The Head of Development will be a key member of the Social Sciences Development team within Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE), who will work closely with SoGE and DAE leadership to establish a small Geography team, and to develop a fundraising strategy that serves the School’s goals and grows its philanthropic support.
SoGE is one of the foremost geography and environment university departments in the world, internationally recognised for the quality of its research and teaching. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced major gifts fundraiser who is looking to grow their career in Higher Education through a senior role combining significant fundraising with management of a small team. You will be a collaborative fundraiser with expertise in major gifts and a strong track record of securing complex philanthropic support. The opportunity.....
You will play a pivotal role in growing income across the Hospice and leading new, relationship-based approaches to fundraising.

- Leading and inspiring: At least four years’ experience of inspiring, managing and developing 1+ line reports
- Proposition development: Creative in outlook and with experience of developing donor-centric fundraising propositions

THE ROLE
The Development Manager will proactively develop programme ideas into winnable proposals and progress income from institutional donors as well as trusts and foundations. - Contribute to the development team and overall organisational income targets
- Develop strategies for engaging new prospective donors – including foundations - through research
- Gather and share information on new potential funding and/or themes and contribute to the intelligence and MEL functions of IWPR with donor information and competitor mapping
- To contribute to the overall strategic development of the team including the MEL and networking functions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- At least 4 years of experience working in a similar role
- Significant and demonstrable experience of securing income from institutional donors, trusts and foundations

It is not because they lack potential, but because poverty stacks the odds again them. This affects their education, mental health, and their future.
In 2025 we launched our new strategy ‘For Every Future’ which outlined the charity’s bold mission and our ambitious plans to achieve this. The Role
Corporate partnerships provide a vital source of income at Greenhouse Sports. The priority for the Corporate Partnerships Team is to further grow income, with an ambitious target of £1.1 million in 2025/26 - a 30% increase on the previous year.
The Corporate Development Manager will play a critical role in realising this new income, whilst diversifying the pipeline and strengthening existing relationships through superior cultivation and stewardship.

The Person
The Corporate Development Manager will play a vital role in the continued growth and development of corporate income, with the majority of their time dedicated to sourcing new business.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Identifying and qualifying new partnership leads that demonstrate clear value alignment with Greenhouse Sports, building a substantial pipeline that you will own and drive forward.
- Planning, developing and delivering cultivation journeys for strong leads to secure five- and six- figure corporate partnerships.
- Leading on meetings with new business prospects.
- Designing and creating partnership proposals, presentations and/ or pitches for potential new partners.
- Leading on the renewal of existing five- and six- figure partnerships, developing clear stewardship plans that strengthen relationships and maximise opportunities for growth.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams across the organisation.
- Excelling at use of our CRM (Beacon) and ensuring it’s kept up-to-date.

Location: This role is based at the LUX London office. This position will require at least 3 days per week working at the LUX office. Hybrid working options available.
The Deputy Director main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and risk management aligned with organisational values and Arts Council Investment Principles.
- Co-lead the business plan and long-term strategy with the Director, translating goals into operational delivery.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, audits, payroll, procurement, cash flow, statutory reporting, and fundraising and income generation strategies, ensuring compliance and value for money.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports to public funders, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure legal and governance compliance across charity, company, employment, safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection; support the Board of Trustees with reports and governance documentation.
- Manage operations, including admin systems, IT, building maintenance, insurance, accessibility, sustainability, and lease compliance.

With our transition to the Royal College of Pharmacy drawing nearer we are looking to recruit a Director of Finance and Technology to help with the implementation of our strategic plan and overall leadership and management of the College. This brand new role will lead the Finance and Technology functions and manage our property and investment portfolio to deliver against the Objects of the College.
Initially, the role will focus on taking forward the activity, started by our portfolio CFO, required to launch and embed the financial structure and activities of the Royal College to ensure compliance with our charter objects and the requirements of the charity commission.
About the role:
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the Executive Committee.
- Support the CEO in developing and delivering the College’s Finance Strategy, including five-year forecasts and strategic financial projects.

Person Specification:

- Excellent understanding and experience of how technology can be deployed to support organisational goals
- Understanding of royal charter and charitable organisations.
