The role
This is a rare chance to shape a role from the ground up. As our Community Development Worker, you won't be managing an established programme — you'll be building one. You'll get to know Holtspur street by street, person by person, and turn what you learn into activities that genuinely matter: community meals, bereavement support, family and children's groups, informal spaces where people feel they belong. Our practical online sessions help older people use smartphones, WhatsApp, video calling, online services, AI and other everyday technology with greater confidence and independence.

You will identify suitable organisations, open conversations with decision-makers and develop relationships that lead to annual Tech Club partnerships.
Our anticipated organisational partnership is worth approximately £10,000 per year, giving the right person the opportunity to earn substantial commission from each successful agreement.

Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Delivery, this is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for shaping and driving the delivery of responsive repairs across a diverse housing portfolio. You'll lead the operational performance of Responsive Repairs, Voids, Legal Disrepair & Insurance, and Healthy Homes, ensuring services are efficient, compliant, customer-focused and deliver outstanding outcomes for residents.
This is far more than a traditional repairs management role.
