Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

This is an exciting time to join us in our High Value fundraising efforts at Crisis. We are in the private phase of a £30m campaign to acquire 100 homes, providing stable housing for people experiencing some of the most severe forms of homelessness. At the same time, we are delivering a bold ten-year strategy that aims to see the beginning of the end of homelessness by 2034.

This campaign is about more than purchasing homes. It's about proving that a different approach is possible, demonstrating how housing can provide lasting stability, influence future policy and practice, and help disrupt the systems that drive homelessness. High Value fundraising will play a central role in making that vision a reality, giving fundraisers the opportunity to build relationships with major donors, trusts and partners around one of the most significant and ambitious areas of Crisis' work.

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, tenacious new business fundraiser to join our team and win new high-value corporate partnerships that support our housing delivery strategy, the delivery and growth of our Skylight services, and national policy and campaigning work.

As our Senior National New Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and winning six and seven figure new corporate partnerships across priority sectors. This is a role for a senior new business specialist who thrives on building strong relationships externally and winning big.

You’ll build and convert relationships with major corporate prospects and create compelling commercial, and strategic high-value propositions that are tailored to your prospects’ priorities and strategies. You’ll identify opportunities from high-profile COTY partnerships to strategic collaborations, that unlock value for both corporate partners and Crisis.

This role will work closely with colleagues across Crisis to identify innovative new partnership opportunities, develop and drive forward your sector strategies, influence senior stakeholders, and bring ambitious opportunities to life.

You will be part of a go-getting partnerships team and brand, marketing and fundraising department with ambitious income growth plans. This exciting role is vital to helping us achieve our ambitions.

About you

• An experienced high-value corporate new business fundraiser and relationship builder.
• We’re looking for someone who is a competitive and a self-starter, who can navigate and influence a complex organisation, distil information and package up new high-value propositions at pace.
• Specialist in building and cultivating multiple corporate prospects (from cold) through your pipeline, including COTYs, corporate foundations, strategic partnerships and cause-related marketing.
• Experienced at identifying, pitching and successfully securing six and seven figure corporate partnerships
• Someone who loves building external relationships, always seeking out new opportunities and building networks.
• Strong communication skills, an ability to influence upwards internally and externally, and ability to write succinct, commercially compelling applications, proposals, pitches and vote strategies.
• Commercially savvy, we’re looking for someone who understands their priority sectors and can adapt industry priorities, motivations and funding trends into corporate new business opportunities for Crisis.
• Someone who has experience spotting the partnership opportunities that others may miss and is proactive and solutions-focussed enabling them to turn opportunities into proposals that can be converted into sector-leading partnerships.

How Homeless Health Peer Advocacy Works 

HHPA helps people experiencing homelessness overcome the barriers that prevent them accessing healthcare. 

Many people face significant challenges navigating health services. Appointments can be difficult to attend, treatment can be confusing, and previous experiences of stigma, trauma or exclusion can make healthcare feel inaccessible. Without the right support, people often delay seeking help until their health has deteriorated.

HHPA Client 

HHPA provides practical, person-centred support that helps people access the care they need while building the confidence to manage their own health. Rather than providing one-off interventions, HHPA works alongside people over time, developing trusted relationships, responding flexibly to changing needs and supporting people to become more confident and independent. 

The service combines the expertise of skilled Caseworkers with the unique insight of trained volunteer Peer Advocates who have lived experience of homelessness. Together they provide one-to-one advocacy, practical support and health promotion to help people: 

• register with healthcare services 

• prepare for and attend appointments 

• understand treatment and care plans 

• navigate hospital admission and discharge 

• access wider health and wellbeing services 

• make informed decisions about their health 

• become increasingly confident in managing their own health. 

