As a Public Fundraising Assistant, you’ll help deliver engaging face-to-face and telephone fundraising campaigns to grow Dogs Trust’s supporter base. Working in our Public Fundraising team, you’ll play a key role in helping us care for thousands of dogs across the UK.

What does this role do?
As a Public Fundraising Assistant, you will: 

• respond to public enquiries, complaints, and donation updates related to face-to-face fundraising, ensuring all communications reflect the Dogs Trust brand, tone, and procedures.
• liaise with fundraising agencies to monitor campaign performance, resolve incidents or complaints, and ensure all campaign requirements are met.
• support quality assurance by reviewing mystery shop reports, visiting fundraising sites or agencies, and providing feedback to improve performance.
• assist with administrative and campaign support tasks, including managing fundraising materials, handling database queries, and helping with copy and proofing when required.

This role is being offered as a fixed term, family leave cover contract until December 2026. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 22nd May 2026, and will take place on Teams.

The Digital and Data Lead plays a key role in ensuring the Charity’s digital systems and data are effective, reliable and used to their full potential across the organisation. Working closely with the Digital and Data Manager, the post holder will lead on the day to day development, optimisation and use of the Charity’s CRM (Salesforce) and wider digital systems. The role also provides high quality support, insight and training to colleagues.

Finance Administrator – Job Description

Role Purpose

Power Up North London is a leading community energy organisation delivering renewable energy, energy efficiency and retrofit projects that directly benefit community groups and public buildings. The Finance Administrator is responsible for financial management and integrity of Power Up North London’s financial operations. This role will deliver accurate financial and management reporting, budget tracking and oversight of finance processes including cashflow management, invoicing, payments, and associated controls.

Working closely with the Board and external finance partners, the postholder will provide the financial insight and control needed to support decision-making, maintain funder confidence, and enable sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

Financial Management and Governance

· Maintain oversight of Power Up North London ’s financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all financial processes

· Prepare monthly management accounts for internal review and Board reporting

· Support preparation and management of the annual budget

· Track income and expenditure against the approved budget, identifying and explaining variances

· Tracking of grant and project income and expenditures against budget

Billing and Revenue Assurance

· Ensure timely billing and effective debtor management

· Identify and flag billing discrepancies for sites

· Support investigation and resolution of issues to ensure accurate income collection

Cashflow and Treasury Management

· Manage cashflow and maintain accurate cashflow forecasts

· Reconcile bank accounts fortnightly and track cash movements

· Monitor invoicing timeliness and payments disbursements to support effective cashflow management 

Performance Monitoring and Financial Modelling

· Liaise with the Asset Management Team to track financial performance of solar sites and projects against forecasts

· Support analysis of income and expenditure, highlighting risks and opportunities

· Assist in pricing of electricity for new sites and checking financial assumptions and modelling

External Finance Coordination

· Work effectively with Share energy (Power Up North London’s outsourced finance provider)

· Liaise on accounting, reporting, and financial queries, ensuring timely resolution

· Monitor fulfilment of service level agreements  

Financial Controls

· Ensure adherence with Power Up North London’s financial processes and controls

· Implement controls relevant to payments in / out, grants management and bank reconciliations

Shareholder Register Maintenance  

· Maintain internal record of shareholder capital outstanding and member capital and interest payments due

· Update shareholder register for shareholder actions, redemptions, and new issuances

Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.

Job Description  

It’s been a successful few years for the Events team with good results across the board, increasing income by over £1 million a year since 2023. And we’ve just been shortlisted for Fundraising Charity of the Year at the National Fundraising Awards 2026!

Now’s an exciting time as we’ve recently expanded the team again, bringing in new resource to give our different activity areas space to grow and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their work within our ambitious and supportive team.

We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of the role will be project managing fundraising activities which will require a proactive approach and an eagerness to learn, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past.

Examples of projects include the London Marathon, Tough Mudder and our open challenges, but you will work on a variety of activities with the team – sharing learnings and supporting each other to hit our shared goals. You will receive the training and support you need to succeed. 

