Hours: 18.75 hours per week ((Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call Rota).

We are looking for a Refuge Worker to work within our culturally specific refuge to provide specialist, high-quality support to women and children escaping domestic abuse. Based in Lambeth, London, this role involves delivering practical and emotional support to survivors, ensuring their safety, and helping them rebuild their lives. As a Refuge Worker, you will support women through crisis, providing keywork sessions, safety planning, and advocacy. You will assist with accessing housing, welfare, legal support, and other essential services while maintaining accurate case records. You will also play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the refuge, managing referrals, and working collaboratively with partner agencies. About the Role

We are seeking a confident, experienced and mission-driven Communications & Content Senior Manager to join Bite Back on a fixed-term parental leave cover contract. This role will take on the leadership of Bite Back's content and communications function during a critical and exciting time. They will support the Head of Communications with the execution of Bite Back’s overarching communications strategy, ensuring our content and media coverage consistently contribute to our brand and campaigns objectives.

We are looking for warm, flexible and compassionate Relief Support Workers to join our Supported Living service in the centre of Rugeley, Staffordshire. Our service provides varying levels of care to 14 individuals with a range of support needs which can include learning disabilities. Some of the individuals require personal care, help taking medication and with other day to day tasks. Others are more independent and enjoy going out into the community alone.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Manager to lead this local parent driven Charity.

You will be responsible for leading the team of Family support officers and volunteers with the varied activities that the Charity provides, particularly regarding our supporting education program and supporting families with guidance on all aspects of their child’s wellbeing.

Main Duties and responsibilities

• To manage all operational activity of the charity according to the strategic direction provided by the CEO and Board of Trustees

The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, the NSPCC relies on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 85% of its annual income. Within Fundraising, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible donor experience by building long-term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity. 

The Special Events team focuses on fundraising events as a key part of audience-led fundraising. Job purpose

Job Title: Domestic Abuse Helpline Advisor

Location: Homeworking with a requirement to occasionally work at Head Office (Vauxhall, London)

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Helpline Advisor to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of violence and abuse, including those at the point of crisis.

Helpline Advisors are responsible for providing high-quality, empowering, emotional and practical support, assistance and information to women and those supporting them, who contact the Freephone 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge. Helpline Advisors deliver one to one support to women and those supporting them to ensure that they are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming service, enabling women to understand their rights, make decisions and increase their options. The job involves working across multiple platforms including phone and live chat, to inform survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.

About the role:

This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff.

As a Triage & Early Interventions Officer you will: -

• Act as the first point of contact for clients referred in to the service, ensuring that comprehensive impact and risks assessments are completed and a tailored response to each client's needs is provided.
• Carry a caseload of clients who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally. Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
• Ensure that support plans are developed with clients where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all outcomes and KPI measures are met relevant to the local contract.

• The ability to manage a demanding workload and to meet a range of conflicting deadlines
• Excellent telephone and IT skills required to use a database and undertake all administrative and reporting requirements

Project Workers are responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the centre and drop-in services. This role includes practical tasks alongside one-to-one support work with clients, across varied areas of need (e.g. homelessness and housing, health, addiction, criminal justice, employment). Project Workers coordinate with colleagues, volunteers and external partners to deliver a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment in which people get the help that they need to make positive changes and move on in their lives.

Our service opens 7 days a week and we're looking for a Project Worker to work full time, Saturday - Wednesday, 8.30am-4.30pm. 

The job is open to anyone with the experience and skills listed below, whether gained through paid or voluntary roles. The post is subject to DBS and reference checks.

Catching Lives supports people who are homeless or insecurely housed in Canterbury and East Kent. Our vision is of a society where everyone has a safe place to live and the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life. Our day centre is a minute’s walk from Canterbury East station. We open every day of the week to provide basic facilities (food, showers, laundry) alongside one-to-one support to help people improve housing, health and social connection. We also run a programme of arts and activities, and host specialist services from partner agencies.

About the job

We're looking for two Education Quality Coordinator's to help make sure students' academic voices are heard loud and clear. You'll work closely with UAL staff and student leaders to deliver course-based initiatives, opportunities and events that make a real difference to the experience of our students. A big part of your role will be the annual cycle of recruiting, training and support course and school reps so they feel confident and capable in representing their peers. You'll work with students to collect and share feedback, run academic campaigns and help shape positive changes to courses across UAL. You'll also keep track of key data, and support targeted engagement initiatives, and make sure students feel a genuine sense of belonging through their academic journey. It's a hands-on role where relationship building and problem solving go hand in hand.

Who we are looking for ?

We want individuals who are organised, approachable, and love working with people. You should be comfortable building relationships with a wide range of students and staff, and able to explain processes clearly and simply. Experience in education, community development, or a similar role is a big plus - especially if you've delivered training or organised events before. You'll need strong data skills, from keeping accurate stats to analysing feedback and turning this into action. Being flexible, proactive and good at juggling projects will help you thrive. Most importantly, you'll care about creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where every student feels included, heard and that they can contribute.
