Job purpose

To act as the organisation’s lead professional for complaint handling and quality improvement across all Advice Services.

To ensure the effective resolution of client complaints by maintaining expert knowledge of regulated advice and delivering excellent customer service. Provide regulatory insights in team discussions on MHCBS and Regulation 17 creditor challenges. Analyse complaint trends and produce reports to establish consistent processes that enhance service quality, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.

To support the Head of Quality and Compliance in ensuring Toynbee Hall’s advice services remain fully compliant with FCA, MaPS, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Complaints and Challenge Management

• Lead the end-to-end management of all client complaints, overseeing first-stage advice service resolutions and directly managing escalated complaints, while contributing regulatory insight to team discussions on MHCBS and Regulation 17 creditor challenges.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and fair resolution in accordance with FCA and MaPS complaint-handling procedures.
• Act as the organisational escalation point for complex or high-risk advice-related complaints, including cases involving direct client or creditor challenges under MHCBS and Regulation 17
• Liaise with external stakeholders, creditors, and partners to resolve disputes and maintain strong working relationships.
• Maintain an accurate and auditable record of all complaints, decisions, and resolutions.

Quality and Compliance Oversight

• Work with the Head of Quality and Compliance to monitor compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Conduct audits and case reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the design and implementation of quality-improvement plans, policies, and tools.
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership, highlighting trends and risks across services.

Continuous Improvement and Learning

• Translate insights from complaints and audits into practical service improvements.
• Collaborate with Advice Managers and Coordinators to integrate learning into casework and training.
• Support staff training and development on complaint handling, communication, and quality assurance.
• Promote a culture of transparency, fairness, and continuous learning within advice delivery teams to ensure ongoing service improvement and the highest possible standard of support for Toynbee Hall clients.

Regulatory and Partnership Liaison

• Proactively maintain and develop knowledge of regulations, legislation, and best practice across all advice areas by engaging in relevant training, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Ensure complaint handling and quality monitoring comply with FCA MaPS  and advice quality standards.
• Support preparation for audits, funder reviews, and regulatory inspections.
• Keep colleagues informed of relevant regulatory changes and implications for practice.

General Responsibilities

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

Experience and Knowledge

• Hold a valid Money and. Pension Service accredited qualification in debt advice
• A minimum of two years’ full time (2,220 hours) or equivalent part-time experience of delivering debt advice
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of advice areas, with particular expertise in FCA regulations, MaPS quality frameworks, and the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space Regulation
• Significant experience managing complaints and quality processes within a regulated advice
• Proven experience in complaint resolution, creditor negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to analyse complex cases and identify systemic issues or risks.
• Experience developing and implementing service improvement plans.

About the role

The Research and Evaluation Manager will work to position King’s College London as a sector leader on conducting institutional evaluation and research to understand how we can support students from underrepresented groups to access university and succeed at university. Our team aims to generate causal evidence, either through Randomised Controlled Trials or Quasi-experimental designs.

· Confident in conducting data analysis including handling large data sets and statistical testing using relevant software (such as Power BI, R, Stata, or SPSS) and presenting findings in various formats. 

· Confident and clear written and verbal communication, including report-writing, data visualisation and presentation skills. 

· Ability to give a team clear direction and guide it to the successful completion of a task. 

· Ability to identify and manage the objectives, performance, and development needs of others.

· Postgraduate degree or qualification in research methods, statistics, analytics or a related field and/or relevant experience.

Through Bexley Buddies, you will support volunteer-led initiatives within GP practices that address non-medical needs, reduce social isolation and strengthen community wellbeing.

Through Digital Champions, you will recruit, train and support volunteers who help residents build digital confidence — particularly in using online health services and apps.

For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035. 

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission. 

We’re on a mission to connect with thousands more bereaved military families and that starts with storytelling.We believe that ‘social’ media is in the past and what is needed today is ‘interest’ media – great content that engages its target audience has the potential to reach more people than a high follow count.As Content Creator, you’ll be our expert in creating great content, capturing the emotion, personality, and purpose behind everything we do. 

This is a fast-paced, highly proactive role focused on creating short-form video and photo content for social media. You’ll attend events, follow team members in action, and use your creative instincts to turn everyday moments into compelling content that resonates with our unique audience. We’re not looking for slick corporate videos, we want quick-turnaround, on-brand, authentic content that stops the scroll and builds trust. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Content Creation 

• Film and edit short-form video content (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories etc) for use across Scotty’s social channels. 

• Capture and edit photography when needed, particularly from in-person events and outreach activity, often on the go. 

• Work proactively to identify and attend opportunities to film team members and events (e.g. corporate talks, family days, community activity). 

• Jump on relevant trends and moments, adapting them to fit the tone, audience, and sensitivity of our cause. 

• Create great content which will educate or entertain our target audiences (within the bereaved military community). 

Editing & Tools 

• Use tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or iPhone editing apps to deliver content quickly and efficiently. 

• Add subtitles, basic transitions, music, and graphics where appropriate, always with accessibility and brand in mind. 

• Maintain an organised archive of content and assets for reuse across campaigns. 

• Work closely with the Social Media & Marketing Exec to provide platform-ready content.

Planning & Collaboration 

• Collaborate with the Head of Outreach and Social Media & Marketing Executive to contribute to the content calendar and plan campaigns inline with goals. 

• Bring creative ideas to the table and take initiative in spotting content opportunities. 

• Work to brand guidelines while retaining creative flexibility, balancing tone, authenticity, and audience sensitivity. 

The 30-day goals for this role are: 

• Built a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction. 

• Conduct a full audit of the charities existing assets, tools and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

Office & Administrative Operations

What you'll be doing
The Head of Communications and Partnerships (for Reconciling Leaders Network) will lead RLN's communications, marketing, and digital engagement strategy, ensuring our message is clear, compelling, and consistent across all channels, extending the reach and engagement of Difference. This role is central to shaping how RLN and Difference are experienced by audiences in the UK and globally.

The successful candidate will bring understanding of the reconciliation and peacebuilding sector, as well as the geo-political and church contexts in which RLN operates. They will be a strategic thinker, a skilled marketeer, theologically astute and a relationship builder who is committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and justice, and brings cultural sensitivity to their work and leadership.

The post holder will support the bold objectives for this reconciliation ministry. They will have budgetary and line-management responsibilities and work with external agencies and freelancers to deliver outcomes.
You will work with and through Anglican systems, structures and networks as well ecumenically across different Christian denominations and other organisations - reaching a global audience. As well as working with civic, community and multinational organisations and networks.
