This is an exciting opportunity for an Events and Community Fundraising Executive to take responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Whizz Kidz third-party events portfolio, including the London Marathon and Great North Run, and supporting our community fundraisers to raise vital funds.
You will support our events from set up and planning, recruiting and stewarding supporters whilst maintaining an excellent level of supporter care. We are seeing a growth in the number of fundraisers, so it is an exciting time to join Team Whizz Kidz.
Key accountabilities as our Events and Community Fundraising Executive include:
• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from events participants and community fundraisers
• Able to build and develop relationships with fundraisers
• Responsible for general administrative duties such as coding income, thanking supporters and managing and maintaining accurate records on Microsoft Dynamics
• Support on event days with logistics and set up
• Support with volunteer recruitment for the London Marathon
• Produce tailored materials, e.g. fundraising packs and newsletters to motivate and support event participants.
• Work in partnership with our Whizz Kidz running coach to ensure content is received on time and to an agreed standard.
• Work and maintain third-party event platforms
• Responsible for some of Get Involved section of the website, ensuring it regularly updated and optimised
• Maintain webforms to ensure relevant data is captured at the point of sign up
• Support on event marketing campaigns with the Events Fundraising Manager
• Develop and deliver motivating stewardship journeys
• Build strong working relationships with other members of the Events and Community team and the wider Fundraising team and support other team members when required
• Work across internal teams to market places, ensure our participants our supported in the most appropriate way and spot cross-selling opportunities

The person
You will be an enthusiastic and driven professional, with project management, administration and data skills, with experience in customer care and events.
You will have a strong eye for detail, great organisational skills and a pro-active approach to work. You will understand the importance of delivering exceptional supporter care and stewardship journeys to raise value funds.
Person specification
• Knowledge of events fundraising (preferably third party) and fundraising practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills -with the ability to authentically communicate to support fundraisers, convey the work of the Whizz Kidz and show impact of support

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people who are life limited or life threatened. Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.
Over the past three years, Acorns’ leadership has enhanced collaboration and innovation across the charity and embedded an organisation-wide fundraising culture. They are now seeking a senior corporate partnerships specialist to lead Acorns’ newly formed Partnerships Team, which combines corporate new business, account management and community income streams.
A member of the Fundraising Leadership Team, the role will be responsible for securing and managing high-value strategic partnerships with businesses while simultaneously driving engagement with local community groups, education partners, and faith groups, ensuring clear tiering, structured pipeline progression and robust income performance.
The role will also act as Partnerships lead for the upcoming £5m fundraising appeal, co-canvassing alongside the Head of Philanthropy and executive leadership, and mobilising corporate and community networks around key campaign moments.
As Head of Partnerships, you will:
- Report to the Associate Director of Fundraising and line manage a team of four (Senior Business Development Manager (Corporate), Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager Senior Community Partnerships Manager, Partnership Engagement Officer)
- Form part of the Fundraising Leadership Team, with shared accountability for strategic decision making, compliance and cross-directorate working

The Communications Manager plays a key role in increasing the reach, visibility, and impact of the organisation’s work. The post-holder will lead on creating high-quality, audience-focused communications across digital platforms, ensuring all content reflects the organisation’s values, brand, and strategic priorities.

Suitability

4. Events and Programme Administration

- In-person events: Support the planning and delivery of occasional in-person events, including representing the organisation at external exhibitions and contributing to the Brazelton Centre UK 30th anniversary conference in 2027.

The Communications Coordinator will play a key role in shaping Animal Equality UK’s public voice. They will ensure all outgoing content, both digital and print, aligns with our brand, values, and mission.

