Job Purpose:

To support OMF’s mission and vision by providing excellent administrative support for the People & Culture department and coordinating the provision of pastoral care and resources which promote the wellbeing, engagement and development of OMF International (UK) workers, including members andretirees.

The jobholder has a special responsibility for coordinating professional and compassionate pastoral, spiritual, and practical care across the OMF International (UK) community. • Be open to exploring opportunities to lead weekly office devotions and/or worship.

• Attend regular internal events (such as Home Assignment Workshops, UK team days, retreat days, and other team functions) and occasional external events, presenting and leading departmental sessions as required.

Communication & Partnership

• Liaise with Area Representatives, churches, and partners to ensure members, retirees and volunteers are connected and supported locally.

• Encourage members in partner development and prayer support, particularly when on Home Assignment.

• Liaise with the Communications Department to highlight and effectively share stories and encouragements from OMF international (UK) workers.

• Provide reporting on member movement and status to the Finance Team and Leadership Team

• Undertake any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as specified by the People & Culture Manager.

Safeguarding & Compliance

• Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and care across all people-related processes.

• Support training and awareness for staff, members, and volunteers on safeguarding and wellbeing issues.

Person Specification

Educated to A Level or equivalent, preferable CIPD level 3 qualified 

Theological and/or missiological training

Good understanding of the UK and Ireland Christian context and cross-cultural mission

Basic knowledge of safeguarding 

Competent user of Microsoft Office, databases, and digital communication tools including Microsoft Teams

Driven to achieve high standards in administration and events organisation

Self-motivated, keen to drive projects forward using own initiative

About you

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives?  We are looking for someone with experience of delivering high quality supporter journeys and delivering fundraising projects and activities to join our Legacy & In Memory Giving team. Helping to grow income and supporting and delivering the Legacy & In Memory Giving fundraising strategy. 

You will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills with good attention to detail and be able to follow procedures accurately.  Being successful in building effective relationships, self-motivated with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks under pressure and committed to making a difference is essential.

Previous experience of working in a cancer or healthcare charity, talking to bereaved and vulnerable supporters and using Raiser’s Edge or a similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential.

About the role

The Legacy & In Memory Giving Fundraiser will help support and deliver the Legacy and In Memory Giving fundraising strategy.  You will have compassionate communication skills, especially when talking to supporters who are recently bereaved and you will develop and deliver outstanding stewardship programmes that offer support and drive retention.

This role requires using data and insight to help deliver the Legacy marketing programme, whilst also supporting the day-to-day Legacy and estate administration, dealing with solicitors, legal representatives and executors.  You will proactively develop In Memory Giving fundraising, maximising the fundraising products, channels and messaging already available, as well as identifying new opportunities that are suitable for the Legacy & In Memory audience.

The role will also include working with colleagues, maximising cross team collaboration and ensuring appropriate Legacy and In Memory stewardship across all fundraising specialisms.

We're seeking two Research Grants Officer to join our Research Funds team and support the Joint Heads of Research Funds in all matters relating to the operation of grants administration.

About the role

British Heart Foundation (BHF) currently has six research funding committees: Chairs & Programme Grants Committee; Clinical Studies Committee; Fellowships Committee (Clinical); Fellowships Committee (Discovery Research); Project Grants Committee and Translational Awards Committee. 

These new Research Grants Officer role will support the work of our Fellowships Committee and Special Programmes, as well as covering the work of the other Grants Officers in relation to other committees, when required.
 
In this role you’ll deal with correspondence and address queries relating to all aspects of grants administration in a timely manner. You’ll also administer preliminary outline and full applications, provide feedback and advice to applicants, as well as facilitate and attend committee meetings, arrange interviews and prepare and distribute minutes of the meeting.

You’ll be at ease using a complex database and will provide a high level of service to senior members of the scientific community.

About you

An experienced administrator, you’ll be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, capable of working independently and producing accurate work with minimal supervision.

With excellent interpersonal skills and confidence, you’ll be able to liaise confidently and professionally with all levels of seniority.

With advanced IT skills (Microsoft Office including SharePoint) and database knowledge, you’ll preferably have previous experience servicing committees. You’ll also have previous financial experience, able to pay invoices and be involved in budgeting.

This role will manage multiple projects at once with conflicting deadlines, so excellent multi-tasking, organisational and time management skills are a must.

Customer focused, you’ll have strong analytical abilities, accuracy and attention to detail as well as excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

About the role

We have an opportunity for a Safeguarding Officer to join our very busy team!

The organisation has a strong safeguarding ethos promoting the overall safety, safeguarding and welfare of all of our members. We are seeking individuals who have experience of the voluntary youth or community sector or other relevant professional field and have direct practice experience of working with children & young people in a safeguarding context.  You will have excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of Early Help along with experience and knowledge of statutory requirements, and best practice guidance, relating to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk. 

Our safeguarding team operates centrally in London where we are responsible for providing support, advice and guidance to our volunteers relating on all safeguarding matters across the UK. Our safeguarding Officers act as our lead professionals in managing safeguarding casework in line with our policy, procedures and statutory duty.

We aim high and strive for excellence in our practices to safeguard children, young people and adults at risk.  We are continually evolving and seeking ways to improve and enhance our safeguarding practices as we move forward. 

Whilst this is a Monday- Friday full time position, a flexible approach to work and working patterns is a must, as is the ability to work effectively and respond appropriately in challenging circumstances.

• Support, guide and coach SCC volunteers to implement a local response to safeguarding concerns
• Effective and skilful management of an allocated caseload
• Lead professional – Allegation Management

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting a Development Lead/Coordinator (Fundraising). We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated individual to join the Fundraising Team to help grow and diversify our core private funding/income streams in its invaluable and ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes exist and are accessible for all people seeking asylum.

Reporting to the Development Manager (Partnerships), you will coordinate the day today delivery of our fundraising strategy, with a particular focus on high value giving and building strong, values aligned relationships with supporters.

You will play a key role in turning strategy into action. This includes nurturing relationships with major donors, trusts and foundations, and helping to develop new income such as institutional funding or legacy giving, to ensure our funding is resilient and sustainable.

You will work as part of a collaborative Fundraising Team and closely with colleagues across Safe Passage International, including teams in the UK, Greece, and France.

We are looking for good transferrable leadership and organisational skills, as detailed in the Person Specification. Experience in a similar role would be welcome, but this could also be your first paid position in the NGO sector, or you could be returning to work after time out. A full induction will be provided, alongside a dedicated training budget to support you to grow and develop within your role.

About the role

The Data Analyst works within the Data Team, using and transforming data from multiple sources to produce high quality, digestible reports, dashboards, and bespoke pieces of analysis for our fundraising and alumni colleagues.  You will also lead on any benchmarking projects, both the submission of data and the interpretation and presentation of their findings.  Being a clear communicator of often complex information, you will deliver insight into the performance of our various fundraising and engagement programmes, giving colleagues the information they need to continually innovate and improve.

In addition, you will have a raft of technical skills and approaches that will enable you to efficiently transform source data from multiple data sources ready for import into our Dynamics CRM system.

You will be keen to learn and develop, embracing new technologies and ways of working, and will work with the Data Team and others across the department to improve the quality of the underlying data we all rely on.  You will also work closely with others in the team, IT colleagues and other users across the organisation to shape future CRM features.

You will be required to liaise and work collaboratively with other teams on new fundraising projects and initiatives, thereby ensuring a joined-up approach, that future reporting requirements can be met, with learning shared and insight retained.  You will often need to manage multiple requests and prioritise your workload, albeit we have adopted an Agile approach to development.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