Alongside one-to-one support, HHPA delivers peer-led health promotion in hostels, day centres, outreach settings and other community spaces. Through informal conversations and group activities, Peer Advocates share accessible information about physical health, mental health and wellbeing, encourage preventative healthcare, identify unmet health needs and help people access support earlier. These conversations often provide the first step towards engaging with healthcare, creating trusted pathways into ongoing advocacy and reducing the need for crisis intervention. 

Rather than doing things for people, HHPA works alongside them—building trust, reducing barriers and enabling people to become active participants in their own healthcare. This relational, peer-led approach improves individual health outcomes while strengthening partnerships across health, housing and homelessness services, helping more people access coordinated, person-centred care.  

The Role 

The HHPA Development Manager is a key leadership role within Groundswell's HHPA service. 

You'll help shape how people experiencing homelessness access healthcare by strengthening partnerships across London's health, housing and homelessness system while leading the continued development of our Health Promotion programme. 

People experiencing homelessness often interact with multiple services but still experience fragmented care, missed opportunities for prevention and barriers to accessing the support they need. HHPA bridges these gaps through trusted relationships, peer-led advocacy and health promotion. This role helps create the partnerships, systems and programmes that make that possible. 

This isn't a traditional partnership management role focused on maintaining stakeholder relationships. It's a practical, hands-on leadership role that brings organisations together, supports colleagues to deliver excellent services and identifies opportunities to improve how healthcare is delivered and experienced. 

Working closely with the Services Director, Systems Manager and Health and Social Care Lead, you'll help ensure HHPA remains well connected, continually improving and responsive to changing need. 

The role combines five key areas of responsibility: 

Leading the Service  
Providing day-to-day operational leadership, supporting colleagues and helping ensure HHPA is delivered safely, consistently and effectively. 

Building Partnerships  
Developing strong relationships with NHS organisations, local authorities, homelessness services and voluntary organisations to embed HHPA and strengthen collaborative working. 

Leading Health Promotion  
Developing and overseeing Groundswell's Health Promotion and In-Reach programme, working with partners to deliver accessible, peer-led health promotion that encourages earlier engagement with healthcare. 

Growing HHPA  
Using learning from frontline delivery and partnership working to improve services, develop new approaches and support the expansion of HHPA into new boroughs and communities. 

Developing People  
Supporting, developing and inspiring staff and volunteers through reflective supervision, shared learning and a culture that values lived experience, collaboration and continuous improvement. 

Together, these responsibilities make this a varied and influential role where you'll help shape both the future of HHPA and the wider health and homelessness system. 

Role Description 

As HHPA Development Manager, you'll provide operational leadership for key areas of Groundswell's Homeless Health Peer Advocacy service. 

You'll lead the development of strategic partnerships, oversee the delivery and growth of our Health Promotion programme, support and develop staff and volunteers, and identify opportunities to strengthen and expand HHPA. 

Working closely with the Services Director, Systems Manager and Health and Social Care Lead, you'll help ensure the service is well connected, evidence-informed and continually improving, so that more people experiencing homelessness can access timely, coordinated and person-centred healthcare. 

Building Partnerships: 

Develop trusted relationships across health, housing and homelessness services so organisations work together more effectively and people experiencing homelessness can access timely, coordinated healthcare. 

• Build and sustain relationships with NHS organisations, local authorities, homelessness services and community partners. 

• Support the Services Director to develop relationships with commissioners and strategic partners. 

• Represent Groundswell at operational meetings, networks and multidisciplinary teams. 

• Champion peer-led health advocacy and the involvement of people with lived experience. 

• Work with partners to identify shared challenges and develop practical solutions. 

Embedding HHPA in Local Systems: 

Help ensure HHPA becomes an established and valued part of local health and homelessness systems by strengthening collaboration and improving access to the service. 

• Embed HHPA within partner organisations' day-to-day practice.  

• Strengthen collaboration between HHPA staff and local services.  

• Develop and improve referral pathways.  

• Support timely, appropriate referrals and monitor referral activity. 

• Identify and resolve barriers to effective partnership working. 

