Primary Purpose:

‘Green Connections’ is an innovative project which supports older people in Crewe and Nantwich surrounding area to reconnect with nature in their yards and gardens, connect older and isolated individuals with wider support and local opportunities to help relieve social isolation and loneliness.  It also provides group delivery sessions around gardening based activities in care homes and community settings

This position involves actively engaging with people aged 50 plus who wish to connect to nature and learn more about their garden or gardening activities. You will be responsible for community engagement, organising resources, working with older people in their homes for tailored sessions and providing group delivery sessions in the community and care homes..

The Green Connections Coordinator role also involves actively engaging older people with services and support available, enhancing their quality of life. You will coordinate with other organisations and use their resources to secure additional support, always prioritising the consent and preferences of the clients. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, offering vital support to those in need.

Main Duties:

· Support with teaching older people new gardening skills in attending to their planters and encourage new interests in wildlife and biodiversity.

· Promote and engage with the network of organisations that work with older people in and around Crewe and Nantwich to maintain and develop positive relationships and referral routes

· Update monitoring and evaluation systems to accurately record project outcomes and volunteer information.

· Be the first point of contact for the project and build relationships with individuals, local agencies and groups.

· Assess individuals and their circumstances to understand suitability for the project.

· Work with older individuals in choosing an offer to suit their lifestyle, needs and wishes.

· Be responsible for connecting people into local advice and support.

· Link isolated older people with volunteer support.

· Train and support a core local volunteer team in doing light maintenance and planting in group sessions, gardens, yards and raised planters.

· Ensure appropriate resources are sourced.

· Assist the Service Manager in promoting/marketing the project.

· Provide group delivery sessions in Crewe and Nantwich within care settings and community groups

Essential Criteria

· Experience of delivering community gardening or practical experience in environmental activities

· Experience of organising initiatives and opportunities for community and volunteer involvement

· Experience of planning and delivery of group sessions to support engagement and learning

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and also knowledge and experience of using a client database

· Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative

We Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of sexual harms. We have developed a three-tiered approach to services and underpin everything we do with a ‘trauma and recovery’ framework pioneered by Dr Judith Herman.

About You

You will be a qualified counsellor / psychotherapist who holds at least a Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy or equivalent and be registered with BACP or equivalent (preferably an accredited member). You will understand issues relating to trauma, be able to work as part of a team and feel confident working in a prison setting. You will hold a full driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be within a reasonable commute to estates.

At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead our community fundraising and individual giving efforts and help shape the future of WeSwim’s income.

We already have a strong community of swimmers and volunteers who care deeply about WeSwim. In this role, you’ll work with the community to create more fundraising activitym supporting our members to fundraise in ways that feel achievable, inclusive and meaningful. You’ll be the main point of contact for community fundraisers, creating simple tools and resources that help people feel confident getting involved.

You’ll also work closely with the CEO to develop and grow WeSwim’s individual giving and monthly donations, helping to transform our mix of income over time.

The Statutory Partnerships Manager will lead the organisation's approach to growing income from government and statutory funders. The role focuses on identifying and shaping new funding opportunities aligned to government policy and programmes, developing high-quality bids and tenders, and building strong relationships with decision-makers across departments and devolved administrations. Working closely with colleagues across Operations, Research and Income, the postholder will ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities, robust processes and compliance, and clear reporting to support the Group’s growth objectives.

The organisation are looking for an experienced statutory funding professional with a strong track record of securing and exceeding income targets. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of the statutory funding and policy landscape, excellent research and bid-writing skills, and the ability to spot and develop opportunities that align the organisation's expertise with government need. They will be analytical, organised and persuasive, comfortable working independently while collaborating with senior colleagues and motivated by their values and commitment to equity, inclusion and improving outcomes for families affected by disability and poverty.

Responsible for all Continuous Professional Development (CPD) resources and activity of the Royal College of Paramedics, The primary role of the National CPD Lead will be overall responsibility for all CPD delivered by the Royal College of Paramedics, including ensuring the quality of content across the current and future range of platforms, (including video, webinars, events, podcasting). 

The National CPD Lead is responsible for the efficient and effective management of specific pre-agreed workstreams aligned with realisation of the Royal College’s strategy objectives, this will require budget awareness along with supervision and management of team members. 

As a senior member the College team – the National CPD Lead will provide a leadership presenceacross the organisation, contributing to policy and planning, staff development and membershipengagement and growth. They will be an able, confident and competent communicator, engagingeffectively at all levels, from student members to the Royal College of Paramedics Board and Council to national partners and colleagues. 

The primary role of the National CPD Lead is to provide assurance, support and leadership in the provision of face to face and virtual CPD delivered by the College of Paramedics, including: 

• Ensuring the quality of content across the current and future range of platforms (including events, video, webinars, courses, and podcasting). 

• Reviewing and developing CPD activities which meet the needs of members and the profession

As an employee, the National CPD Lead will promote the Royal College, and its aims and objectives by building effective relationships with members, other healthcare colleagues, employers and other stakeholder bodies.