Role’s Primary Objective
The Fundraising (and associated marketing development) Manager is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting alongside other senior managers on the Senior Management Team. This is a newly created role with significant scope to shape Tiphereth's external engagement and income generation strategy.
In Year One, you will be hands-on across the full breadth of fundraising and marketing activity, building the infrastructure, strategy and relationships needed for long-term success. From Year Two onwards, you will have the opportunity to recruit and develop a small team covering marketing and communications, community fundraising, and grant and trust applications.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically whilst also delivering at pace. You will need to be equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are drafting a grant application or stewarding a major donor. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy aligned with Tiphereth's Five-Year Plan and organisational values
• Work towards strategic income targets including a minimum £250,000 in major donor engagement over five years and increasing non-government income to 10% of total revenue
• Identify, develop and secure new fundraising opportunities to maximise income potential and expand Tiphereth's supporter base

• Build business cases for capital projects and new initiatives requiring external funding
2. Major Gifts and Philanthropy
• Identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family foundations with capacity to make transformative gifts

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors, ensuring exceptional stewardship and regular impact reporting

About School of Food
Set up in March 2020, Hackney School of Food (HSoF) is a food education hub on the grounds of Mandeville Primary School in Clapton, East London. Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of children, families, and our community by developing practical skills and confidence in food growing and cooking, from seed to spoon.
In 2023, we became a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), and have since grown our team, strengthened our governance and expanded our facilities with the addition of a new Garden Room, increasing capacity for workshops, dining and events. Role Overview
This brand-new role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver Hackney School of Food’s commercial and marketing strategy, with a focus on growing key income streams including corporate engagement, paid workshops and events, and venue hire. You will shape how HSoF positions itself externally and how we grow our trading income to subsidise our food education community offer.
While this is currently a freelance role, it is not a transactional position; you’ll collaborate closely with our team, supported by and reporting to our Managing Director. This is a role for someone who can think commercially and creatively and then roll up sleeves to put strategy into action. By the end of the initial six-month contract, the Commercial & Marketing Lead will have:
● Produced and agreed a clear Commercial & Marketing Delivery Plan for Hackney School of Food, setting priorities for growing our commercial income in a way that aligns with our mission.
● Refined our core commercial offers and packages (e.g. corporate away days, team volunteering, venue hire, paid public workshops), ensuring they are appealing and realistic to deliver.
● Built a healthy pipeline by identifying and actively pursuing 10–15 well-aligned commercial leads, with a focus on quality of fit as well as volume.

What you will do in the role:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
- Create compelling copy for the website, email campaigns, social media and other digital marketing materials.
- Manage the Society’s website, including developing, updating and monitoring content to ensure SEO/GEO maximisation and best practice.
- Plan, develop and oversee the production and repurposing of digital content including videos, podcasts and live streaming events, creating promotional, informational and thought leadership content.
- Oversee the design and production of printed material, branded assets and promotional items ensuring consistent implementation of the brand.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Build strong, productive, collaborative working relationships internally and externally to support the delivery of the digital marketing strategy.
Essential skills and experience you will need to demonstrate:
- Degree or relevant marketing qualification.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
- Experience of email marketing, social media (including advertising) and content marketing.
- Digital content design skills with experience in creating and repurposing digital content through applications such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Audition (or other equivalent.)
- Strong written communication.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills: self-sufficient in prioritising, organising workload and planning ahead.
- Able to think critically with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.

About Seashell Trust
Originally founded in 1823, Seashell Trust is a nationally recognised and registered charity based in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. The Trust comprises of the Royal School Manchester, the Royal College Manchester, bespoke Residential Care Homes, Outreach Health and Family Services that support over 8,000 people a year. We provide expert education and residential care for children and young adults with multiple complex disabilities including, profound learning difficulties, multi-sensory impairments, mobility issues and neurological disorders like severe autism. Our fantastic services are based all on one-site, which deepens our sense of community for our children and young adults and the Seashell team.
We are currently in the midst of the largest fundraising appeal in our 200-year history which will see our campus become the national centre of excellence for the education and residential care of children and young adults with the most complex disabilities.
In 2015 we raised £10 million to build our residential care facility Sir Norman Stoller Way and in 2023, opened The Moulding Foundation building, a £25 million home for Royal School Manchester. Building is now complete for our new Royal College Manchester; The Ged Mason building opened in early February 2026.
About the role
The Design and Communications Manager is responsible for managing Seashell’s brand identity so that it engages effectively with our audiences, reflects our values and articulates our ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as lead designer for the Trust and work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to establish clear direction for enhancing brand awareness
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to champion the Seashell brand, providing design insight and input into key campaigns.
- Design and create marketing and communications materials, as well as keeping the brand/marketing and communications toolkit and content bank up to date, to help our teams create their own materials to strengthen our brand and amplify awareness.
- Lead on design or oversee artwork for key organisational documents (impact report etc.) campaigns, fundraising events, reports, prospectuses, impact stories, social media, advertising and any other key content required.
- Act as ‘brand guardian’ and maintain brand assets and guidelines. Ensure consistent application of design standards and brand guidelines across all departments and communications
- Support Seashell’s understanding of its brand guidelines - including tone of voice, sentiment, inclusive language and visual identity - through the provision of advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate the development and delivery of creative content to strengthen and promote our brand, supporting Seashell’s strategic priorities and business planning requirements
- Work with suppliers and stakeholders throughout the development cycle. Duties include writing design and technical briefs, scoping technical development projects with colleagues and suppliers, establishing systems that will enable the functions to be most impactful
- Be accountable for the efficient management of key budgets, ensuring appropriate and effective spend