Key Responsibilities  

Event management and delivery  

• Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on – monitoring objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities are seized and risks are minimised. 
• Create and follow action plans for your projects, taking responsibility for processes and the delivery of tasks on time. 
• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and third-party organisations.
• Ensure all fundraising activities promote PCR’s brand and have a strong connection to people with prostate cancer. 
• Analyse project results based on KPIs & feedback, proactively suggesting changes & improvements. 

Stewardship 

• Lead on the delivery of supporter journeys for your projects, providing a high level of stewardship which motivates our fundraisers to raise more and remain loyal supporters of PCR. 
• Lead on relationship management as required for the fundraising activities you are working on. 
• Carry out stewardship tasks using tools like Mailchimp, GivePanel, JustGiving & Funraisin, for which training will be provided.
• Use feedback & data to spot opportunities for the constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR. 

Marketing and recruitment  

• Work with the team to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation to meet acquisition targets. 
• Create recruitment assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our audiences. 
• With the support of the team, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements. 

Administration and database  

• Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high quality fundraising merchandise. 
• Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required – including coding, database administration, supplier payments, and income & expenditure tracking. 
• Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.

Strategy and development 

• Always have an eye on new opportunities and ideas to inject into your projects, taking a test & learn approach. 
• Contribute to team strategy and budgeting, working with the team to create exciting plans.
• Lead on relevant projects to improve how we do things – from stewardship & content, to processes & compliance. 
• Be proactive in your personal development and look for opportunities to learn – with lots of support from your manager! 

Teamwork 

• Actively contribute to meetings, sharing new ideas and learnings that might be useful for the wider team.
• Work with the team to embed our agile ways of working, where we all take collective responsibility for the team’s goals.

An exciting opportunity for a Data Services Manager has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF). 

WCRF is the UK’s leading cancer prevention charity focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity. 

We are seeking a Data Services Manager to lead and be responsible for the management, use and maintenance of systems and in-house CRM databases to support the achievement of the charity’s fundraising strategic objectives. You will be analysing and reviewing data and reporting on results that can then be used to build engagement with our supporters.You will also be responsible for a team of two people. 

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with industry standard fundraising software solutions in the charity sector, ideally have knowledge of Claris Filemaker products and will have experience of creating new, and maintaining and updating existing, complex database systems.Experience of creating scripts and troubleshooting existing scripts is key, along with considerable hands-on experience of working with complex data sources, transfers and imports. An understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations is required.

The Operations Support Officer is a central support role responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of Music24. The role combines administrative coordination, bookkeeping support, and operational assistance, alongside light communications and event support. You will be a key point of contact for enquiries and referral process, maintaining accurate systems and records; you'll assist with bookkeeping activities, processing invoices and payments; and contribute to our internal and external communications through our social media platforms and website. You will also support a handful of events that the charity runs per year - activites include researching and booking venues, commuications and promotion of events, scheduling volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support across the charity.
• Act as a first point of contact for enquiries via phone, email and online channels.
• Support and maintain our referral system and organised digital filing.
• Assist with scheduling, logistics and general operational coordination.
• Process invoices, expenses and financial records accurately; support basic reporting preparation.
• Manage Gift Aid processing via our database; record and track income and expenditure.
• Support counting and banking of cash payments (in line with protocols).
• Assist with preparing and scheduling social media or website updates (as directed).

The Pleasance Theatre Trust is one of the most established Fringe theatres in the UK - which as a registered charity aims to discover, nurture and support artistic talent from around the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to join our team and provide essential support to the busy Finance Department.

The Finance Coordinator works with the Head of Finance and is responsible for a number of key book keeping and finance functions, including managing the purchase ledger, entering purchase and sales invoices, credit control, reconciliations, month end completion, raising settlements and general finance administration and communication.

With a strong focus on financial management, the ideal candidate will have an interest in pursuing a career in finance and have previous experience working within a finance department. General skills that will be essential within the role include excellent numerical skills, a working knowledge of programmes such as Excel and Word, book keeping - previous experience of book keeping software and the ability to manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail.

