning, decisions, income generation and communications.

Main responsibilities

• Lead a step-change in the way Bowel Cancer UK approaches evaluation, impact, and evidence.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for Bowel Cancer UK’s high-priority programmes and projects, ensuring that they can demonstrate the impact of our work.
• Develop, maintain and renew a set of compelling impact statements that support Bowel Cancer UK’s brand and meets the needs of other teams in engaging their key audiences.
• Establish a programme of routine evaluation for key ongoing activities across the charity, which can demonstrate effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
• Proactively provide analysis of internal and external evidence sources to deliver meaningful insight for the organisation.
• Support teams to identify the evidence they require, including checking to ensure evidence is used consistently and robustly.
• Develop our capability in how evidence is presented to different audiences, including through data visualisation.
• Develop and maintain a central repository for evaluation and key evidence for the organisation to use.
• Identify gaps in evaluation and evidence and develop plans for how these can be addressed.
• Provide training and development opportunities to colleagues to upskill on the best approaches to evaluation and evidence.

Main purpose of the role

The Human Resources Manager provides effective HR support to all employees at L'Arche Ipswich, in line with L’Arche’s identity, mission and values.

The HR Manager will:

• Lead, facilitate and organise recruitment in the community together with the Registered Manager and the Community Leader;
• Actively seek opportunities to link up and maintain good relationships with organisations such as other recruitment and voluntary agencies, career offices, churches and communities, educational establishments with a particular emphasis on promotion among young people;
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, in line with employment law, regulatory requirements, and L'Arche policies;
• Support leaders with employee relations casework;
• Submit accurate payroll data;

Key essential criteria

• Understanding and identification with the aims, mission and values of L'Arche;
• Experience of working in HR, especially employee relations casework;
• Experience of the full employee life cycle including recruitment, training, performance management;
• Experience of a similar role with lead responsibility for employment matters;
• CIPD level 5 (Associate) or equivalent;
• Highly developed IT skills including familiarity with using HR databases;

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Individual Giving Officer (including Digital) to help grow and develop our Individual Giving and Legacy income streams.

You will plan, deliver and evaluate inspiring fundraising activity, build long‑term relationships with supporters, and provide excellent donor stewardship. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how supporters engage with — and feel connected to — the Orpheus Centre.

 Key responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver engaging individual giving digitalappeals across multiple channels
• Develop and manage regular giving and donor stewardship journeys to increase loyalty and lifetime value
• Lead on all aspects of legacy fundraising, including promoting gifts in wills and administering legacy cases
• Build strong relationships with supporters, case studies and internal stakeholders
• Develop and nurture a mid‑value donor programme, working closely with senior fundraising colleagues
• Create new and innovative channels of giving, including In Memory and Celebration Giving
• Manage individual giving and legacy budgets and track performance

About you 

You will be an organised and confident fundraiser with a passion for building relationships and telling compelling stories.

You will have:

• At least 3 years’ experience delivering fundraising or supporter‑focused projects
• Experience of using databases/CRMs and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• An understanding of fundraising regulations, including Gift Aid and GDPR 

Desirable:

• Experience in individual giving and/or legacy fundraising
• Experience using Salesforce
• Experience of digital or direct marketing, copywriting or donor communications

We’re seeking an experienced Events Fundraising Officer to work on delivering our UK wide portfolio of challenge events. You’ll be passionate about working in events fundraising and enjoy being part of a busy team. This role sits in the Events team within the Public Fundraising department, generating over £1 million of income. The Events Fundraising Officer will play a key part in our exciting plans to grow this area of fundraising.

Project management

· Support the Senior Events Fundraising Officer in managing, delivering, and evaluating a range of fundraising events covering running, cycling and UK challenge events

· Manage events in the portfolio for example Great North Run, Ultra Challenge Series treks

· Regularly report on agreed KPIs

· Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure fundraising events are effectively promoted

· Develop and maintain excellent relationships across the organisation to ensure projects are executed effectively, on time and to budget

· To prepare and present event evaluation reports

Supporter care and stewardship

· Write and develop effective stewardship journeys, using engaging copy to ensure income targets are hit, average gifts are increased, and supporter conversion and retention rates are improved