• Work with the Systems Manager to strengthen systems that support collaboration. 

Leading Health Promotion: 

Lead the development of Groundswell's peer-led Health Promotion and In-Reach programme, helping people engage with healthcare earlier through accessible, trauma-informed support in hostels, day centres and community settings. 

• Develop partnerships that expand Health Promotion opportunities.  

• Oversee delivery across boroughs.  

• Develop accessible health information with communications colleagues.  

• Monitor quality, impact and learning and produce reports for funders  

• Ensure activities are delivered safely, including venue risk assessments where required.  

Leading and Developing People: 

Create a supportive, high-performing culture where staff and volunteers can thrive. 

• Line manage a team of Caseworkers and support volunteers.   

• Provide reflective supervision that encourages learning, wellbeing and high-quality practice.   

• Promote continuous learning and reflective practice.   

• Working alongside the Volunteer Management team, support volunteer recruitment, induction and ongoing development.   

• Foster collaboration, accountability and shared learning across teams.   

• Use coaching and asset-based approaches to help staff and volunteers recognise their strengths, build their skills and reach their potential.  

Improving Services: 

Use learning from partnerships, health promotion and complex casework to strengthen HHPA and improve system responses. 

• Work with the Health and Social Care Lead to improve multi-agency responses.  

• Identify opportunities to develop and expand HHPA.  

• Support the introduction of services in new boroughs.  

• Share innovation and best practice across the organisation.  

• Contribute to continuous improvement.  

Supporting Service Delivery: 

Alongside your strategic responsibilities, you'll help ensure HHPA delivers a responsive, safe and reliable service every day. 

• Participate in the HHPA duty system, including occasional early and late shifts.  

• Maintain effective communication with partners around referrals and triage.  

• Work with colleagues to resolve operational challenges.  

General Responsibilities: 

As a member of the HHPA leadership team, you'll contribute to the wider development of Groundswell. 

• Contribute to organisational planning and Team Leads meetings.

Success in this role is measured not simply by the partnerships you build, but by the difference those partnerships—and Groundswell's Health Promotion programme—make to people's lives and to the way health and homelessness services work together. 

In your first year, you will have: 

• Built trusted partnerships across London's health, housing and homelessness system, establishing Groundswell as a valued and reliable partner.  

• Embedded HHPA within local services, strengthening referral pathways and making it easier for people experiencing homelessness to access timely, coordinated healthcare.  

• Led and developed Groundswell's Health Promotion and In-Reach programme, expanding peer-led health promotion across London and creating more opportunities for people to engage with healthcare earlier, in trusted community settings.  

• Supported and developed Caseworkers, volunteers and colleagues, creating a positive culture of reflection, collaboration and continuous learning.  

• Worked alongside colleagues and partner organisations to improve responses for people with complex needs, removing barriers to healthcare and strengthening multidisciplinary working.  

• Used learning from partnerships and frontline delivery to improve existing services, support innovation and contribute to the growth of HHPA into new boroughs.  

• Helped strengthen the wider health and homelessness system by promoting earlier intervention, improving collaboration and ensuring more people experiencing homelessness can access healthcare with dignity, confidence and choice.

These roles work closely together, combining strategic leadership, operational delivery, partnership development and specialist expertise to ensure HHPA is safe, effective and continually improving.

Are you an organised, confident communicator who enjoys bringing people together to make things happen? Youth United Foundation is looking for a Project Coordinator to support our work with our national network of uniformed youth organisations and partner organisations.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating projects, forums and partner relationships that help more young people access the life-changing opportunities offered by uniformed youth groups. Working closely with our Director, network members and partner organisations, you’ll keep activity on track, support stakeholder engagement, gather insight, and help shape clear reporting and future plans.

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working with people at all levels: from operational leads to senior stakeholders. You may be coordinating national network forums one day, supporting research and interviews the next, or helping bring uniformed youth organisations together for Remembrance Sunday activity at the Cenotaph.