What you will need for the role:
- Previous experience in design led role is essential - experience of working in a marketing and communications role in an education and care setting, particularly within the charity sector is desirable
- Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or equivalent tools.
- Proven design skills, able to create high quality artwork that elevates a brand
- Competent user of website content management systems, WordPress in particular
- Ability to write and edit high quality, engaging and informative marketing communications copy
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to handle numerous projects with competing deadlines and priorities
- Excellent communication and relationship development skills.

About The Job:
This is a vital role in delivering our fundraising strategy and goals. The role holder will be responsible for raising income from individuals and legacies and increasing the volume and value of our supporter relationships, engaging new audiences and driving sustainable income growth. We will also trust the role holder to deliver fantastic supporter journeys and supporter experiences and contribute to the overall implementation of the Fundraising Team’s objectives.
Main Areas Of Responsibility:
Income Generation
· Lead on raising income to an agreed target, through acquisition, development and retention of individuals and legacy pledgers, as agreed with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Strategy
· Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to build and deliver a highly effective, sustainable, audience-centred public fundraising and supporter experience plan.
· Engage in market and supporter insight to inform decision-making and development of new activity/products.
· Develop a good understanding of our supporter base, their motivations and behaviours. Use our CRM database (Raisers’ Edge NXT) and data analysis and insights to inform the development of new fundraising campaigns and products.
· Take the lead role in the development of effective supporter journeys, working with the Community Fundraising Team to convert community fundraisers and events participants into regular donors.
· Lead the design and delivery of individual giving campaigns (including the Christmas campaign), using direct mail, digital marketing and advertisements to drive supporter acquisition and retention.
· Develop and design our legacy programme, working with Farewill and local law firms to encourage supporters to include Homeless Oxfordshire in their will.
· Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop and deliver a mid-level giving programme, driving the major donor pipeline and effectively stewarding donors giving at the £300-£1,000 level.
Operational Delivery
· Be responsible for the setting and managing of budgets, targets and KPIs. Report on progress, trends and take action when required. Analyse results and evaluate activity to inform future plans.
· Act as the lead-user for Raisers’ Edge, supervise the Data Administrator to ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation, and support the team with reporting and data analysis.
· Work collaboratively to ensure that all income generation activity is integrated and opportunities for cross-team working are maximised.
· Develop processes that enhance the team’s capacity, efficiency, and ensure effective fundraising.
· Manage external partners and agencies involved in fundraising delivery, ensuring due diligence, high quality and effectiveness.
· Ensure the highest standard of supporter experience in order to make the most of every interaction.
· Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all areas of the public fundraising portfolio, including the Fundraising Code of Practice, Data Protection and Gift Aid. Model best practice and coach team member as required.
Leadership
· Line manage the Data Administrator, supporting them on reconciliation, data entry and gift processing.
· Provide management information for SMT and the Board of Trustees as requested and attending meetings when required.
· Build positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
· Represent the charity at external meetings as and when required.
· Engage with the wider charity sector, learning from peers and sharing best practice.
General Duties:
· Compliance with Homeless Oxfordshire’s policies and procedures.
