Stroke Association is the UK's largest charity dedicated to supporting patients and their families with the emotional, practical and financial impact a stroke can have.

A stroke can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time! One in four strokes happen in people of working age.

Surviving a stroke is just the start of a long and difficult journey to recovery. The Stroke Association is there to support stroke survivors and help their families find the strength they need.

We are thrilled to be working with the partnerships team to find two passionate and talented individuals to raise vital funds, to enable lifelong support for all stroke survivors, just like Leighton.

The community partnerships role will focus on organisations within communities across the country, where as the new business role will deliver new partnerships with corporate businesses.

The Role

As a Partnerships Officer you will build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with organisations that align with Stroke Associations values and mission.

The role will focus on developing new strategic partnerships and stewarding existing relationships. The main responsibilities will include:

• Acquiring, developing and growing partnerships
• Developing a pipeline, using engaging strategies to achieve effective partnerships.
• Delivering exceptional stewardship, to build strong mutually beneficial relationships.
• Ensuring the long-term sustainability of income

The Person

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with excellent communication and relationship building skills.

You should be excited by the prospect of building new partnerships and be confident stewarding relationships with various organisations.

You must be able to work flexibly to maximise opportunities across, and have the initiative and ability to work with autonomy.

Previous experience in fundraising is desirable; however, we are also keen to speak with people who also have the knowledge and experience in building relationships and are keen to transfer this skillset into the rewarding world of fundraising!

About the Role

We Are Survivors are currently looking for individuals that have the passion, drive and determination to help us deliver our OUT Spoken Talking Therapy Services in HMP Garth and HMP Wymott.

We Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of sexual harms. We have developed a three-tiered approach to services and underpin everything we do with a ‘trauma and recovery’ framework pioneered by Dr Judith Herman.

We are currently commissioned to deliver trauma-informed therapy services in 15 prisons across the Northwest of England and we require postings in our prisons across Merseyside, Lancaster and Cheshire. Please note we have no vacancies in our Greater Manchester prisons.

About You

You will be a qualified counsellor / psychotherapist who holds at least a Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy or equivalent and be registered with BACP or equivalent (preferably an accredited member). You will understand issues relating to trauma, be able to work as part of a team and feel confident working in a prison setting. You will hold a full driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be within a reasonable commute to estates.

At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. For many of our swimmers, the water offers a new freedom, easing pain, building confidence, and opening up new ways to move and connect. Our work is powered by community, care and people who believe swimming should be accessible to everyone.

We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead our community fundraising and individual giving efforts and help shape the future of WeSwim’s income.

We already have a strong community of swimmers and volunteers who care deeply about WeSwim. In this role, you’ll work with the community to create more fundraising activitym supporting our members to fundraise in ways that feel achievable, inclusive and meaningful. You’ll be the main point of contact for community fundraisers, creating simple tools and resources that help people feel confident getting involved.

You’ll also work closely with the CEO to develop and grow WeSwim’s individual giving and monthly donations, helping to transform our mix of income over time.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about volunteering and community engagement
• Highly organised with strong communication skills
• Confident using IT systems, databases, and Microsoft Office
• Able to motivate, support and build positive relationships
• Experience of working with volunteers or co-ordinating people (desirable)
• Committed to the values of hospice and palliative care

Previous experience in healthcare, or a regulated environment would be an advantage, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

Visitor Marketing Officer
Location: WWT Slimbridge GL2, London Wetland Centre SW13 or WWT Martin Mere L40 (Hybrid work available)
Salary: £27,847 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Work Pattern: This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About The Role

Do you enjoy creating marketing campaigns that inspire people to take action? Can you balance creativity with data-driven decision-making to deliver results? Are you confident building relationships and communicating effectively? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Reporting to the Senior Visitor Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering our visitor marketing strategy to increase first-time visitors and drive profitable visitation across WWT’s wetland sites. Working collaboratively with site marketing leads, central teams, and external agencies, you’ll develop marketing campaigns, manage budgets, and ensure brand consistency while evaluating performance and monitoring trends.

We’re looking for an individual with:

• Demonstrable marketing experience, including digital and print.
• Strong project and budget administrative skills.
• Ability to balance deadlines and prioritise effectively.
• Creative thinker with excellent communication skills.
• Confidence in building relationships across teams and with external partners.
• Demonstratable professional, friendly, diplomatic and patient approach.

While this post is based at WWT Slimbridge, London or Martin Mere, with the opportunity for hybrid working, it is expected that the role would work from site once a week, as required for key meetings at other WWT wetland sites.