The Bexley Health & Wellbeing Coaching Service is delivered through a partnership of voluntary and community organisations working together to improve health and wellbeing outcomes across the borough. Bringing together a diverse range of local charities and community organisations, the partnership combines specialist knowledge, trusted community relationships, and local expertise to support residents to live healthier, more independent lives.

While coaches will be employed and hosted by partner organisations, they will form part of a borough-wide Health & Wellbeing Coaching team.

Working predominantly within North Bexley, the coach will take a proactive, prevention-focused approach, carrying out Vital 5 checks, supporting behaviour change, and connecting residents to local health and community services.

About the Service

The Lambeth Refuge Service provides skilled, specialist support for women and children across our refuges, enabling them to address both their practical and emotional needs during this difficult time of transition. Support is also provided to ensure women and children are safe and their core needs are met in relation to finances and welfare benefits, housing, especially move-on accommodation, legal matters, immigration issues, health, education, training and employment.

About the Role

As Refuge Caseworker, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for women and families escaping abuse. You’ll handle phone enquiries, prepare rooms for new arrivals, support with deliveries, and help maintain clean, safe communal areas.

You’ll introduce new residents to Solace services, explain key policies, and ensure they are aware of internal and external support options. Working alongside each resident, you will develop support plans, assist with benefits and housing applications, accompany them to appointments when needed.

Days in the refuge can be unpredictable, and the role requires some lone working, as such we need staff who feel comfortable working alone as well as part of a team.

About You

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, practical, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to supporting survivors of domestic abuse. You’re confident working in a busy, varied environment and can balance hands‑on tasks with administrative responsibilities.

You communicate clearly, build trusting relationships, and work well with service users, colleagues, and external agencies. As an organised professional, you are also reliable, and able to maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational procedures. You’ll provide non-judgmental, confidential, and psychologically informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.

Additional Information

The postholder will be based at our Lambeth refuge (across two locations), providing on-site support to survivors. Given the nature of this role and our refuge services, we are unable to offer hybrid working for this position.

The salary for this post is £17,631 - £18,402 (pro-rata of £29,385 - £30,671 Unqualified)) or £17,953 - £19,573 (pro-rata of £29,923 - £32,623 (Qualified)).

This post is a fixed term contract to 31st March 2027.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising Delivery

· Deliver challenge and community fundraising campaigns and events that achieve agreed income and participation targets.

· Support the Community & Challenge Events Manager with the delivery and stewardship of Back Up's London Marathon programme, taking ownership of agreed areas of delivery.

· Support delivery of The Push, No Limits Ride, Do the Loop and other Back Up Challenge Events.

· Deliver accessible, inclusive Community fundraising opportunities.

· Coordinate suppliers, volunteers and event logistics.

· Maintain accurate CRM and financial records.

Supporter Experience & Stewardship

· Build long-term supporter relationships that maximise fundraising, retention and lifetime value.

· Coach and motivate supporters to exceed fundraising targets.

· Deliver timely stewardship, thanking and impact reporting.

· Identify opportunities to improve supporter experience, fundraising performance and operational efficiency, making recommendations to the Community & Challenge Events Manager.

Planning, Performance & Insight

· Monitor recruitment, participation, fundraising and stewardship KPIs across the community and challenge fundraising portfolio.

· Maintain accurate supporter records, event information and financial data within the CRM and fundraising platforms.

· Produce performance reports and updates for the Community & Challenge Events Manager.

· Gather and share supporter feedback and learning to help evaluate and continually improve fundraising activities.

· Support the effective administration and evaluation of fundraising activities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with fundraising policies and procedures.

Collaboration

· Work with Communications & Marketing on recruitment and stewardship.

· Work with Services to engage participants and volunteers.

· Support Corporate Partnerships.

· Champion fundraising across the organisation.
