Our Service
Employment is a key part of mental health recovery. Our employment services are delivered in line with the IPS model, supporting people with mental health challenges to retain paid employment in line with their aspirations. IPS is delivered in close partnership with NHS mental health services, employers, commissioners and the wider system.
Due to receiving new funding we are excited to expand our WorkPlace Leeds service to develop our existing support in the community.
The Role
To provide an evidence-based IPS employment support service, delivered in a trauma‑informed, person‑centred and inclusive way, in line with Leeds Mind values and IPS fidelity standards.
You will be required to manage a caseload of clients who have experienced mental health difficulties and who are either unemployed or seeking to return to current employment following long term absence. You will be expected to deliver the IPS approach (according to the key principles of IPS). You will work with all relevant stakeholders, including employers, to support the client to gain and retain paid employment.

Essential Skills and Experience:
· Experience of working directly with individuals who face complex barriers, using a person‑centred, strengths‑based and non‑judgemental approach.
· Able to manage a varied caseload, support people to find, return to or stay in work, and work towards agreed outcomes in a performance‑focused environment.
· Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with clients, employers and partner professionals, and communicate clearly, empathetically and professionally.

This is a great opportunity to support local communities, working with Adult Carers and Young Adult Carers and helping them to make informed choices, build confidence, sustain their independence, and access support that meets their individual needs. You will carry out assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need, working together to co-produce support plans. This will involve meeting Carers in community settings and conducting home visits. The team also facilities coffee mornings and activities offering Carers opportunities for peer support and to take a break from caring.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

The Counsellor will join Womankind’s staff team based in central Bristol, providing time limited relationally based counselling using psychodynamic/integrative approaches to women with mental health needs, with a particular focus on young women aged 16–18 affected by domestic abuse and/or sexual violence. This is a hands‑on, relationship‑led role at the heart of Trekstock’s fundraising, with real responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership within a growing team.
You’ll take ownership of key income streams including challenge events, corporate partnerships and supporter care, helping us grow income while delivering a brilliant experience for everyone who supports Trekstock.
You’ll work closely with existing partners such as Fujifilm UK and The National Lottery, while also contributing to the development of future partnerships. This is a role for a confident starter‑finisher who enjoys taking ideas from concept through to delivery and seeing work through with care and impact.
From managing our iconic Trek This City event to building long‑term partnerships with corporate supporters, you’ll play a key role in bringing new people into our community and keeping them connected to our mission. You’ll be trusted to take ownership, build strong relationships, and make things happen in a small but mighty team.
This role is ideal for someone with fundraising experience who’s ready to step up, embrace a challenge, and make a real difference to the lives of young people affected by cancer.

Senior Supervising Social Worker

Salary: £42,032 per annum + £750 Homeworking Allowance per annum + £1,500 OOH allowance per annum (once on the rota)

Contract - Fixed Term - 12 Months
Location: Homebased - Somerset and Devon. Travel predominantly across Somerset and Devon, specifically from Bridgewater down the M5 to Exeter and the A380 to Torbay, for home visits to support carers and children, and to complete Form F assessments. Travel also requires the postholder to attend staff meetings and team away days.

This will include undertaking initial visits, completing Form F assessments, and supporting foster families post approval. There is potential for the post to become permanent with the successful growth across the area.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
In this role, you will use your specialist knowledge of housing legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017,to prevent and relieve homelessness through timely, proactive interventions. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop co-produced Personal Housing Plans that empower clients to resolve their housing issues where possible.
By maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and following up on all actions promptly, you will ensure that risks of homelessness are minimised and statutory duties are met effectively.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
You will bring knowledge, experience, or relevant qualifications in housing and homelessness legislation, including private rented housing, the Homelessness Reduction Act, eviction processes, and tenants' rights. You will also have a good understanding of welfare benefits legislation and health and safety, alongside experience addressing the causes of homelessness and developing effective interventions with service users. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment, you will be highly organised, able to manage a busy caseload, prioritise competing demands, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and the wider community. A proactive, solution-focused approach is essential, along with the ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. You will be confident using IT systems and databases, maintaining accurate case records and reporting. With a strong work ethic, customer-focused mindset, and a genuine commitment to making a difference, you will thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment.
