Autistic Parents UK (APUK) is a national Disabled People’s Organisation led by and for autistic parents. We are entering an exciting new phase of development and are looking for a Strategic Development & Growth Lead to help shape and strengthen our future.
This is a senior, strategic role within a small but ambitious charity. Working closely with our Board of Trustees and Services Lead, you will drive organisational growth, secure sustainable funding, and build partnerships that expand our reach and impact. You will play a key role in ensuring APUK continues to support autistic parents across the UK while remaining firmly rooted in autistic-led, neuro-affirming values.
About the Role
You will lead on developing and delivering APUK’s organisational strategy, identifying opportunities for sustainable growth, and strengthening systems and infrastructure. A key focus of the role will be developing and implementing income generation strategies, including securing grants, building partnerships, and exploring new funding opportunities such as training and commissioned services.
You will also oversee marketing and communications strategy, helping raise APUK’s profile and engagement with communities, partners, and stakeholders. Alongside this, you will support internal development, including governance, monitoring and evaluation systems, and supporting the charity’s expansion as it grows.
The role is subject to a basic DBS check.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong experience in strategic development, organisational growth and income generation within the charity or not-for-profit sector. You will need to have a proven track record of securing funding, building partnerships, and delivering strategic initiatives.
You will understand and be committed to Disabled People’s Organisation principles, neurodiversity, and the social model of disability.
You will be comfortable working collaboratively in a remote, values-led organisation and able to manage priorities strategically within a part-time role.

About the Role
As People and Culture Lead, reporting to the Director of Execution & Planning, you will be responsible for the development of the People function at Global Canopy. Salary & Benefits
Salary: £55,000- £60,000 full time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.
Nature of contract: Full time or 0.8 FTE. Permanent. This is a hybrid role working from home and our office in Oxford. There is a requirement to attend the office once a week and for other meetings/work as required.
Holidays: 36 days (including bank/public holidays) for discretionary use across the annual leave year. Option to purchase up to an additional 5 days or equivalent of one week’s leave.

Purpose of the role:
Seasonal Worker Scheme (SWS) call handlers will be responsible for responding to a variety of forms of contact made through the SWS support line. You will work as part of a small but dynamic and friendly team responding to a variety of callers and contacts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include answering incoming calls and contacts, making callouts, sending emails, drafting referrals to external agencies, and maintaining accurate data. You will form part of a triage service that will signpost callers and contacts to identified third parties who can deal appropriately with their enquiry. You will ensure all actions and data are recorded accurately and promptly to aid relevant follow up and close out of issues. You will be person-centred and deal with a variety of worker issues, including dealing with workers who may be in situations of exploitation. SWS call handlers will report directly to the Worker Wellbeing Manager within our Business Services Team.

Key responsibilities
Strategic communications leadership
· Acting as the brand guardian, oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of high-quality strategic communications, branding and media strategies aligned with WeProtect Global Alliance’s organisational objectives.
· Embed a global communications lens across the Alliance’s work, proactively identifying opportunities to amplify impact and reach priority audiences.
· Provide expert advice on positioning, proactive and reactive communications, and reputational management to shape the Alliance’s approach.
· Ensure communications is embedded in actions plans and lead on monitoring, evaluation and insight.
External communications & media
· Ensure strong visibility and consistent branding across all communications channels, reinforcing WeProtect Global Alliance’s role as a leading global voice on online child sexual exploitation and abuse.

Purpose
Our Immigration Team works closely with Birmingham City University (BCU) to run the Immigration Law Student Clinic, a key source of free accredited immigration advice for people in Birmingham who cannot afford legal support.
The role involves supervising students as they research and prepare legal advice, coordinating day‑to‑day clinic activity, and supporting casework within CELC’s immigration team. You will recruit, train, and mentor students, ensuring they have an excellent student experience and helping them develop practical legal skills while ensuring clients receive an excellent service.
Responsibilities
Working closely with Birmingham City University the Law Clinic Supervisor will:
- Recruit and select students for involvement in the clinic
- Undertaking inductions with new students, in line with the Law Centre's Clinic practices ,including training on CELC systems and processes
- Develop and maintain student training manuals, policies, template letters, referral forms etc.
- Assess client cases prior to allocation to students
- Manage overall clinic calendar, allocating client cases to students
- Supervise all elements of student work, providing guidance to ensure accuracy and quality of research undertaken and advice provided