The position is based at the Pleasance's London Theatre for the majority of the year, relocating to Edinburgh for the Festival Fringe throughout August. The role will be supported by an Edinburgh Finance Assistant during this time.

London National Park City is looking for a friendly and energetic community organiser to join our small staff team as a Ranger Coordinator. This is a two year contract role for at least four days per week, to support the delivery of our Ranger programme and activities across London.

You will work closely with the Community Director to support the development and confidence of individual Rangers, help deliver our ranger training programme, and support the recruitment and induction of new volunteers into our community, and embody the culture and community that makes our rangers feel supported, connected, and valued.

You will work with the team to support administration of the Ranger Programme and help in the delivery of our small grants programme.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in community organising, who has good attention to detail, community-minded, with experience of facilitating training or events and a genuine passion for community building and nature.

Key Responsibilities

Community Organising & Ranger Community

• Act as a key point of contact and support for Rangers across London, helping them feel connected to the wider community and to London National Park City while getting to know them and their needs individually. 

• Lead on the assembly of our River Rangers cohort, bringing together new and existing Rangers whose projects are connected to our rivers and waterways, and creating engaging learning experiences for them. 

• Facilitate local meetups amongst Rangers, making connections and introductions around shared interests and projects. 

• Facilitate regular Ranger group gatherings, online connections, and peer-learning opportunities that strengthen relationships across the network.

• Support Rangers to lead local activities, events, and projects, providing guidance and connecting them to relevant resources.

• Champion ranger wellbeing and recognise contributions in meaningful, creative ways.

• Identify and support emerging Ranger leaders who can take on more active roles within the network, and help lead Ranger working groups to extend programming and access to resources. 

Ranger Training and Peer Learning

• Work as part of a team to support the ongoing design, development, and continuous improvement of Ranger training and peer learning, to ensure that it is engaging and accessible. Facilitate training and identify the necessary resources to support Rangers in learning green skills alongside exploring climate justice and community organising. Co-ordinate the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, venue booking, communications with participants, and preparation of materials.

• Support the gathering and analysis of feedback from programmes to inform ongoing programme development. 

Ranger Recruitment

• Directly support the identification and recruitment of new Rangers, including developing outreach strategies to attract volunteers from all of London's diverse communities. 

• Working with the communications team, contribute to recruitment materials on our website and digital channels.

• Help manage the application and onboarding process for new Ranger recruits, providing a welcoming and smooth experience from enquiry through to induction.

• Actively build relationships with underrepresented communities, community organisations, and local networks who may be interested in joining the Ranger community. 

Programme and Administration

• Maintain up to date records and administration on Rangers and their activities, including maintaining databases, tracking participation, and preparing reports.

• Contribute to the delivery of the Small Grants programme, including supporting Rangers to apply for grants, and design their projects. 

• Assist with monitoring and evaluation, helping to capture stories, data, and outcomes that demonstrate the impact of the Ranger and Small Grants programmes.

• Handle general correspondence and enquiries relating to both programmes professionally and promptly.

• Experience in community organising or volunteer coordination in a professional or voluntary capacity.

Salary and benefits

You will be joining and fully participating in a unique and inspirational community of changemakers and storytellers, active across London and increasingly around the world.

This is a contract role ideally full-time or for at least four days per week, initially until June 2028. Salary is dependent on experience and in the range of £32,000 to £36,000 full time. We are open to applications for flexible working arrangements which many of our staff take up.

You will have 25 holiday days allowance per year, pro rated for part-time working.

Following successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, we will enrol you in our Nest pension scheme, and will make additional payments of 4% as long as you contribute 4% of your salary each month.

This role involves a mix of remote and in person working with regular travel across London. You must be based in London and be prepared for regular travel.

Selection process

Initial shortlisting will be carried out by our staff panel, who will score candidates’ CVs and responses to the application questions.

Interviews will be conducted by a panel of London National Park City staff, initially via video conference, and in-person for final interviews. Unfortunately we will be unable to provide feedback to applicants not initially shortlisted.
