We’re looking for a compassionate and committed Mental Health Support Worker to join our Luton Outreach Service. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality support to individuals with a history of mental illness, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals. You’ll work collaboratively with residents and partner agencies to promote recovery, wellbeing, and inclusion, while ensuring compliance with Peabody’s policies and best practice standards. This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference to people’s lives every day.
What you’ll do
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll carry out needs and risk assessments, develop support plans, and provide tailored assistance to residents. You’ll help customers maximise their income, sustain their housing, and access training, education, and health services. You’ll maintain accurate records, liaise with colleagues and external agencies on safeguarding and welfare concerns, and actively promote the service within the community. You’ll also encourage self-management of health and wellbeing, participate in team meetings and training, and ensure all activities comply with health and safety and equality standards. Please note this role will require an Enhanced DBS check as well as participation in an on-call rota.
What you’ll need
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally within a mental health setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Access to a vehicle and a full, clean, UK Driving License.
- Good IT literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety in supported housing.
- A flexible, empathetic approach and resilience to manage a busy and challenging role.

As Head of Philanthropy, you will:
- Lead the Royal Albert Hall’s philanthropic efforts, overseeing a talented team and delivering an ambitious strategy that spans multiple income streams: major donors, trusts and foundations, events, and the Friends & Patrons programme.
- Play a key role in helping shape and deliver the Hall’s transformative £50M capital appeal, which represents an extraordinary opportunity to expand the Hall’s fundraising reach, significantly increasing the volume of prospects engaged and deepening relationships with existing donors. Essential skills and experience:
- An accomplished philanthropic fundraiser and inspiring team leader with a proven track record of securing minimum 6-figure gifts from HNWIs. Examples should be clearly evidenced on your CV.
- Confident managing senior stakeholders, developing strategy, and working across multiple income streams to grow voluntary income.
- A leadership style that combines strategic oversight with personal involvement, enabling you to manage high-value relationships directly when needed, especially with key donors.
Arts fundraising experience is not essential.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire. This service will provide emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children.
The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice. A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.
The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

ROLE PURPOSE:
ShelterBox is seeking a candidate with previous humanitarian experience to support our agile and effective International Programmes Department. The successful candidate will support responses to rapid-onset disasters and protracted emergency response programmes within across our portfolio ensuring we deliver high quality, impactful outcomes at speed and scale for the people we support.
The International Programme Department is split over three Regional Directorates - a) Asia & MENA (Middle East and North Africa), b) East and Southern Africa, and c) West Africa and LAC (Latin American and the Caribbean). Reporting to the Regional Director - Asia and MENA, the Programme Officer will work closely with colleagues in the Programme Delivery Team to support ShelterBox programmes across the regions. The type of support will be varied but may include elements such as support in development of partnerships, project documents such as proposals and agreements, monitoring project progress, support in analysis of data coming from operational partners such as through post-distribution monitoring (PDM) and in other areas related to the project cycle. The role will likely include working with teams to prepare and respond to emergencies in high-risk countries.
The role will support project delivery, including communicating with partners and supporting reviewing, funding, and monitoring of international programmes. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in humanitarian action or international development.
The Programme Officer is a deployable role and may include travel to crisis-affected countries to support programme delivery and emergency responses. This could include travel to areas with damaged and missing infrastructure, few facilities and communities experiencing severe trauma.

The right person will have experience of working successfully in close-knit and multidisciplinary teams, project development and supporting day-to-day management of programmes. About the Role

Job Purpose
• The hospital to home service works collaboratively with hospitals to support people
when they are discharged from hospital to return home. As a Hospital to Home
Outreach Worker you will provide temporary practical and emotional support to service
users within their home and make sure they understand the care and treatment choices
available to them. The service is time limited, usually up to 4 or 6 weeks, to adjust and
settle back in their homes.
Key Tasks
• Assess the needs of service users either in hospital before discharge, or in their homes,
and understand what barriers and enablers there might be to moving home.
• Aid the discharge process and improve patient experience through tasks such as:
• Key cutting
• Co-ordinating with colleagues for the setup of the home environment
• Checking heating, electric and gas is functional prior to discharge
• Allowing access to the property for cleaning/repairs
• Provide (and/or arrange) the practical and emotional support needed to enable
service users to move home and/or remain safely at home.
• Be vigilant and make referrals/signpost for additional needs that our wider team, or

Our new colleague will gain exciting CV enhancing experience through working and securing new grants for some of the larger funders which is where we wish this post to focus on.
You will support Edward’s Trust to develop its presence in the trust and foundations world, by working to agreed new business targets and contributing to the creation of a high-quality pipeline of new trust and foundation opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Become an expert in Edward’s Trust current activities and future plans
- Manage a portfolio of trust supporters, providing outstanding stewardship, and ensuring relationships deliver against agreed objectives to enhance the long-term relationship.
- Prepare and deliver engaging bids and reports to share impact and inspire future support.
- Work cross-organisationally to support projects and reporting and to help shape and develop appropriate projects for funding (alongside the Head of Fundraising and Service Delivery Manager).
- Build good working relations with key staff and Trustees of established trust supporters.
- Thank supporters promptly and ensure that progress reports and updates are received by supporters as and when required.
